General
Illust is a playful, quirky, fun-loving Lala with a not-so-well-kept secret. Berserker rage, Wrath, Bloodlust, whatever you wanna call it, this girl has an intense thirst to swing her axe and make blood pour. There is nothing in the world she loves more than hacking and slashing and feeling the thrill of battle. Her desire for war is so intense it borders on an addiction, and the Lala takes measures to keep herself functioning normally in daily Eorzean life. If you manage to catch her in town she will be nothing but overly-cheerful and pleasant, occasionally sipping from a few strange mixtures she keeps on her at all times.

Personality
Seems actually almost unable to be serious unless the situation is dire. This Lala is constantly cracking a joke or making a witty remark, poking fun and teasing mercilessly. This may or may not get her into trouble with those of less patience and higher authority. She means well, though. Illust is playful and loves making friends with anyone who can keep up with her wit, or better yet challenge it. She may come off a bit reserved at first, but once the Lala warms up to you she will be a quick friend - that is, if you can handle her constant bubblines. When speaking her tiny body is very animated, she will tell a story with her whole body. It's almost as if she can't stand still.

On the Battlefield
Hidden under her helm, sweating, panting... laughing? The Illust wielding an axe seems a far sight from the Illust in a tavern. Her secret bloodlust is pretty much impossible for this Lala to hide when she's out there hacking and slashing away with her axe. There is no other thrill greater to her than maliciously murdering any foe standing in her way. She'll overkill a decided contract number of beasts, she'll travel every possible path in a dungeon to kill every remaining creature, once she starts it's awhile before she stops - usually from exhaustion. This is not to say she's not a friend on the Battlefield, Illust plays her role well. She takes every hit with pleasure, and delivers devastating blows between occasional fits of giggles. Anyone who fights alongside this Lala will see an almost new personality, a free and frantic one, blissfully malevolent.

L I K E S
■ Battling, fighting, murdering, killing shit, surely you've gotten the gist by now I shouldn't even have to say this.
■ Gardening: Growing up on a farm had it's perks. Illust is gifted in keeping just about any plant alive, and enjoys keeping a small garden in every town she visits regularly. She grows a handful of herbs that she brews into her "organic alchemy potions" that she sips from every so often while not out in the field. Many speculate this is just her "cute Lalafell way" of saying she's getting sloshed secretly. Whether that's true or not, she will happily spend hours getting her hands dirty, and will take a quick liking to any others who share the interest.
■ Smoking ( certain special herbs that you gotta pay a little extra for from the folks at the Botanist Academy )/Recreational Drugs/Drinking: Illust is not one to turn down a good time while in town. Any excuse to dull her senses a few extra hours.
■ Gridania She will always make a stop here if she has free time. Though a native of the beautiful shores of Limsa, Illust has a fascination for the massive forests and plentiful flora and fauna that abound there.
■ Travel: She has a Wanderlust that never keeps her in one place long. Currently Illust has no permanent residence and even if she did, she'd hardly be there. The Lala loves to bounce from continent to continent and wants to explore every inch of every where, which, and way. She is happy to go on any spur of the moment adventure and never turns down a long trip, especially if dangerous monsters and criminals are involved.

D I S L I K E S
■ Her substance dependence: Illust must constantly drink her homemade concoctions to dull her bloodlust itch. She would always rather be out on the battlefield, but she must maintain some semblance of a normal adult life if she hopes to continue her work as a mercenary and training with her axe. She does enjoy having friends, experiencing the finer and simpler things in life, but her "addiction" rules above all. Sometimes she feels it would be easier to give up on trying to dull her urges and just let wild without ever coming down, but this would most certainly kill her.

■ Taking off her armor: Illust almost never takes off her shiny metals. She loves the look and feel of ornate and detailed armor, and will give any excuse to leave it on no matter how disgustingly hot it is or how formal the occasion. In town she removes her helmet but that's about as much as you're gonna get. She does secretly love to dress up in cute frilly things, but she'd sooner lose her favorite axe than let anyone see her in something like that.

■ Littering Growing up appreciating nature, Illust hates a litterbug! Don't let this Lala catch you tossing things not exactly in the bin, a toss-up between a lecture and axe will be in your future.

■ Sitting Still Whether wishing to battle or having to sit through a bard's performance, Illust can't stay still for more than a few minutes. Tapping her foot or drumming her fingers against her armor is a pretty common habit.

S T R E N G T H S

■ Masochist Not only does she loves delivering attacks, this girl loves to take them. She doesn't just tolerate fatal blows, she enjoys them. A fighter who will not fall until her legs give up on her.

■ High Tolerance Because the young Lala spends the better part of her days dulling her bloodlust with potions and drink, her tolerance is incredibly high. It would not be easy to get this Lala drunk.

■ Optimistic Whether an affect of being constantly sedated or otherwise, Illust rarely falters from a smile. She is often a shoulder to cry on as she's good at making a joke and looking at the bright side of things.
