K'ohli Tia is quite the lazy Miqo'te who was born in Ul'dah, Thanalan.

Appearance & Personality

With his tanned skin, odd eyes, and Seeker lineage, K'ohli is not a Miqo'te you would normally expect to find snoozing about in Gridania. Nonetheless, the auburn-headed male found his way into the Shroud thanks to his Keeper mother, all five fulm and two ilm of him! He can be quite forgetful and often sleeps when he's not got a job to do - whether that's some sort of depression deep within the miqo'te or simply something he loves to do is up to debate.

K'ohli was never truly a part of his Seeker tribe, and there were constant rumors that he was an accident between a Seeker and Keeper, given his personality. He's content to stand back, let others fight, and probably take a nap in the middle of a screaming crowd, if he doesn't have to get involved. He's not one for conflict and has something of a self-deprecating sense of humor, and often avoids the subject of family or tribes, save for him often mentioning his mother. For what it's worth, he feels family - whether by blood or by bonds - is incredibly important. So he left that behind and chose his own path, as his mother wanted him to do.

He doesn't stay in Gridania very long, at least not as a resident. He much prefers Limsa Lominsa and later moves there into a small apartment. He's always preferred La Noscea over the other regions of Eorzea, simply because he's fond of beaches and sunshine as well as the city itself. It helped to lift his mood, though he does still sleep too much.

Biography

Childhood

It would appear the rumors were true - K'ohli was born between a male Seeker and a female Keeper. His childhood was full of, for the most part, arguments and the comfort and affection of his mother. He and his mother actually left Thanalan quite early on in his life - around when he was three or four. He has very little memories of his father, much less what his name was or why he and his mother got together. As soon as they'd left, him and his mother settled in Gridania, quite close to the botanists' guild. His mother took up botany despite her skill as a conjurer, and he was soon to follow as soon as she'd let him hold even a trowel. He quickly grew to love planting and growing flowers, and often followed his mother to the safer areas she would forage in.

Plant Passions

Given how often he would help his mother with her work the older he got, it was natural that he became a botanist as well. He takes pride in it and cares plenty for the world around him, as well as all the little planters littering his apartment.
