He's unusually short for a Hyur, only standing up to 5'5" with a somewhat lithe and most fragile physique. A lifetime of luxury has given him a little bit of flab that further softens his features. For reasons unknown, Beau has been blessed with an absurdly youthful face: soft and puffy cheeks, glassy blue disarming eyes, and a cute little nose. He carries himself quite prim and properly as one would expect of a noble; he simply exudes delicacy. Really, it’s no wonder why he is often mistaken for a child. The boy tends to dress himself in expensive clothing, even for combat purposes. Preferring more down-to-earth colors such as whites, soft browns, beige, and the occasional red, Beau has a sharp fashion sense that simply works for his tiny self. He takes great care of his attire, always making sure it's nice and tidy without any traces of filth. Beau has a soft-spoken, boyish voice to match his appearance. He naturally speaks quite a bit on the casual side for a noble, but when the situation calls for it he will, of course, speak much more formally. Beau's Journal Beau's ramblings in a small journal he keeps. Doesn't seem to be updated as of late. The Gladiator and the Whelp Beau ends up being hired by a Bloodsands Gladiator. The two share an unlikely friendship, and soon enough even more... Homecoming Beau returns to his family for the first time since he started adventuring to celebrate his Nameday along with the upcoming Starlight holiday. He doesn't seem to be all that excited about it, however. Basile Lavalliere (♥) - Step-Father An experienced Wildwood merchant whose family originated from the Shroud before laying down the foundation of the Lavalliere's wealth in Ul'Dah. Beau and his step-father share a respectful, if ever-so-slightly strained relationship; Basile expects his step-son to help out with the family business, but Beau just isn't interested. Even though he hasn’t been the best son, Beau still deeply appreciates everything Basile does for the rest of the family. Isolde Lavalliere (♥) - Mother A lost childhood friend of Basile's who would become his wife after reconnecting with him later in life. Having been abandoned by Beau's biological father while she was pregnant, Isolde dotes on her firstborn immensely. Beau tries to shrug off his mother's constant - though well-meaning - warnings and concerns, but in the end it seems like they've rubbed off on him as well. Aufrix Lavalliere (♥) - Younger Half-Brother Ever dutiful and devoted to the family business, this Hyur-Elezen of 18 summers not-so-secretly resents Beau for being generally lazy and unhelpful. Beau, however, is completely oblivious to such feelings; he is rather fond of Aufrix, much to his brother's frustration. Harold Lavalliere (♥) - Youngest Half-Brother A recently-blooming child of 15 summers, Harold idolizes his big brother. The Hyur-Elezen wishes to become an adventurer like Beau, but education - as Isolde would say - takes far more precedence. Yorihiko Kawamura (♦♥♥?) - Name/Relation/Title DESCRIPTION Orren Chamberlain (♦) - The Sword of the Shroud Ever the mysterious and excessively cryptic man. And yet, it appears Orren watches over Beau much like how an older brother would. The boy likes to spend much of his time worrying over his good friend, and gets frustrated that he is often denied from offering Orren his support. Ulfarr Reddwing (♦) - Ward of House Rillek Ulfarr and Beau share a most unlikely friendship. The two tend to banter with one another, with the boy not shying away from teasing the older man and Ulfarr roasting the boy in turn. Orren Chamberlain seems to be a popular and highly controversial topic between them; Beau's obsession with his well-being is often at odds with Ulfarr's vehement dislike of him. At the end of the day, however, the two foster a promising companionship. Acquaintances and Allies. Sethander Somerville (♦♥) - Boisterous Bare Bruiser An odd friendship, really. Beau often plays the straight man to Seth's antics, though there are times where he finds himself playing along. He tries not to pay much attention to the Highlander's flirtatious nature and muscular physique, which is difficult because the man is always in some manner of undress. Rhysiera Riviera (♦) - Name/Relation/Title The woman could stare daggers at the Twelve and they would cower before her. At least, that's what Beau thinks. Realizing that she most likely has gone through some terrible experiences, Beau respects Rhysiera as much as he fears her. Never one to beat around the bush, Rhysiera has given Beau particularly grim advice that he hopes he never has to heed. Slaeswerd Gyrmoensyn (♦♥✔) - Bejeweled Bull of the Bloodsands A Bloodsands Gladiator who hired Beau to be his healer in-between matches. The two grew closer over time, developing a friendship that once took a turn for the intimate. Because of Slaeswerd's forceful nature and Beau's unsorted feelings, they had a falling out, with Beau opting to maintain a professional relationship between fighter and healer. Koh'li Delanoes (♦♥) - The Beast in the Shadows DESCRIPTION Vaelyn Rillek (●) - The Will of Halone An Ishgardian man of noble blood. In light of Orren Chamberlain's feelings towards the Ishgardian Priesthood, Beau is slightly wary of Lord Rillek.
