Nucoraux Mibvinge [edit] About Personality Appearance Relationships Rumors OOC Credit -Updated 5/7/2017- Hailing from Sharlayan, Nucoraux is a standoffish, sardonic healer and part-time fortune teller. Though he's been in Eorzea for the better part of a decade, even before the calamity and the end of the previous Astral, he still hasn't taken well to most of the city-states or its denizens. When he does attend events, it's rare for him to take part in small talk, though he does the occasional fortune for a person or an outcome - ones that are typically without request. Nucoraux's partial acquisition of 'Razortalons Adventuring Company' may have been to skip scrutiny but wise investments and horriyingly disadvantageous-to-the-worker contracts keep it profitable. ■ Alcohol: Nucoraux's one constant is his drinking. He typically has anywhere from three to six flasks hidden in the bulky robes and coats he tends towards. ■ Knowledge: Originally from Sharlayan, Nucoraux still has knowledge on his mind - though typically of the scholarly, peer-reviewed style and not whatever crackpot idea someone has to explain a rainbow they just saw. ■ Triple Triad: Nucoraux makes a habit of collecting and staying apprised on goings on in the Triple Triad world. Dislikes ■ Talking: More of a listener, Nucoraux is hard to lure into conversation and typically dismissive even then. ■ Flirting: Tied with above, his lack of interest in meet and greets and general conversation has lead to a general dislike of flirting. ■ Poor People: Poor people offer little in way of profits or intelligence. In Nuc's mind, if they were smart they wouldn't be poor - or wouldn't be for long. Quirks ■ Stards: Somewhere between a joke and serious is Nucoraux's shorting of 'Stars' and 'Cards'. Unorthodox, but his common short-hand for the cards reflecting the movement of the Stars. ■ Triple Triad Tarot: An orthodox deck of Sharlayan cards has six cards. That's far too few for Nucoraux, even with liberal interpretations on card positioning. Instead, he uses his collected triad deck for readings - whether or not he took some true decks and glue for this purpose is currently unknown. ■ Warder: True to his disinterested nature, Nucoraux dislikes touching. He's known to throw up temporary, strong protection spells when someone tries to pat, touch, hit, or hug him and is adept at throwing them up reflexively. ■ Wealth is in Appearance: Typically not the the point of flamboyancy, Nucoraux does wear brighter and 'richer' colored fabrics, accessories, and jewelry. He wouldn't want to be mistaken for being poor, after all. Appearance When standing, Nucoraux is as tall as most duskwights get. His face is marked with a number of faded scars, the most prominent across his nose with an accompanying dip from some injury long past. His hair was probably a light blue in his youth but has already starting to transition to a just as light blue-grey at his current age. In public, he's typically in a bulkier robe of some sort, rarely without gold, silver, or other wealthy adornment and the occasional lump from his flasks with certain motions. Though they're nominally friendly, most of their conversations inadvertently end in arguments, especially over the proper use of alcohol - unless there's a more fitting target for their verbal ires. Merimu Razortalon ( ♠ ) - Worker The original person whom Zozo and Nuc bought the company from, now indentured to Razortalon itself. Nucoraux constantly 'forgets' his name, usually making up a similar sounding one for introductions or reference. Rumors Some of these rumors are untrue, speculation, or are greatly exaggerated. As such, I will go to every length to avoid retconning when it comes to RP involving Nucoraux.
