Character
General
Naja is a twenty-three-year-old miqo'te who hails from La Noscea. Her mother made a name for herself in the past, as the infamous pirate, Ayda Bruhns. Once Ayda ended her lucrative career as a pirate, she settled down with a mild-mannered shipment worker by the name of Eric Elo’quie. The two were unable to conceive, however, and so they decided to adopt instead. It was love at first sight when they met the snow white miqo’te baby.
Loved and supported by her parents, and influenced by the city of Limsa Lominsa, Naja grew up to become a freelance bodyguard. She loves exploration, and mingling with others when she’s off duty.
Naja is currently doing mercenary work for her Full Company as she tries to understand her place in the world.
Appearance
Naja has turquoise eyes, and white hair and fur that she sometimes dyes different colors. Her skin is a cool toned tan that some have remarked as very unique. She enjoys sporting blue face paint, occasionally, and her attire varies from dashing shirt and trouser combos to exotic dresses. She used to keep her hair short for combat reasons, but recently she's been experimenting with growing it out. Her height is a bit taller than a lot of female miqo'te she's met.
Personality
Naja has a very idealistic mindset about the world, and because of this she often comes off as naive or even clueless at times.
She often has a relaxed disposition, but is easily excited when her interests are piqued. She's very curious about the world, and will work hard to learn new things about it.
Naja's personality is playful and thoughtful. She is protective of those she loves, and those that she perceives as needing protection. She can be quite a tomboy, but also occasionally has a very girly streak. She's a warm person who enjoys making new friends.
As a miqo'te who was raised by humans, the customs of other miqo'te are sometimes lost on her. She makes friends first and foremost, and is not too familiar with romantic matters. She can come off as apprehensive and awkward when flirtation is taking place.
She has complexes about her identity as a miqo'te, and insecurities about her femininity.
Combat
Naja’s parents weren’t afraid to teach her how to use an axe at an early age. Naja loves using axes, polearms, and fighting in general. She finds sparring exhilarating, and enjoys doing it as a pastime.
