Appearance

Her figure is very typical of her clan, and she bears many features iconic of the Duskwights. Perhaps her most notable feature are her amber eyes, a family trait passed down from her mother's side of the family.

History

Being a Duskwight she rarely had any contact with other races, or clans besides her own though she had heard stories from her mother who claimed to be quite the traveled Elezen woman. Though the tales of a bright, exciting world entice Victorique, her very traditional father would not allow her to venture away from home; away from safety as he put. For years she lived in peace -albeit bored by the daily monotony of her life- though that soon changed when her mother became gravely ill. Victorique, her father, and her young sister all tried their best to save her mother, but sadly their efforts were not rewarded for she succumbed to the illness. Victorique grieved for the loss of her mother -for the loss of the woman she had bee closest to- for three years, taking care of her younger sibling and becoming like a mother to her in many ways. Ultimately though she felt trapped. Everything seemed to remind Victorique of her mother, and her father began to notice this more and more over the years as he too grieved his beloved's death. Thus with her father's blessing Victorique left her family and her home to see the world that her mother had told enchanting tales about. Slowly, she made her way to the city of Limsa Lominsa. So began her journey into Eorzea...

Personality

Victorique is reserved, and can be said to be quite a serious individual. She in generally distrustful of other races and the Greens that she sees so often nowadays, though that is to say she refuses to speak to them at all and is dismissive. If approached she would likely be cautious but not rude or off-putting, for you see she is too inquisitive for that, a trait she acquired from her mother; at least according to her father.

Though she is very studious, when not soaking up the wealth of information that the guild has to offer she is known to be quite the maternal sort despite being in her early twenties. She tends to look after other people particularly those younger than her, should they need it. Though she is not one to baby anyone, so her care may be percieved as "tough love" on occassion. However there are other times when she can be extremely tough on people, and quite cold.

In large groups she is withdrawn, and often takes a back seat in conversations. However, she listens well and will speak her mind should she be asked or if there is something she disagrees with. In smaller more intimate settings Victorique is far more relaxed and open. She feels far more at ease and is often far chattier, particularly is something piques her interest. It is in these settings that her less serious inquisitive nature shows.

OOC Inspirations

Her name came from the heroine of the anime 'Gosick', Victorique De Blois which is set in France. Her personality too to some extent, though other inspirations could include Kanga from Winnie the Pooh, Aoi Tohsaka and Rin Tohsaka from the Fate series, and Katara from The Last Airbender.
