Appearance: Standing at full height, Aulairet is definetly on the taller side for Elezen males. Although he's not heavily muscled, he's very strong despite his lean and lanky build; and of course he's agile and fast, like the rest of his Wildwood brethren.
He tends to slouch, and when he walks it's either with a relaxed gait or a drunken stagger depending on when you catch up with him.
Usually has a glassy, hazy look to his heavy lidded eyes. Along with a mouth that seems curved up at the corners in a permanent smirk.
Distinguishing marks/scars:
thin, faded scar on his right cheek by the jawline
small tattoo on the pad of his left thumb, goes largely unnoticed or mistaken for a smudge.

Fashion of Choice: Whatever's clean. He is very unconcerned with dressing up, but will do so if the occasion calls for it.
Armor of Choice: Protective, lightweight, and functional. If the gear meets these three criteria, then they are acceptable to him
Weapons of Choice: Books of Arcane knowledge, but can also use a bow competently.

Personality
Alignment: Chaotic Good (Unprincipled) ~ Chaotic good characters are strong individualists marked by a streak of kindness and benevolence. They believe in all the virtues of goodness and right, but they have little use for laws and regulations. They have no use for people who "try to push folk around and tell them what to do." Their own moral compass guides their actions, which, although good, may not always be in perfect agreement with the rest of society.
Chaotic Good/Unprincipled Characters Will:
1. Have a high regard for life and freedom.
2. Keep his word of honor.
3. Lie and cheat if necessary (especially to those of anarchist and evil alignments).
4. Will not kill an unarmed foe (but will take advantage of one).
5. Help those in need.
6. Not use torture unless absolutely necessary.
7. Work with a group, especially if profitable.
8. Never harm an innocent.
9. Never kill for pleasure.
10.Dislike authority.
11.Never betray a friend.
Motivations: Although Qual seems like a carefree slacker, he really does care about the welfare of his family and their legacy. For the most part, Qual does his own thing, but the disappearance of his eldest brother, and subsequent departure of his father and death of his mother have all affected him, making him want to do more to help the Family.
Outlook: Positive but kind of clueless about how to help. Feels a little bit insignificant and overwhelmed by the calamity and all that's happened because of it.
Sexuality: Bisexual; but while Qual likes sex with both males and females, he would only ever take a female as a spouse.
Positive Personality Traits: Imaginative, easy going, resourceful, jovial, amusing- but not really on purpose, loyal when it counts
Negative Personality Traits: Unmotivated and unreliable at times. Prefers to enjoy pleasurable activities rather than hard work, and tends to shirk his duties or pawn off unwanted tasks on others. Definetly not proactive.
Misc. Quirks: Qual has a few very particular and peculair superstitions.
1. He never tells loved ones "Goodbye". Instead he says things like "I'll see you soon" or "Talk with you later" to help prevent bad things from happening to them.
2. He also won't open his mouth around graves or in a graveyard, because he believes spirits can either possess you that way, or steal your life force from your gaping maw.
3. Lastly, he strongly insists that none of the potted plants that decorate the House's interior be thorn bearing foliage. Thorny plants growing inside the home are very unlucky. The only exception could ever be made for roses, so long as the roses' stems are cut before the flowers are brought into the house.
Strengths: Marksmanship, athletics, aetheric studies
Weaknesses: Prefers to stay firmly on land, traveling by sea or air makes Qual very nervous, not to mention motion sick. He doesn't even like to travel by chocobo, but does so when he has to.
