Voice: Belian's voice is warm and kind with a tint of mischief. When he speaks he has a faint Lominsian accent that he covers well, only coming out fully when hes either comfortable with someone or drunk.

Clothing Style: Belian dressed like most people from Limsa Lominsa, wearing clothing from his home city.

Belian is a bit on the scrawny side. Lethe but very tone from years at sea. He has scruffy blonde hair, unkempt and medium length. He has vibrant green eyes that seem to shine with mischief. A goatee adorns his chin that he keeps neatly trimmed. He has a very typical pirate look to him.

Life story

Belian was born the son of a Fisherman and a tavern wench. Growing up his father was at sea more then he was home and his mother was working serving drinks and meeting strange men. No one had time for him so he grew up on the streets of Limsa Lominsa. He learned how to steal, how to fight and how to survive.

A chance encounter when Belian was 10 with a ships 1st mate (Belian was caught trying to lift his coin purse) introduced him to life at sea. In exchange for sparing his life Belian would serve as cabin boy, helping to cook food and clean up after the sailors. Belian hated the work but he loved being at sea. The wind in his hair, the absolute freedom, he was home. The ship was a legitimate privateer, ferrying cargo and such where it needed to go. It wasn't until later he would meet the men that would mold him into what he is today.

That day came when the ship was attacked by pirates. This was before the Admiral outlawed piracy and it was as a part of Lominsian culture as eating fish was. Young Belian was instantly captivated by these men, men who took what they wanted and didn't care about anyone of anything except them, to a degree he could relate. He stowed away on the pirate ship, hiding in a barrel they took from his own ship.

His second brush with death came when someone finally opened that barrel, and instead of seeing fish or booze, they found a scrawny 13 year old blonde kid. Belian not only begged for his life but to let him stay on board and join them. They were going to kill him anyway but when a burly pirate swung on the young kid Belian ducked under it and punched the man in the nose. It was a completely ineffective punch only serving to make the pirates angry and they probably would have eaten him alive had it not been for the man he punched. He liked this scrawny kids moxy and agreed to have him stay aboard as his own little servant. It was the rock bottom as far as fearless pirates go... but it was a start.

years pass and Belian worked his way up to regular member of the crew, he was a pirate and finally, the life he always wanted was his. He raped and pillaged and fought and plundered. With his crew by his side he was invincible. No laws save their own. All good things must come to an end and once the Admiral took power she outlawed piracy as they knew it. Under the flag of truce the Limsa Lominsa government gave him and his crew a choice, sail under their banner or be hunted down like dogs, who could refuse such a generous an offer...

They., and other pirates like them were made into the Stormguard, a sort of Special forces of Limsa, operating independently. Their job was to observe and report on the goings on of the other nations. Belian resented how things turned out, that the Admiral took away a good portion of his freedom but he excelled at his new role. Years of growing up on the streets made him adept at blending in, not being seen. It was no longer the life he wanted but he was respected, he was still part of something.

They were all out to sea when the Calamity struck, rendering most if not all unharmed.

That all ended in the blink of an eye. Framed for a crime he didn't commit Belian was given a choice, Be exiled and never set foot in his homeland again, condemned for all time as a traitor, or die. In a moment of what he calls weakness Belian bid farewell to the homeland he loved so dearly.

He made his way to the desert city of Ul'dah. Starting over gilless and alone, he took to the only thing he knew, stealing and conning ... Falling in love with a woman he can't have Belian tries to reconcile his past and find some way to try and get everything he wants.
