Character

General

Bloodied Iron is a Roegadyn, of Hellsguard stock. He refers to himself as an adventurer and scholar, though belongs to no formal company at this time. He is currently exploring the world, and has no place of residence save on hills and underneath stars.

Appearance

Bloodied Iron is, for a Roegadun, only a little above average height, standing somewhere around seven feet tall. Like most of his brethren his figure is strong, corded with muscle and scars, his skin a dusky white in color. His hair is dark, bushy and thick, and his eyes are a pale shade of brown. He favors heavy leathers when at work and war, and when in leisure lighter sets of clothing usually of earthen hues. His age is indeterminate, but perhaps somewhere in the mid-twenties to early thirties.

Behavior

Bloodthirsty is an accurate, if unflattering, descriptor. Bloodied Iron believes that life is a great game, a testing of wills between men and beasts, and he loves every minute of it. He comes across a jolly, gregarious man eager to meet all manner of people and experience all the wondrous things the world has to offer. As a self-proclaimed scholar of war, he's eager to talk and philosophize about his trade with any who will listen, and more than happy to demonstrate it. It's quite rare to see him ever genuinely angry or distressed.

History/Timeline

Bloodied Iron served as a soldier in his past, one of the many that guard the gates of hell, the volcano at the edge of the world. He was like his father before him, and his father before. He learned the arts and the tools of war from a young age, and has carried them with him since. Guard duty, however, was not particularly satisfying to him. So, after some consideration, he decided that he would make his way out into the wider world to test his skill against whatever it had to offers.

Since his departure he's attempted some serious scientific study of the world, as well as begun to keep a record of the various monsters within it. He seems content to just wander from hill to hill, slaying beasts and reaping the bounties on their heads.

Combat

Bloodied Iron likes to get down in the thick of combat. He charges and cleaves through his enemies with his massive axe, oftentimes preferring to draw in more than his fare share of targets. He tends to be a very 'act first, think later' kind of combatant.
