History

Growing up in Limsa, Camille was an extroverted child that admired her older siblings immensely and was fiercely loyal to her friend Zarik. She desired to follow in her older brother's footsteps and become a bard, though still holding some interest in aetherial arts after her sister. Her father was an officer in the 'Cudas of Limsa and her mother was a bureaucrat with the arcanists. She enjoyed a cheerful childhood of adventures and music with Zarik. However both her brother and sister was misplaced in the Calamity and her family moved to Gridania for better access to care for her father, who had been wounded at Carteneau.

A little after her 17th namesday Camille met a precocious young miqo'te named R'kyala who had left the deserts of Thanalan to explore the world. They took up the bow and decided to explore the mysteries of Eorzea together while continuing to search for Cam's siblings. The two young women moved to Limsa and have decided to seek a purpose. She has since reunited with her elder sister, though their relationship remains strained."

Valena Verloren – Half-Sister (assumed deceased after the Battle of Carteneau)

Associations

  • Valena Verloren: Cam's older half-sister, though Camille doesn't like to make the distinction. They lacked a relationship due to the great age difference. Valena was moved forward in time from the calamity and returned suddenly into Camille's arms. Though barely recognizing each other, Camille is happy to get to know her sister properly now that they have a new chance. Finds her relationship with the stuttering Montague odd, but is happy to know him as well.
  • Montague Morne: Valena's sudden companion, Camille doesn't understand the oddness between the pair, but is at least friendly to the elezen. She attempts to get him to open up occasionally.
  • R'kyala Mahji: Camille's best friend, the two tend to be fairly inseparable. Camille trusts her implicitly and follows her gregarious friend on her adventures and mysteries. She also relies on her friend to remember new acquaintances' names and to break the ice in conversations.
  • Zarik Sylvora: Camille's childhood best friend. She stumbled across him playing a flute one night and the pair became inseparable for a time. After she moved the two kept up with one another for five years through letters. She has since been reunited with him in Limsa Lominsa much to her delight. She's unsure how to deal with his occasional unease with her now and the little lies he keeps up. Camille remains devoted and trusting of her friend, but feels it's her fault that he ran away. Hasn't seen or heard from him recently.
  • Jayce Sylvora: Zarik's older brother. Cam's feelings for him have moved from idolization as a child to a level of adoration and confusion. Jayce unfortunately works all of the time.
  • Eva Ianeira: Camille and R'kyala fell, literally, into meeting her after mistaking her for the earthly incarnation of Nymeia. Camille respects her and likes to watch her spin.
  • Emily Kamba: Camille admires that someone her age is so accomplished and found a purpose so early.
  • Yashaix Ki'lari: An odd older woman Camille finds fun. They met at the Gala after Ki'lari joined Camille and R'kyala. She likes to send the woman fish and have her along on fishing ventures for company. She considers her a wise friend, but still doesn't truly understand why Ki'lari doesn't want to become closer friends.
  • Garaf Bregaur: Camille met him briefly at Eva's gathering. She finds his projects fascinating and firmly believes the inventor knows everything about mechanical things, thus she likes to listen to him describe his experiments and pester him with questions when no one else is around.
  • Crawa Nerian: A fascinating person to Camille. She doesn't quite understand the nature of her relationship with Garaf and thus treats them like they're siblings. She likes to listen to Crawa and respects her opinion a great deal, especially in regards to Gridania or the healing arts.
  • Hirilonde Turuphant: Camille and R'kyala met Hirilonde while on a fishing trip on the Nym river and, after a short chat, offered him her pearl so he might reconnect with his family more easily. She finds him interesting and enjoys his old fashioned over chivalrous nature.
  • Nel Celestine: Camille respects the older woman and is amazed by her ability to run a business, volunteer, and remain a sane, successful mother.
  • Tyriont Gaidal: The Captain of the Phoenix Pirates who helped Zarik with his lie to Camille about his current position in life. She finds him confusing, intimidating, charming, and irritating.
