Not a superhero, nothing beyond plain and ordinary. What she lacks in physical strength she more than makes up for with a brilliant, sharp mind and an eye for detail. APPEARANCE Short, skinny, somewhat pale and entirely unremarkable. Cassandra is likely to get past most people unnoticed. Some could probably call her cute or pretty, in a natural, simple way. Framed by wheat colored hair, her slight face is adorned with large green eyes which curiously take in her surroundings. PERSONALITY A naturally shy, quiet person, riddled by many insecurities and fears and hiding in a thick introverted shell which she can be hard to coax out of. It can be seen in her posture and body language, heard in the soft, reserved tone of her voice. Easily scared and unsettled, overall quite fragile emotionally. L I K E S ■ Solitude. She has a good eye for minute details, especially when something does grab her attention. ■ Photographic memory. Also seems to memorize the finest details of everything that interests her or impacts her in some way. W E A K N E S S E S ■ Eye for detail, good memory. What is a blessing can also be a curse as the girl is prone to remembering things she would much rather forget, and can often be haunted by them. ■ Selective memory. If something doesn't interest her enough to get her attention properly, it falls in through one ear and falls out the other shortly after. ■ Damaged goods. Having grown in a crowded, poor orphanage; having no memory or knowledge of her family; having never been adopted despite almost being old enough to be sent off to look after herself; not to mention psychological abuse she suffered at the hands of some matrons over the years, and saw other children go through - all that left her emotionally damaged and fragile. As depressing as it sounds, she does her best to smile and convince herself things will be okay, yet she is close to giving up, full of dreams yet void of any perspectives of making them become reality. Right now, motivation is something she desperately needs to find, and can't seem to find it within herself. This character is a lump of clay to be shaped by people she meets and their influence on her. Starting as just a simple teen, grown up in an orphanage without any family, without any perspectives or a place to go, she could become anyone. She could end up in bad company and become a bad person herself, she might be virtuous under right guidance. She could as easily end up a thief, an honest worker or a traveling vagabond. That, my friends, is up to you. Personal RP Limits I'd like to think myself old enough to have seen it all, done it all, and then some as far as roleplay is concerned, and mature enough to keep roleplay firmly apart from reality. For the latter part, I trust people I play with to have a similar mindset. With that in mind, as long as something happens naturally, as a course of decent roleplay, I'm not one to say "Hell no!" and back out of a situation unless it involves some serious character or lore breaking, metagaming, trolling or griefing. Other than that, my hands are off the wheel, and the story goes where the wind blows it. Good times or bad times, it's all character development, and I don't mind seeing what happens to her as long as it makes sense. Mature themes? Don't be shy. If I don't like something, I'll tell you. If Cassie doesn't, she can speak for herself, and if she ends up in a tight spot, she can escape from it. God emote at me, I'll god emote at you and we probably won't get along well in the future. Let's all be reasonable, shall we? RP Style I like realism. Not a realism nazi but I like rp that makes sense. Prefer down to earth rp, not really into god-like, master-of-everything superhero characters. I like flaws, vulnerabilities and weaknesses a lot more. They make people... well... people. CHARACTER TIDBITS Potential Plot Hooks Cassie never left Ul'dah beyond a couple of strolls just beyond the city walls, and as shy as she is she wouldn't really approach strangers - more of a 'Talk if talked to' kind of girl. She also usually makes effort to stay out of everyone's way and get by without drawing attention, more content with her imagination for company. Saying that, she could have been spotted in or around an orphanage in the poorer parts of Ul'dah, often with a simple backpack slung over her shoulder and sometimes a book in her hand. She could also be seen in any and all of the city's libraries that aren't reserved for the 'privileged people', usually hanging about shelves packed full of novels and sometimes history books. Libraries are also where she would have been most approachable, sometimes hiding titles of novels she read in embarrassment if caught with paperback romance in her hand. She would have been quiet and polite to anyone that approached, showing signs of insecurity. Character Lore Adherence Strict within my knowledge of lore. If I get lore wrong, I appreciate advice. Also, prefer to rp with people who respect lore.
