Hair & Eyes Bordering on slightly unsettling, Chiana's hair and eyes are completely devoid of any color and are now a pure white. She was not born this way, and rejected the change when it was originally forced upon her, but now she embraces it as just another quirk. Plus, it helps keep the fearful and religious folks away. Physique & Markings The Au Ra is, for lack of a better word... Tiny. She was the runt of the litter, so to speak, and turned out to be only 4 foot 11 inches tall. She is very lithe and petite, almost annoyingly so and avoids people's pokes and prods with ease (until you get her in an actual battle, then the bratling can't dodge for crap). Her entire body is covered in tiny little scars from head to toe except for her hands and her face, and if one looks at her with any aether there is a slight shimmer to them. Upon first glance, the very first thing you will notice is the amount of bruises along the girl's face. Chi very often gets into fights and its very obvious. Her girlfriend heals her after the fight, but sometimes she will make Khor leave the bruises 'as a reminder', as Chi puts it. On the rare days Chi doesn't have any markings on her face her skin is remarkably clear and almost translucent with how pale it is. Hygiene & Attire There used to be a point in Chi's life where she did not have the facilities to keep up with bathing. As such, she does not take it for granted. She will bathe any chance she gets and prefers to remain clean if she can help it. That doesn't mean, however, that she wont get down and dirty if the situation calls for it. She isn't afraid of getting dirty and will gladly dunk herself in mud if needed as long as its to dunk someone else in there first. She will just require a bath afterwards, and a fresh pair of clothes. Personality Psychological Profile At first glance, Chiana may look like a typical teenager what with being so small and bubbly. That is just the way she presents herself to random folk passing by. A closer glance will show she is older then one may think, and that she is far more intimidating then just a normal teenager. Because of a horrific past, her mind has been slightly broken and as such doesn't understand social queues very well. She tries her best to retain her bright, bubbly, and innocent facad to everyone around her, and only shows the true madness to those she trusts the most. Gaining her trust requires a lot of patience as the persecution she's endured has made her flighty and cautious. First meeting her though, you wouldn't believe that. She presents herself as very cheerful and hyperactive, almost as if you were talking to a very curious 5 year old. Do not mistake that as her being stupid or immature. She watches everything and takes note of it all. Voice Despite a very slight rasp, her voice is very light and has almost a rhythmic chime to it. She has very noticeably done her best to remove the country tick out of her voice, but sometimes will slip back into it. When she gets really excited about something, which is happens more often then she would like to admit, her speech speeds up into almost unintelligible words. It makes conversing with her rather difficult sometimes, as she constantly asks questions without leaving time for the other person to answer them. Philosophy & Mannerisms Chiana's outlook on life has been severely skewed. Part of her wants to let go and do what she wants when she wants wherever she wants. The other half recognizes that in order to be a part of society and be around people she has to conform to laws and people's "expectations". Most of the time, she will contain herself and conform as well she can. When she gets frustrated or angry though, her restraint loosens and she reverts to her "Do what I want" attitude. Despite this, she believes people deserve to be protected (especially against her) and will always fight for the underdog when she can. When it comes to mannerisms, Chiana really is just like a little kid. She's bouncy and hyperactive, and wont hesitate to ask questions if something sparks her interest. Also, she is extremely easy to distract. Just wave something shiny in her face and all thoughts instantly turn to the shiny. Most often, the best way to get her to go a certain direction if you really need to move her somewhere is to throw a gil or two whichever way you want her to go, or dangle the gil in front of her like a carrot on a stick. She is also extremely protective of those she calls her friend and is highly willing to go the extra mile to make sure whoever is hurting them stops not only in that moment, but in the future as well. She views friend as her family and will do whatever is necessary to make sure they are safe. Her angry glower has made grown men pee their pants and run in fear. Perhaps it has something to do with the corruption in her... Combat Abilities ● She doesn't have any special moves or abilities for combat. When forced into conflict, she will use brute force to push her way to victory and has no trouble exhausting herself to win. She may have to resort to using the corruption in a fight, but that only doubles her strength and speed. Other then those two advantages, Chi depends on her endurance and desire to never give up or give in to help her win a fight. OOC Note When it comes to combat, Chiana tries to find any other rout then physical conflict. She would rather intimidate or bluff her way out of a situation. When it comes to unavoidable combat, she will (as stated) use absolute brute force to ensure a win. Chi also doesn't realize it, but her tendency to rely on her corruption when things are going wrong are going to be her undoing. Over time its going to be harder and harder for her to come out of the corruption 'trance' she goes into. Eventually, its going to be damned near impossible until one day she wont be able to escape it and will then fall into being full voidsent. To keep track of this, I have given myself a set number of times for it to happen before she is lost. The starting number was arbitrarily chosen so as not to seem as if she's starting from the beginning. At the moment, that number is at 72. This is out of 100.

History "Just because we check the guns at the door doesn't mean our brains will change from hand grenades" Disclaimer: Unless it comes to voidsent and corruption and fighting/danger, Chiana really is as innocent as she acts. She has not had much time or opportunity in her life to learn very much. Her brothers were overprotective, and the voidsent didn't leave much time for her to be a child. There are a lot of things that she hasn't even thought about. Relationships, for example, are one of them. She's never had one and wouldn't know what to do about it if the opportunity presented itself. That being said, she wouldn't be opposed to learning if the right person came along to teach her. There will be lots of little moments of her learning how to, well, live a normal life. Please be patient with her! Sixth Astral Era Childhood Chiana grew up in a small fishing village near the very end of the Sixth Astral Era. She had 9 older brothers that constantly protected her and kept her from trouble. As such, she was a very innocent naive girl. One day, out on the waters alone in her little boat as she was gathering the edge of the net they had cast out earlier that day, she unknowingly met a Voidsent. She had no idea who or what this creature was, and was very unaware of just how close she came to death that day. This voidsent though, being locked in the water and wanting his chaos on land, didn’t kill the helpless child beaming up at him asking for his name. Instead, he fed his corrupted magic into the poor child, triggering her very small ability to use magic. Her village detested voidsent and anything corrupted by it. They had been devastated by one before, and would not hesitate to wipe clean any trace of it. Her eldest brother smuggled her out of their little village and sent her on her way at 15 years of age when he spotted her practicing her dark magicks one day. Ever since leaving her village, she has yet to see her family and still wonders how they have survived thus far. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood A scant year after her departure, she had yet another run in with the same voidsent who, being extremely angry and disappointed by her extreme lack of death and destruction, shoved enough corruption into her to leave her hair and eyes completely devoid of all color. He then spent weeks torturing her, breaking her mind so she would bend to his will. Upon being released, Chiana was a weapon of pure destruction. She started her life among the black arts, throwing fire and chaos wherever she went. She spent two years as a force of destruction before a chance meeting with a friend she has long lost contact with woke her conscious and ended her reign of terror. The memories of what she has done and what has been done to her have broken her mind and left her a skittish mess, and now strives to protect those she once would have killed. She tries her best to be happy and cheerful and ignore the voice deep inside to maim and destroy. In Recent Times Moving Forward Having recently come back to herself as much as she can, she has come to where other magic uses congregate, hoping to find a magic user strong enough to remove the corruption from her. She knows saying outright what she’s looking for would be deadly and she would be killed instantly. So she plays a dangerous game of trying to find said person and befriend them enough to trust them as much as they trust her. To pass the time until she finds that person, she spends her time healing now to make up for the destruction she has caused. She knows it will never make up for the lives she has taken, but she will do her best for the rest of her life.

RP Limits I like to consider myself a flexible player who is willing to commit to a number of different types of scenes and role-play scenarios, but even I have my limits. If something is on the play list, assume it means yes, as long as it's within the context of the current play or ongoing plot. No's are typically a hard no, and it means don't ask. ■ Acceptable There are a lot of things i'm very open to. For the most part, you can /tell me and give me a scenario and I'll likely respond excitedly with a yes! Just please send me a /tell first to make sure I'm available to RP. If you're a voidsent hunter and want someone to hunt, please let me know. I'm very open to this and would enjoy a little bit of conflict in Chi's life. I'm also very open to fighting that ends with Chi very beaten and bloody, as that is expected of her situation. Chi very much expects to run into a lot of people looking to kill her, and knows her path is going to be filled with a lot of pain before she reaches the end of all this. ■ Ask about The dark and rated R. I'm open to the darker side of roleplaying, but you need to have a really good reason for going this far when you message me. I'm open to ERP if it happens as part of a long storyline, but Chiana doesn't just sleep around. It would take a long time roleplay to get into a relationship before that would even become an option. ■ Absolute No There are a lot of things I will do, but I have to draw the line somewhere. The only thing I really would have to say no to is permanent death. I don't mind temporary death, but perma-death is a No-Go. Its probably the eyes... ■ Chiana may have experience as an adventurer, but when it comes to mundane every day things, she just doesn't understand and can be found rather awkwardly trying to understand either some technology, or some sort of societal norm. Sometimes that may be as simple as recognizing personal boundaries, or sometimes its as dangerous as getting someone important upset at her lack of 'respect'. ■ Sometimes Chi will end up in a back ally standing up for someone. Mostly against thugs trying to rob the poor person blind. She will stop them in their tracks, and beat some sense into them. Sometimes that means leaving an anonymous tip for the city menders of where their body is so they can save the poor person's life. Sometimes, Chiana overestimates her abilities and gets in way over her head. ■ Because of her shenanigans in the alleyways and seedy parts of Ul'Dah, Chiana has a reputation amongst the less savory of the citizens. She regularly beats up those on the bottom of the crime's totem pole and has probably caused quite the drop in the pockets of those higher up. She has heard several nicknames for herself, but the most notable at this point is "Tiny Terror", which leaves Chiana in a giggle-fit every time she hears it.
