- ■ Spirituality/Religion – Turned against both his original patron goddess and the Dravanian forces that rallied around Saint Shiva, Claisent has eschewed all religious faith, viewing it as either a crutch for the weak-willed or a tool of oppression and manipulation.
Some of these rumors are untrue, speculation, or are greatly exaggerated. Please feel free to add your own rumors under the Player Character category!
Nailah Quill ( ♦ ● ✔ ) - Boss
Claisent's employer, owner of the Kindred and head of its council of governing members. While they get along cordially enough, and he's been privy to confessions regarding her past that he has the feeling she's shared very sparingly, he doesn't feel he knows her well enough to consider her a friend.
Cirina Malqir ( ♦ ● ✔ ) - Ciri
A member of the Kindred council. Claisent has fought beside Cirina, enjoyed a number of fascinating and hilarious conversations with her, and considers her a friend whom he can confide in.
Sarangerel Kahkol ( ♦ ● ✔ ) - Saran
A fellow of the company, Cirina's wife, and one of Claisent's two instructors in the arts of the Dark Knight. A formidable woman in whom he has confided deeply, she has earned Claisent's admiration and respect, and he will gladly raise his sword for her whenever she should have need of it.
W'gahr Lupercal ( ♦ ● ✔ ) - Luper
Kindred councillor, self-proclaimed overlord of the Loft, and generally a friendly sort. Claisent finds himself at ease around the Seeker, and has come to respect his firm yet level-headed applications of his authority.
Aliandrielle Naveleal ( ♦ ✔ ) - Alia
Clai's relationship with Alia is a confusing one. His first interaction with her was as a target for her hatred for their kind, though she warmed to him over time. After a time of incredible tension and mutual disdain, he's settled into a cordial respect for her, though her mannerisms still grate on him at times.
O'ray Tia ( ♦ ● ✔ ) - Ray
While he can enjoy tbe company of this happy-go-lucky scoundrel, Claisent maintains a level of caution around Ray. Whether the Seeker can be fully trusted remains to be seen.
Maariya Genhu ( ♦ ● ✔ )
A trained Free Paladin, aspiring to join the ranks of the Sultansworn. Though he can see she's well-intentioned, Clai's estimations of Maariya have been somewhat soured by her expression of disdain for the Darkness; a disdain he's done nothing to earn, he thinks, considering he has no choice but to take up the art and learn to control it.
Kosetsu Kensei ( ♦ ● ✔ )
The second of Claisent's instructors in the dark arts, this Raen is an enigma wrapped in a mystery. Utterly devoid of emotional expression - devoid of personality, even, beyond her stoic dedication to her duty - she's awkward to converse with at the best of times. Clai is content to maintain a cordial working relationship with her, and benefit from her training, though he doubts he'll ever be able to call her a friend.
Ranic Iriq ( ● ♠ ✔ )
Claisent will all but declare verbally that he can't stand the brutish Xaela. His deep disdain for Ranic is tempered only by his ability to get along with Alia and Cirina, Ranic's lover and closest friend respectively. He's willing to trust Cirina's word that Ranic's open dislike of him, his opinion that Claisent's lack of control over the Darkness makes him a danger to the company, is merely a roundabout way to contribute to his training by motivating him to rise above Ranic's expectations and silence his doubts. Just for the satisfaction of shutting him up, Clai intends to do exactly that.
Mauh'a Relenah ( ♦ ● ✔ ) - Mauh
This Keeper mage is a troubled soul who's experienced a great deal of loss. Having lent his sword to Mauh's revenge, and fought beside him on occasions afterwards, Clai has come to respect Mauh and enjoy his company.

OOC Notes ✚ Links
❇ Hi there! I got my start in roleplaying on play-by-post forums, and have been doing so for approximately ten years. My MMO roleplay experience includes RIFT, Guild Wars 2, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Star Wars: The Old Republic.
❇ Regarding combat: I have an abundance of experience with roll-based systems, but I much prefer freeform combat.
❇ Regarding romance: While fairly promiscuous, Claisent is no stranger to romantic involvement; however, his first and last ended in a mess of bloodshed and heartbreak, and he's thus deeply withdrawn from the idea. I have always required that I be able to get along with the players of PCs with whom my characters become romantically involved, and that the relationship develops naturally rather than being forced for its own sake.
