Ethan Gilmore

Sir Ethan Gilmore, Head of the Delphian Drifter, a cozy emporium where minds roam free; known for it's ability to fulfill desires beyond comprehension. The business is usually centered around importing the abnormal and strange to peak the interest of many nobles alike.
All that is, of course, but the peak of the mountain; the real business lies underneath that shell. Smuggling, bribing, the occasional scam and theft. The Hyur draws a strict line when it comes to murder and prefers none be harmed however, thus his operations are ratherly ever publicized; pray tell, is it that he doesn't want the heat or mayhaps there be some compassion behind that overconfident demeanor? He was born in Limsa 29 years ago and quickly grew bored off how narrow-minded his fellow rogues were and decided to turn for greater things. The young Gilmore grew fond of art; be it in form of music, paintings or literature. His preference always lied in singing however, but it became but a meager hobby as his talent for magic became apparent and his father demanded he started studying the craft; it took the stubborn lad a few attempts to become interested, but it did happen. Years went by before he established himself as a great merchant in Ul'dah, but his silver tongue did him good. With his former questionable contact in Limsa, his talent for magic and his general demeanor to be enticing and entertaining, the Syndicate contacted him in his early twenties. He was later ‘offered’ an opportunity to join the Mafia and became a mafioso. He was granted the alias ‘Beguile’ due to the multiple meanings of the word; to deceive and to charm - for that became his must notable functions.
Ethan's features projects a fairly foreign look, not just due to his almond skin tone, but the overall prominent nature of them. His long raven black locks is usually tied into a bun, but he let’s it hang freely every now and again. It glistens in the sun, giving off the impression he is a man of some wealth. If that wasn’t enough, the scent of newly picked lavender always seems to follow him, most certainly due to some cologne.
His nose is somewhat sizeable and elongates a bit more than the average, making it one of his most outstanding features. Another niece detail is his thin eyebrows that hints he picks them every so often. His cheek bones are high and his cheeks slightly hollowed and just beneath, his well kept trimmed beard takes form. His skin is smooth and like his hair reflects a faint bit of light of it’s surface, effectively making it seem softer, yet another indication of his wealth. His lips are full with the lower lip being slightly thicker than the upper; additionally his lips almost always slightly parted and a vague smirk pulls into a sly sneer. His jawline is defined and distinguishes his face away from his more strikingly neck with relative ease.
On his right shoulder a large peacock with it’s alluring tail covers most of his bicep, as well as the shoulder as a whole. The attention to detail of this piece is almost scary, making it jut out as if it was really there. The body of the birds is drawn on the upper arm but begins with it’s anisodactyl feet on his biceps. It’s elegant tail creeps to his the right side of his back, as well as all the way up his neck, but comes to a halt just under his right ear. From under the peacock, a snake curls it’s way down his forearm all the way to his hand. It comes to a stop with the head illustrated under the knuckles. Between the sun and this huge tail of the peacock, right in the middle of his upper back in fact, an all seeing eye stares aimlessly forward. It’s portrayed in a triangle within a triangle; under these a reverted triangle comes down to a point just over his buttocks. Additionally, Ethan's right ear is adorned with fine golden jewelry. A helix piercing has a golden ornament wrap itself around his ear, much like a serpent, and joins to a transverse lobe with a chain between all three studs; each end of these has a modest yet superb diamond socketed into their ends. His right brow as a small, yet thick, golden segment ring as well.Aspects That Stand Out:
