Hair & Eyes
Fhylie's hair is bright yellow and feathery, like a baby chocobo's. She seems to take great care with it despite its short, wavy cut, and it generally shines brightly in whatever light she finds herself. A very close inspection will reveal that it is, in fact, literally feathery. The Sea Wolf's eyes are a bright stormy blue, and commonly either lidded in calm amusement or crinkled at the edges with suppressed laughter. She only ever fully opens her eyes to a normal level when seeing something interesting, or if she feels legitimately threatened by something.
Physique & Markings
Most roegadyn are solidly built, layers of muscle on a wide frame built for brawling or carving things out of the earth. Fhylie is... not. She definitely has the excessive height of her forebears on both sides of the family at just a couple of ilms shy of eight fulms, but her build is, if not spindly, lightly muscled at best. Her actual level of athleticism is better described as lithe, although her fondness for easy living has certainly given her a soft layer around the muscles that do show. She is also excessively light for her considerable size, a trait she commonly attributes half-jokingly to 'bird bones'.

As for markings, the singer favours only a light blush makeup and stays away from heavy tones. She also has a decidedly un-Limsan aversion for tattoos and piercings n places other than the ears. Designs and patterns across her clothing, however, run rampant, whether painted or embroidered.
Hygiene & Attire
Fhylie prefers being clean, and if spending time in civilization, almost always keeps to the ancestral Sea Wolf wisdom that keeping oneself washed drives away sickness. Prior to her recent excursions away from Vylbrand and joining an Ul'dahn free company, she stayed completely away from personal scents, but under the influence, or perhaps in emulation, of recent companions, she has taken to lavender or spiced scents.

As for her attire, the roegadyn has as many outfits as days in the moon. She professes to love fashion, but sometimes dresses in absolute disasters 'as a joke', which she clearly enjoys unironically, as long as it's flashy, frilled, and fancy. Most common observations from her friends are her wide, feathered chapeau, her favoured single pant leg, long thighboots, and excessive jewellery up to the elbows. Whether sporting loose sleeves to hide things in or tight shirts to ensure mobility, she always makes sure her outfits draw attention to what she considers her best assets: her chest, her face, and her height. The exception to these habits are what Fhylie considers her 'work' clothes, which tend to be tight, dark material, solid boots, and numerous pouches filled with tools. Her recent prized addition to this outfit is a custom-tooled set of leather gauntlets going up past the elbow that are filled to the brim with high quality picks, needles, hammers, wrenches, and other whirligigs best designed for opening things that don't wish to be opened.
Personality
Psychological Profile
Fhylie loves nothing more than proving herself smarter or cleverer than anything else in the room. This takes the form of communicating in double-speak, riddles, jibes, and half-truths, excessively so to those she doesn't trust or isn't friends with. Around friends, she relaxes a little more, but never fully. At heart she is a worrier, always watching out for signs that people are out to get her somehow, especially if she feels her control over a conversation or situation is going awry. The singer would scoff if you told her that she was motivated by the approval of others, however.
Voice
Fhylie's normal, natural voice is a lowish, pleasing contralto with a fairly hard dockside lilt. Years of voice training and her natural (and supernatural) talents have given her voice an incredible vocal range, which she uses and abuses in both music and mimicry. Given practice and some frequent example, she has shown herself talented in adopting the vocal mannerisms of those around her to the extent that many besides the speaker themselves might be fooled.

When she sings, her focus on her art is extremely clear, able to loudly belt out almost any note one could conceive of without the hint of tremulo. Once she publically boasted a six octave vocal range, and upon being told that was unlikely or impossible, Fhylie merely spread her hands wide and admitted she has never tried to find the limits of her range, really, and agreed to define it simply as 'pluperfect ambitus', which means absolutely nothing to most people. One thing about her boasts is fairly certain, though, and that is that nearly without fail when she sings, Fhylie is surrounded by a strange, swirling cloud of aether that is clearly doing something, though most would struggle to define exactly what.
Philosophy & Mannerisms
The most important thing to Fhylie is knowledge. This takes the form of trying to figure out every secret she possibly can about people she interacts with regularly (which usually invites some indignation), but more positively also drives her towards self-education, especially in musical arts and subtle aether manipulation. She considers herself fairly intelligent in many fields, but only an expert in her personal interests. Still, she likes knowing enough about a subject in order to carry on a conversation, and can be annoyingly dogged when pursuing experts of a new chosen interest.

Fhylie has a number of seemingly involuntary 'tells' that show her mood. She taps her index finger on her lips and focuses her gaze sharply when considering someone, or tilts her head while quickly scrawling down something of interest. All too often, she grins very widely when she thinks something she has said is quite clever, maybe prompting those around her to think about things and get the joke or reference. The singer is absolutely convinced of the clearly flawed idea that a clever put-down is a good thing because it's clever, where most people will just hear the put-down.

Non-Combat Abilities
Siren Song: Aetheric mesmerism through song. Works less well against the strong-willed or those with the Echo.
Glamourcraft: The creation and persistence of glamours, whether on or of objects, people, or areas.
Sneak: Through combination of glamourcraft, technical know-how, and siren song if needed, Fhylie is unusually good at going unnoticed when she wants to.
Fast Fambles: From parlour tricks to outright theft.
Underworld Contacts: Her exposure to street life has given Fhylie fairly good contacts in both the Lominsan and Ul'dahn criminal scenes.
Tools of the Trade: Access to a wide array of alchemical powders and liquids with adverse affects on spoken and beasts.
Combat Abilities
Knife in the Dark: Fhylie is not built for a toe-to-toe brawl, but is educated and practiced enough to know where on the body to strike that an unaware target is guaranteed an unpleasant time.
Extremely Long Bow: While she is not an awe-inspiring archer, Fhylie is fairly proficient, and owns a pulleyed and scoped bow with a draw lock that she uses to offset her less than impressive muscles.
OOC Note
I don't usually do combat-based RP, and generally, when up against players that do make it their focus, Fhylie is going to lose, run away, or debilitate her opponent. As far as alternate systems go, the D&D5E 'glamour' bard is a decent approximation of Fhylie's general abilities, but what I take my actual inspiration from is a combination of spy novels and Celtic folktales about what bards were capable of mythologically. The siren tie-in is absolutely not an intent to in-character godmode; that kind of RP is annoying, and I've been careful to have the caveat of 'players aren't affected by it if they don't want to be'. Instead, it's meant to be more of a tool to use as insight into Fhylie's own particular psychology and the way she treats minor NPCs.

History
.
Disclaimer: As stated elsewhere, Fhylie's siren abilities are not public knowledge. She only tells her friends and free company mates, on the understanding that opening their mouth is extremely dangerous for her for many reasons. Otherwise, Fhylie will absolutely tell people a version of her history.
Sixth Astral Era
Childhood
Fhiliht grew up fairly happy, the treasured only daughter and fifth child of a fisherman and an educated woman taking relative shelter in the peacefulness of the Cieldalaes, away from the bustle of the city and the arguments of pirate captains. Her mother, Unsynlona, took great care to instill a love of music and learning in her daughter, whereas her father merely gruffly traded sea goods as little as possible with Limsa Lominsa. Fhiliht continually pestered her father, the eponymous Merlhaemr, as well as her brothers, to take her to the city, but was continually refused, with her mother attempting to convince her that the mainland was no place for her. Finally, shortly after her thirteenth birthday, her father took her on a quiet boat ride to the Navigator's Veil. It was the time of her life, until he left her in the crowds and departed the city without her.

Abandoned to the mercy of the street in a haven for pirates and brawlers, however well the Maelstrom might have alleged they had been reformed, Fhylie took to stealing what she could to survive, until she was caught in the act by a group she only knew as the Upright. Rather than turning her in or selling her to the highest bidder, the Upright simply told her what to do better. Over the next turn and through the Calamity, the Upright fell apart, reformed, were gaoled and released, but over time, the sea wolf was effectively grandfathered into the organization that succeeded the Upright: The Dutiful Sisters of the Edelweiss. But before that, Eorzea was struck by a meteor, which Fhylie and the Upright merely watched from the shadows of the port town, uncharacteristically taking advantage of the lessened Maelstrom presence to line their pockets.
Seventh Umbral Era
Adulthood
Following the immense changes to the realm following the battle at Carteneau, there were great disagreements in the Upright Thieves about the future of the organization. While the group squabbled inwardly and slowly diminished, Fhylie took her small share of the take and sought real shelter elsewhere. Being not much more than a child, and not feeling any particular loyalty to a fanciful gang of thugs, Fhylie had made few friends, and simply kept to the tasks assigned her, spending the rest of her time otherwise occupied by vaguely learning to pilot a boat without any real guidance. Remembering her mother's love of books, Fhylie weaseled her way into Mealvaan's Gate through a combination of coercion of an Upright-sympathetic assessor and her own wits, and proceeded to stumble her way through a proper education.

However, the life of an academician was not for her. Unsynlona's understanding of the way aether was to be handled was wildly different than the formulaic, mathematicized methods of the arcanists. Inwardly desperate to forge some kind of link to her past, Fhylie attempted to present a treatise to the guild about her mother's methods of using music, with its loose mathematical rules and focus on artistic impression, rather than geometric shapes, to channel aether, translated as best as the young student could with her limited understanding of arcanima. It was, unfortunately for her, regarded as inarticulate, non-functional garbage and she was flatly told to give up this approach and focus on learning the proper way to do things. Realizing that again, the roegadyn had made few friends and no allies, Fhylie resolved to leave the isle of Vylbrand entirely, putting as much distance between herself and the family that inexplicably no longer wanted her as possible.

Fhylie's travels slowly took her to Thanalan and Ul'dah, and while she hated the dry climate, she found a bizarre kind of freedom in the way its society allowed her to drink and gamble and steal without much consequence, if she didn't take too much or show off too visibly. In fact, to her, Ul'dahn society seemed to reward cleverness, if anything, as well as the ability to not get caught when clearly doing something heinous. When money ran dry and she was unable to steal, she took jobs as a day labourer -- the mining concerns building rails continually seemed under the impression that any roegadyn was a sturdy, hard worker. Throughout this, Fhylie would go over her journal of her mother's teachings, trying again and again to bridge the gap in understanding. She was, in her own mind, merely a misunderstood genius, waiting for that moment when everything would crystallize into sense.

They did crystallize, if not in the way she desired. On an overcast day when Fhylie was skipping out on rail work to sing, a foreman came to collect her, as if she was a truant. Money was owed, the foreman explained. The mine owners would have their due from her, one way or another. This was the way, in Ul'dah, when one sold their body, whichever way it was sold. Furious at this, and still holding aether in herself from her singing practice, she demanded he leave her alone, at which he oddly complied. Fhylie realized that she had used aether to compel him in some way, and that this was the breakthrough she had needed. She quickly hatched a plan to use the foreman for his coinpurse, and proceeded to all but beggar him in payment for some few martial lessons to expand on her skill with knives, as well as some gear. Adventuring was all the rage, she understood, and being able to use her powers to stand behind mighty heroes to bask in the benefits of their fame would surely be a better source of money than alleyside dice games and extorting washed up highlanders bent on exploiting their fellow exiles.
In Recent Times
Moving Forward
So it was that Fhylie whimsically chose The Adventure League of Eorzea as her third free company, the other groups being just as full of fractious, lazy blowhards as Fhylie was herself. TALE seemed to be better run for the most part, with a cast of down on their luck members willing to put in the time and effort to make the whole enterprise run, and it was attractive to her that the official leader itself was on some kind of long sabbatical. She would take whatever she could from them and move on, just like the last few, she told herself.
It didn't work out that way. A plan to extricate herself in weeks became moons, and moons became turns, and she found herself realizing that she actually liked these people. Fhylie found herself becoming embroiled in their weird adventures involving possessed dolls, or prankster ghosts, or demons hiding in the free company headquarters that really just wanted to hang out with non-demons because they weren't all that much into that violence thing after all, which is a bit of a career hindrance if you are a demon. After some time, the roegadyn even showed the free company what she could do with her siren song, which some few of them definitely found to be unnerving due to the unfortunate proximity of another issue involving tempering, but Fhylie was not run out of town, nor was she kicked out of the company. She was, in fact, allowed to pursue her research, as long as it didn't create too much public trouble.
Trouble, of course, does tend to come eventually. As she began to get more confident with her abilities and accompanied her new friends on various adventures, Fhylie ranged out further from Thanalan, and eventually returned to Vylbrand on her own, convinced that her new persona of an adventurer would safeguard her from her past. She went out of her way to directly contact the replacements of the Upright Thieves, to let them know she was still a friendly face and could carry missives to similar individuals in Thanalan if needed, which was met with somewhat lukewarm enthusiasm, since the Dutiful Sisters were a more traditional group, bent on enforcing the old Code of Admirals from days long gone, and thus not too interested in underworld connections to a desert save where it granted them information. Still, it was better than being their enemy. A visit to Mealvaan's Gate was less satisfactory; her notes on aetheric transfers were still regarded as worthless, mostly because she had abandoned her education. After a brief consideration of using her siren song to convince the academy, Fhylie decided that these rejections meant she should just keep her genius discoveries secret from them.

Family
Unsynlona: Fhylie is not on good terms with her mother at all. While she knows her parents hid her in Limsa Lominsa so that Wyznzirn wouldn't kidnap her, she still doesn't have good feelings about being abandoned as a child, and sees her parents' actions as them leaving her in order to escape with their own lives. It counts a small amount that her mother tried to save Fhylie while still under the siren's control, but only a small amount.
Merlhaemr: Fhylie's father gets a little bit more of a pass, since she sees him as more of a victim of Unsynlona and Wyznzirn's siren powers. Still doesn't forgive him entirely, though.
Acquaintances
Aedida Aldricht: Fhylie can fondly recall the first time she truly interacted with Aedida, and subsequently proceeded to get the better of her in a subsequent battle of wits the hyur didn't even know she was playing. Since then, their sometimes heated back and forth has included magical dolls, prison time, crystal rituals, explosions, pie fights, light poisonings, and more. Fhylie wouldn't trade Aedida for anything Hydaelyn could offer, and has been at times foolishly devoted to the little alchemist, regardless of what kind of trouble is brewing.
Aveline Blue: Fhylie joined Aveline's free company by accident during a time while the boss was on vacation sailing the sea. By the time Aveline returned, the sea wolf had insinuated herself into company business rather securely, which turned out to be rather all right with the miqo'te, apparently. Fhylie admires Aveline for her forthrightness, her aptitude with all manners of gear and magitek, and for her propensity for trouble. The wide leash on Fhylie's extra-company activities doesn't hurt, either. In the company of their mutual friend Aedida, Fhylie has referred to the trio as 'witches three' and 'an explosion waiting to happen', but in which form?
Missy Solara: Earlier in their friendship at some point, Missy placed her hand on Fhylie's shoulder and judged the two of them to be the 'innocent blondes gang', of which opinion Fhylie found hilarious and chose not to disabuse the other young woman of. Missy, for her part, is possibly the nicest spoken Fhylie has ever encountered, in every way possible, to the extent that was mystifying to Fhylie that the highlander can even get along in society without being taken for a ride. This lasted until about thirty seconds into being anywhere dangerous with Missy, wherein the innocent young blonde handily pummeled their opponent into unconsciousness with a childlike 'Yayyyy!'. Missy is also a fairly respectable conjurer and has some creepy aether business about her that Fhylie has not yet pinned down, causing the roegadyn to internally think of the two of them as the 'creepy aether blondes gang' instead.

Farah Dahlgren: A long-time TALE member, wilderness survivalist, and Missy's niece who is older than her thanks to complicated family relations slash time shenanigans, Farah, to Fhylie, is the other reason why society will never mess with Missy. Farah is loud, domineering, dominating, aggressive, deadly, and reckless even by Fhylie's standards, and carries a large blade which the angry highlander says is also a dragon. Fhylie has chosen to believe her. Farah continually bemoans being saddled with Fhylie and vocally dreads the singer's quips and commentary, but usually returns fire with her own verbal jabs. Nevertheless, the two of them get along just swimmingly when the chips are down.
Rhoe Tennak: A mutual friend through Missy and Farah, Rhoe is a quiet, driven intellectual of a miqo'te, the cautious hand keeping Missy's excitability and Farah's recklessness in hand. Except sometimes she doesn't, and the lot of them get into incredible trouble and even begrudgingly need to ask for Fhylie's help to make sure the entire south of Thanalan is not subsumed into creeping void blackness, so, you're welcome for that. Rhoe has an intense predilection for the colour purple, an impressive command of both literature and explosions, and a much-needed voice of reason in their motley gang of troublemakers. Recently, Fhylie suggested that she and Rhoe are the brains of the operation, whatever that operation is, and Rhoe was horrified to realize the roegadyn was correct.
Hestia de Bayle: Met by happenstance through a friend, Fhylie has attended a few warm and cozy gatherings of the knightly and genteel at Dawn Vigil, the de Bayle family's inappropriately named (to Fhylie's eyes) house outside of Gridania. At first judging the lot of them to be nothing more than the usual hoity-toity Ishgardians striving to associate themselves with the nobility, Fhylie made off with a portion of Hestia's cutlery and dishware with the intent to sell it, but found herself unable to bring herself to do so, eventually returning the ill-gotten goods and citing the Rogue's Code that she not steal from her own 'crew' (though Hestia is not even remotely Lominsan). Strangely, she found Hestia incredibly forgiving, and now the two of them have a sort of teacher-student relationship based on the Ishgardian's desire to learn about the ancient Sea Wolf tongue.
Former Acquaintances
Hollow Thorn: Fhylie's hellsguard friend, apparently left to pursue being a Hearer, although Fhylie can't be sure of that.
Deceased
Tyriont Gaidal: As a card-carrying privateer of the Rhotano and lover of personal freedoms, Tyriont seemed to have detested everything Fhylie stood for ever since she revealed her siren ancestry to him. Unfortunately, the roegadyn appeared to be best friends and secret confidants with his fiancee, Aedida, saving and being saved by both of them multiple times, though Tyriont would probably never have admitted it and might have threatened to shoot Fhylie again if she brought it up, or the subject of why they aren't best friends, or whether she could have joined his pirate crew. As best as she can determine, Tyriont was lost at sea some time ago.
Rumors
NPC Rumors

Some of these rumors are untrue, speculation, or are greatly exaggerated.

◢ Common Rumors - Easily overheard. Use these freely!
"When I asked her what her name was, she said it was Fhiliht, and I said it back to her the same way, but then she got annoyed and said it was pronounced Fhiliht. I... don't get it..." — Confused Cutler.
"She shows off too much. I'm speaking of both her sinful style of dress and her mannerisms. Look at her, flouncing around, revelling in the eyes on her. The Fury should sort that one out, she should." — Disapproving Doxy.
◢ Uncommon Rumors - A little more difficult to hear. Use sparingly or ask first!
"The tall girl? That's Fhylie, aye. Voice to make the Twelve weep an' fingers that dance across any instrument she holds, but I've never heard her do a show for more than a few at a time. Why is that, do you think?" — Suspicious Senior.
"Fhiliht Merlhaemrwyn? Aye, she's known t'us. Petty crimes, mostly. Swindles, con games, very rarely allegations o' outright theft. Problem is, we can never seem 'get 'er accusers t'stand against 'er an' actually do any accusin' f'r long. She's got t'be leanin' on them in some way, but we've never seen 'er do a damned thing." — Yokelish Yellowjacket.
◢ Rare Rumors - Very rarely overheard. Please ask before using!
"I'll confirm she's one of ours. Why, do you need a package delivered?" — V'kebbe the Stray.
"I saw it, I tell you. A misty mornin' in Moraby, and I chanced to peek at a small skiff pushin' quietly out to sea with a tall, yellow haired stranger aboard. She sang into the sail and it filled with a hidden breeze, but that's not the disconcertin' point. I've heard a voice like that before, see, on the western seas, where ships were drowned before Mistbeard's curse drove them away. Sirens. A siren, but it looked like a wench. That skiff never came back." — Hezzkhezl, maker of ships.

Location & Probability
Places where the character is very likely to be seen
Limsa Lominsa: Very likely. A rogue needs a home.
The Goblet: Good chance. The desert is awful, but her friends are there.
Gyr Abania: Unlikely. Nothing to accomplish now that the Empire is out.
Othard: Possible! A new land full of riches and rubes.
Affiliations
Most of these aren’t public, and would have to be asked after!
Dutiful Sisters of the Edelweiss: An auxiliary member trusted with parcel deliveries. Good resources and sensible speakers.
The Maelstrom: Only ostensibly, as a sensible member of Vylbrand society. Doesn't really like them, but they're far better chums than...
The Immortal Flames: Associated via her membership in TALE. It's not that they've done anything bad to her, but Fhylie dislikes their part in the Syndicate's machine.
The Adventure League of Eorzea: Any group of rapscallions and rabble-rousers in disguise as an adventuring free company would have to be desperate indeed to give any authority to a cowardly glamour-pusher.
Broken Chairs: Everyone's favourite gang of larger-than-you-and-life pirates, mercenaries, scholars, and dentists. Fhylie is known as the purveyor and distributor of Bad Hellsguard Names.
IC Inventory
The following items are things that this individual carries on their person at all times. These are noted for pickpockets, and those watching her closely. This information is meant to be a prompt for insight and is not to be meta-gamed, though feel free to use this information if it comes up logically in RP (pickpocketing, a search, etc) with use of a simple /tell.

Glio coinpurse.png

String of Glamour Prisms: Up both sleeves are long leather cords holding a batch of pre-prepared glamour prisms for sale and effect (on the right) and to aid in pilferment or escapology (left).
Tools of the Trade: A set of leather gauntlets and arm protectors strapped and studded with various hammers, needles, picks, and fluids all designed to enter your castle and save that princess. Their creator has assured Fhylie of their unbreakability and extended a lifetime warranty, but she was a crook, so...
A Subtle Reminder: Fhylie doesn't carry much coin on her unless she needs it for something specific or she's en route to her safehouse vault. However, she always carries one oddity: a Gridanian coin modified with a tiny emerald in the center, embossed with the words 'Facta Non Verba'.
Gewgaws: Sometimes the roegadyn's sticky fingers get the better of her, multiple times a day, and she can't stop herself from unconsciously dipping fingers into other people's pockets for odd trinkets. These magpie trophies are less valuable to her than the objects she takes intentionally for remembrance, however, so she will sometimes leave these objects somewhere else after she loses interest in them.
RP Limits
I like to consider myself a flexible player who is willing to commit to a number of different types of scenes and role-play scenarios, but even I have my limits. If something is on the play list, assume it means yes, as long as it's within the context of the current play or ongoing plot. No's are typically a hard no, and it means don't ask.
I will play mature themes or goofy adventures. I love ongoing stories.
Ask about romantic or relationship RP. It's fun with the right partner. Non-canonical character death can be okay too if handled right. It's about closing an arc.
I won't ERP. There's nothing wrong with it OR people that do it, but I am as of this writing leaving a bad relationship and don't have any interest in casual hookups anyways.
RP Hooks
While the below is by no means comprehensive, it's a kind of spring board for walk-up RP. Longer plots that are meant to run for more than a few quick RP's, please feel free to send me a tell so we can work out a good reason for our characters to get to know one another. I'm always looking for RP, unless I'm actively spamming PvE content.
■ Need a disguise? Fhylie creates custom glamours for the discerning spoken, or just their clothes, if you're not up to anything exciting. Don't be too interesting, though, or you might find yourself followed in crowds by that wide, sharp-looking smile.
■ A seagull's talons are graspsome things. You've hit a spate of successes and bragged loudly (or quietly) in the streets about it. Unbeknownst to your merry band of miscreants, the streets hide some who would dim that shine of yours, preferably by the pilfering of precious profits. (I am down to RP a thief in the night, but only against willing parties. Let's keep our crime courteous, OOC.)
■ Music lessons! Fisticuffs might be called the sweet science to some, but to Fhylie there's nothing purer than the wordless art, and she is fully willing to tutor you in melodies basic and advanced. She will not teach you that other thing.

Player Information
Player Note
There is a lot of information on this character wiki, but it is by no means completely comprehensive. There are chunks of backstory that are left intentionally vague so that details can be later added as developed through creative writing or in role-play revelation. Feel free to use Common or Uncommon rumors freely, if you want to use a Rare Rumor as a plot hook or to spark RP, I would ask that you send me a tell first, to make certain it's alright.
Character Lore Adherence
Everything concerning this character that has not been confirmed by in-game lore should be taken with a grain of salt. Anything that has had to be changed because of lore shifting will be noted below.
■ This is not a change, but it bears mentioning that lore is on-record that spoken can breed with one another and sirens are marked as spoken in a few different places, so let's not have that conversation at all, please.
Character Concept
People are glorious contradictions, and I don't see why my fictional characters should be any different. A thief with a heart of gold, a mind controller depressed that she doesn't have real friends, an untrustworthy teller of uncomfortable truths, Fhylie lives and breathes doublespeak and deception but craves close relationships. All of these things make much more of an interesting character than "run fast, hit good". It's important to laugh about our ridiculous creations, isn't it?

Tropes & Explanations
A trope is a convention or device that is often found in creative works. In this case, the tropes below describe my character either in part, or as a whole. Their background, personality, appearance, etc, most of them can be described in the tropes below.
Armor Piercing Question: Fhylie delights and has delighted in ruining someone's day from just a few words out of the side of her mouth.
Cheshire Cat Grin: Your favourite horrible smile.
Failure Knight: Everyone loses a friend sometimes, and sometimes it's all your fault.
Too Clever By Half: ... or at least SHE thinks so.
Brilliant But Lazy: Heroing is such hard work, better left to professionals, fools, and professional fools.
Heroic Comedic Sociopath: If you don't think psycho-horror mind control being used to shove pies in people's faces is funny, then I'm afraid I have a pie to introduce you to.
I Just Want to Have Friends: Too bad the game is rigged against you, loathsome gull!
