Her short, cropped hairstyle can be attributed to the woman's particular line of work, though this choice only serves to accentuate her already sharp and angular features, namely her high-set cheekbones. Tall and long-limbed, the engineer stands tall above nearly every non-elezen she encounters. She is of course by no means amongst the tallest of her kind, and may be considered mid-height for those of similar heritage. ♦ PHYSIQUE & MARKINGS: While appearing outwardly slender, Gaelle sports a surprisingly toned physique beneath her clothing. Relatively defined biceps give way to strong forearms and work hardened hands, and perhaps with a friendly handshake one may be privy to the engineer's rather unassuming strength. Similar musculature is also carried through to the lower half of her body, and while her abdomen is by no means cut, her thighs and calves are both firm and strong. Due to the nature of war, Gaelle does exhibit a standard amount of scarring. The woman has a series of small ceruleum burns that dot her upper legs and thighs, and while not plainly visible, these can be attributed to her work with Ishgard's dragonkiller weaponry. Gaelle also sports a small, faded scar near the center of her forehead, typically hidden by her hair. ♦ VOICE: Not being one for idle chatter, Gaelle's voice exhibits little inflection (save for standard Ishgardian idiosyncrasies), thus making it apparent that her every word is measured and her vocabulary one chosen with great care. Her lack of social prowess may frequently cause her tone to seem somewhat barbed, though her overall tenor exhibits the silvery quality of a well-educated woman. ♦ ATTIRE: A well dressed woman in all respects, Gaelle favors mostly utilitarian pieces, vastly preferring function over form. Her wardrobe is both modest in coverage and consistent with the military aesthetic, though it is uncertain as to whether or not this is a direct result of her choice in career, or simply own her personal taste. She can be typically seen clothed in more dark-toned hues, opting very rarely for more flamboyant color choices. Should the occasion call for such, Gaelle may don a dress or a skirt, though it is assumed such a fashion choice stemmed from a strictly enforced dress code or at the behest of a superior.
