Biography

♦Childhood:

Gaethan born into the family Charlemend as the first born son was expected to do great things. As a child he was mischievous brat who didn’t know his place. While his parents did love him they still were right there to discipline him at every turn. Gaethan loved to challenge the authority of the guards of his family. This often got him into vast troubles with his parents and the punishments were severe. Severe enough that over time Gaethan realized what was happening and began to calm himself and only went to fight when he knew he would win. Homelife was quiet when not studying or training. He learned the arts of magic from his mother and her retainers and the art of swordsmanship with his father and his retainers.

However after learning that Gaethan found very well that he enjoyed fighting with his fists and with knives. He honed his slithery skills at the behest of his father at first. But when his father saw how good he was he understood it. Gaethan would also sway him more with the following words. “I understand that we are men of honor. However, knowing how one of dishonor to a degree acts can help us men who fight with honor be prepared.” These words struck a chord with his father and made him a happy man.

♦Adolescence:

Gaethan’s teenager years were eventful in ways that one wouldn’t think. Gaethan had rebelled a bit against the stance of Ishgard seeing the people of Eorzea as a whole. It lead him to get into many fights amongst peers and those above him. What came of this rebellious behavior? Well Gaethan put himself into classes for etiquette on his own accord. He never wanted to get into fights with others to begin with over petty squabbles with things that could be talked over. At his time taking better etiquette classes Gaethan became more of a gentleman as time passed. It would take year’s though to remove his temper.

♦Adulthood:

Upon reaching adulthood Gaethan setout from home and left to see Eorzea in it’s glory. He sought to learn more of the outside world and help understand the plight of the world as a whole. Gaethan’s travels would take him all over, one such place he did end up was outside of Limsa Lominsa where he was ake under the wing of a Doman ninja. Gaethan never learned the man’s name but he taught him mystic arts after seeing an affinity for it within. Gaethan however has let this new skill set go unmentioned to most as he soon hopes to return to a form of combat that is more suiting for him. Gaethan was also picked up by a Free Company for his skills. The Eorzea Defense Force recruited him and he has been training with his comrades and learning more everyday.
