General Information
Koyano Mihata is a raen thaumaturge who hails from Yanxia. Having suffered under the boot of the Garlean Empire and - especially - the acting Viceroy Yotsuyu for so many years, she is bitter, sadistic, and cruel. She immigrated to Ul'dah, sponsored by the East Aldenard Trading Company, where she worked as one of Lord Lolorito Nanarito's little birds...that is until she became more trouble than she is worth. Now she is a free agent.
Appearance
Koyano's appearance is well-coordinated and striking. She is blue and white from head to toe, with the exception of her cool gray skin. Her short hair is blue that turns white at the tips. Similarly, she wears coordinated outfits of white and blue that match her hair rather perfectly. Deviating from this blue and white pattern is rare. Her eyes are similar, one blue and one white (blind due to an event in her childhood), but they both have striking cyan limbal rings. Her white raen scales, horn, and tail lend themselves well to this aesthetic.
Koyano carries herself with grace and confidence...for the most part.

Mannerisms
Her mannerisms vary wildly depending on the situation, a reflection of her survival instinct. She is very good at disarming people and making them feel comfortable around her. She can come off as warm and friendly and even kind. And that's how she gets you. Once she wrests some manner of control from someone else, her mannerisms completely change. She gains a significant amount of confidence, and she loves to lord it over those she has her claws in, manipulating them to her will or, if driven to the most extreme, torturing them emotionally.
When she is defeated and has nothing to lose, she comes off as humble. Almost down-to-earth. But the moment she gets the chance, she will latch on to what power she can and use it for her benefit. Even if that is just to inflict pain on those she deems deserving of it.

For her, it's rather simple: Do what you can to survive. If you can trample on some undeserving fools in the process, that's all the better.
