Grau is a confidant well-muscled Roegadyn in his late thirties. His demeanour betrays his sea-wolf heritage (he once owned his own ship, the Wave Crester), and he’s no stranger to combat and rough-housing. He may tan over time, the longer he remains away from the sea. Recently he’s become land-bound, and has taken up arms - on his way to becoming a paladin (although he isn’t aware this is his course yet). He sometimes alludes to once being a pirate, but may be joking. He’s a raconteur, and likes telling tall tales and true, rarely about himself. If they are about himself, often these tales are at his own expense.
Grau can be gruff and taciturn, at other times also outgoing and boisterous. There’s a lot of life-experience behind him.
