StoryPersonalityCombatOOC NotesCredit STORY Taken off the streets of Kugane at a young age, Kai grew up under constant reselling. She was a slave, both in the bedroom and in the fields. She was passed Master to Master, from bedroom to bedroom. In order to stay sane, she sealed her mind and emotions away. It went this way for a good many years. Her luck changed when she was sold to a Master in Ul'dah during her early teens. That Master had her working as a courtesan. Due to her Roe size, many thought that she was much older. One of the clients took a keen liking to her, a Seeker of the Sun named R'yhuz Tia. He arranged a meeting with her Owner, and offered a large amount of gil for her. Instead of being treated as a slave, Kai was treated as royalty. R'yhuz heaped gifts onto her. Gave her schooling. Taught her how to control magics and how to use a blade. He sent her to mind healers to help her deal with her past. He became the closest thing to a parent that she had ever knew, however twisted it was. As she aged, Kai's personality began to shine. Instead of silent, she grew lively. Her deadened eyes became mischievous. She learned to laugh, but most importantly, she learned to trust and how to love. Her past began to fade from her mind. Kai began to love life and even love the streets of Ul'dah. She still continued to be a courtesan. She did so to help bring in gil and information for R'yhuz. He left her choice of cliental to her, only pointing out what info he would like to have. R'yhuz taught her how to weave words and actions to lure secrets from men and women's tongues. He used the intel she brought in to climb the social and business ladder in Ul'dah. He soon became a prominent figure. Enough so, that one night, R'yhuz was no more. Seeking vengeance, Kai continued. She burned, broke and tortured information from those connected to his killer. Her wrath could not be sated. During one such interview, she stumbled across an agent of Quaesitum Noctis. Said agent took her to the head of the Jonin, a Hime Goldensparrow. Offering an equal exchange, Kai would gather intel for Noctis if they would help her seek out R'yhuz's killer. They worked well together. Kai consistently brought in intel and Goldensparrow gave word on anything she could find. Kai soon caught up with killer. It was another Seeker named S'kihze, envious of the empire that R'yhuz had built. She took great pleasure in erasing his existence from the world. She gained S'kihze's fortune on top of R'yhuz's. Both of which keep her from ever having to work another day. For six months she took a small break from Noctis to explore the world. She thought that she could leave that world behind, but Kai began to crave the subterfuge. She decided to come back. After all, where else can she get to have as much fun? PERSONALITY On the exterior, Kai seems like a happy, charming, relaxed, and laid-back. However, she is also a complex person whom hides a terrible childhood from those close to her. She also deeply cares for her comrades and never thinks before rushing to their aide in battle. COMBAT Prefering long range, Kai seeks to keep her enemies at a distance or the length of her blade at the least. She prefers to unleash torrents of lighting and fire upon her foes, striking them low. She also heals her allies, bringing them back from the brink of death with a subtle gesture. When she is on a job, she allows poisons to do her work. She will slip them in her mark's drink or apply it to her lips. She does not need to fear poisoning herself, for she has built up an immunity to them. OOC NOTES OOC INFORMATION Player Note I have a very clear distinction when it comes to OOC/IC. They must remain separate at all times if we are to RP together. If my character dislikes yours that does not mean I hold the same sentiment. If my character loves yours that does not translate to me feeling the same for you, though I might feel a platonic equivalent. I am not my character and they are not me. Respect this and we shall get along famously.
