Lolovachi Tatavachi
A vivacious young Lalafell in his mid-20’s standing roughly waist high to the average Hyuran man. His deep swarthy complexion, as well as the sun bleached locks streaking through his deliberately styled shoulder length blonde hair betrays his upbringing in Eorzea’s “Jewel of the Desert” Ul'dah. As with all Dunesfolk Lalafell, Lolovachi’s eyes appear as a solid glassy color, a rich amber in his case, and generally express a sense of warmth and eagerness with perhaps the slightest hint of mischief. Each eye is framed along the corners with a small crimson tattoo resting just above the cheekbones. The sprightly Lalafell appears to be in good shape with an agile, athletic build. He tends to carry himself with a relaxed or casual demeanor, even appearing carefree at times. His expression is usually friendly and welcoming, a broad, cheery smile painted across his rounded features. Just beneath his laid-back surface bubbles a wellspring of unwavering confidence and determination. Lolovachi’s taste in clothing seems to favor the ostentatious. Flashy, modern garb of jackets and accessories of a sporty, flexible design in tones of reds, whites, blacks and his favorite, platinum. Commonly fastened at his hip is a peculiar magitek boxlike device adorned with a brilliant cyan gemstone, and some manner of firearm is often holstered snugly on his back or at his waist. A friendly little sabotender named Sabotendiego, or just Diego for short, is often tagging along beside him.

Mid to occasionally longer length, usually kept swept back in some elaborate way to keep out of his face. Favors a flashier style generally.
Soft amber with a faint reflective glow. As with all Dunesfolk, his pupils are protected behind a protective film adapted to filter out the harsh environment of the desert. His otherwise adept vision is slightly weaker at night or in the dark.
A subtle pair of red dashes tattooed along the corner of each eye, applied in a traditional Lalafellin way as a young child by his more religious parents. His face is also occasionally smudged black with grease and grime.
None visible.
Ears.
Mid-toned. Playful, Confident, Mischievous. Well educated, but with a slight sense that it’s being intentionally downplayed in favor of more “street” sound.
Sporty, stylish clothing that’s lightweight and high in mobility with a bit of an elaborate flare that doesn’t sacrifice too much in the way of utility. Quite fond of expensive jackets and accessories as well as his personal magitek powered goggles. Favored colors consist of whites, blacks, reds, silvers, and browns. Also owns a standard Garlond Ironworks engineer’s uniform.
A sophisticated looking silver magitek “box”, affixed with a rectangular cyan gemstone carried on his hip, which contains; A pair of <Magitek Goggles>, A nondescript <Metal Cylinder>, Several sets of <Elemental Crystals>, Customized <Ammunition>, Spare <Tools>, A small, older model <Mammet>, And a <Strange Magnetic Disc>. Various other items include; An <Eternal Bonding Ring>, An old <Faded Photograph> of a Hyur woman with writing on the back, A pair of <Retractable Knives>, A respectable <Pouch of Gil>, Assorted <Fishing Lures>, <Linkpearls>, And a handful of <Glamour Prisms>.
One of several firearms such as; A crimson and black <Gunblade> of Garlean designed with the name “Isabella” conspicuously engraved along the blade, A heavy silver <Revolver> with a slick, utilitarian design. A Garlond Ironworks manufactured <Ironworks Repeater>.
Lolo is friendly and upbeat, always doing his best to bring an air of positivity to those around him and frequently sporting a cheery smile. As a youth, a fateful run in with a Garlean scouting vessel while traveling via airship with his parents left the traumatized Lalafell with an intense animosity towards Garlemald and all that it represents. Eventually, romantic notions of resistance and revolutionaries gradually solidified as a core property of his ideals. His desire for peace at almost any cost at times approaching the level of fanaticism and his unrelenting confidence and self-assuredness of this path bordering on reckless self-destruction. Yet he retains an intensely positive outlook and optimistic demeanor through everything. Despite, or perhaps even because of his dreams of liberation, Lolovachi will in most cases refuse to take a life. Even those of the Empire he so bitterly detests. Especially those of the Empire. He believes people are generally good at heart and enjoys conversation, tending to make friends easily and likes to make others happy. Lolovachi is highly protective of his wife and frequent traveling companion, Jojofi Jofi, and would do almost anything to keep her happy and safe. She also serves to keep some of his more fanciful ideas grounded in her more stern reality and is an exceptionally capable fighter in her own right. The lively Lolo has a bit of flair for the dramatic, especially when it comes to clothing and he’s been known to spend hours perusing the markets. One of the first things he does in a new area is to check the local shops and trends. He can also be a tad picky about his hair and styles it meticulously. His favorite pastime is fishing and feels right at home around the water. In particular enjoying wide open beaches. Possessing a natural sense of curiosity and inventiveness, Lolo has a clear interest in gadgets and a fondness for mammets stemming from his mammeteer father. One of which he regularly carries on his person, an older model mammet named Vilfriede. He very much has a penchant for the “modern” and likes creative and new solutions to problems. Ever the optimist, Lolo tends to look down on outright pessimism and is bored easily with what he would consider dull traditionalist views. Despite all of his headstrong confidence, the Lalafell is anxious, if not outright terrified of spiritual or otherworldly entities such as ghosts, zombies, and voidsent. In some cases even insisting they aren’t real despite the clear evidence across Eorzea to the contrary. Most peculiar of all though, is his privately held fear of potential belligerent invaders from the stars.
The son of a master goldsmith and mammeteer, Lolovachi found himself technically inclined and educated from a young age and has grown to become a proficient engineer in his own right. Following a disastrous encounter with a Garlean airship during a flight to Limsa Lominsa with his parents, the then teenage Lalafell hastily enlisted in the newly reformed Immortal Flames where he received extensive military training. Particularly in the areas of subterfuge and demolition. Lolovachi is a skilled marksman and passably capable knife fighter, although his over reliance on magitek devices and ranged weaponry have the potential to hamstring his capabilities if he isn’t careful. Chief amongst his favorite pastimes is fishing. Lolo is a fishing fanatic and can lose track of time while relaxing beside a gentle pond. He enjoys cooking up his catch as well. Born and raised in the harsh desert city of Ul'dah, Lolovachi is well adapted to warm climates while having little tolerance for the cold. His eyesight as well, being adapted like all Dunesfolk to the blinding desert and rough sands, is exceptional during the day but considerably less so at night. Growing up in the exceedingly money minded “Jewel of the Desert” also helped cement the value of the gil in Lolo’s mind although he does have quite the shopping habit. Being a Lalafell of course means dealing with whatever height related advantages or disadvantages may arise when dealing opponents thrice his size. His physical strength is also proportionately low, even compared to other Lalafell. The brash young Lalafell’s overconfidence occasionally leads to reckless or even self-destructive tendencies and his overprotective nature has gotten him deep into trouble more than once. Lolovachi’s desire to see the good in people leads him to be trusting to a level approaching naivety at times while his empathic tendencies may make him prone to sinister manipulation. Lolovachi’s romanticized ideals of revolution and desire for peace at times border on zealotry and extremism. His unwillingness to kill in most situations can make certain encounters more difficult than they would otherwise be, potentially even putting his allies at risk at times. Lolovachi unknowingly possesses The Echo, affording him the “gift” of Empathic Perception and sporadically leading him to perceive and feel the emotions of a single individual within a 50 to 100 yalm range as if they were his own. He has no control of this ability and attributes is infrequent occurrences to mood swings.
