Mackenzie Payne
[edit]
Mackenzie Payne is a Serpent Captain who spends most of his time wandering around Eorzea while offering Body Guard and Tour Guide services to anyone he meets. Being a rather affable and charming individual he often goes out of his way to try making new friends or recruit people into The Twin Adders, even going so far as to call himself their unofficial spokesman and recruiter. Unlike most other people of high rank in a Grand Company, he doesn't take his duties very seriously, and will only perform patrols of the Twelveswood when he's already wandering around them for training purposes. While mostly a very laid back individual, Mackenzie takes his training very seriously, and can be found practicing his martial arts and ninja skills almost religiously while wandering about the world. When not wandering or training, he can be found hanging around The Quicksand while visiting family in Ul'dah or at The Drowned Wench while visiting friends.
Mackenzie is a very feminine and beautiful man, with Auburn hair and dark brown eyes, in his early thirties. With a very lithe yet muscular frame, Mackenzie stands at six fulms and one ilm tall. Considering his mixed heritage of Hyur and Roegadyn (Highlander and Hellsguard specifically), his height and appearance would mark him as a runt to anyone else of these races. Instead of trying to make himself look more masculine, he decided to embrace his effeminate nature, and wears light makeup to accentuate certain feature, such as his eyes and lips.
Aspects That Stand Out:
Mackenzie is a very easy going and laid back individual, taking things life throws at him in stride. With a playful attitude and charming personality, he tends to make friends everywhere he goes. This also leads to trouble from time to time as he always comes off as flirty, even if he's not trying to get into your pants. This attitude never really changes even when fighting or being confronted by people who take offense to him, treating them in a friendly manner that comes off as mocking, only infuriating them more. The only times he'll drop the playful attitude and become serious, is when friends or family are in a life threatening situation.
