Malin has a pretty face obscured by all the ways she abuses it; she is more likely to be scowling, grimacing, gritting her teeth, or pursing her lips than smiling or laughing. If one can get past that, there are bright blue eyes, skin that's a bit tanned and reddened from working in the desert, and a sprightly laugh underneath a mass of haphazardly chopped dark red hair.
