[edit] Details Personality Relationships Rumors Gallery OOC Notes GENERAL INFORMATION Nesrin Mimieux, formerly Shadi'ra, is a woman wrapped in mystery. She has a difficult time letting people in, and can feel quite standoffish. This does not mean she isn't capable of conversation, in fact, she will engage and talk at length with many a people. But... that's just it. Just scraping the surface. A wall around her, standing vigilant to heartbreak and malice. APPEARANCE Nesrin has what some would say is the ideal figure, in an elegant hourglass shape and curves in all the right places. She had a pale palette, with extremely fair skin and hair, making her eyes standing out with their shade of bloody crimson. Though, this fairness does not come without consequence. She forbids sunlight to touch her skin, since her skin was born sensitive and hardly ventures in daylight if she can avoid it. Her hair, falling just above her knees, had not a stray hair out of place and is well kept. She often wears make up, of a more Gothic tone like her attire, yet without appearing as heavy. She is also covered in tattoos, stylized in arcane and archaic symbols, from the neck down. ( ♥♥ ) - My Beloved Cousin Character's Thoughts: " My family, and my life. I love her more than anything." Parveneh is Nesrin's biological cousin, though technically all of the Shadi'ra members are all cousins, they were the closest to each other. Nesrin deeply loves and respects her cousin, looking to her for guidance and protection many a time in their youth. But as they grew older, Parvaneh growing ever lovelier and out of her shell into a respected Matriarch, Nesrin felt... overshadowed. She needed to find her own way, to find herself beyond the limits of her people, and thus, ran off to Ishgard. When a couple years after she heard tale of the Scourge, which is the name of the event that wiped out nearly all of her clan, she came rushing back. She thought Parvaneh long dead, but they recently rediscovered each other and reconciled all past transgression with the relief of seeing the other alive. They are now close and stronger than ever. Maiev Shadi'ra Shadi'ra 2nd Cousin. ( ♥♥ ) - Delicate Thing Character's Thoughts: " A beloved bundle... one I will defend with my life, if need be." Parvaneh's child, and Nesrin's second cousin. Though, she prefers the title of 'Aunt', feeling unconditional love the moment she laid eyes on the babe. Since she can have no children of her own, she is hopelessly attached to the child and enjoys the baby's spunky attitude. Jipu Shadi'ra Grandmother. ( ♥♥✝ ) - Dearest Grandmother Character's Thoughts: " My sanctuary. I miss her more and more each day." Nesrin's grandmother was her safe haven, someone she knew she can always count on. She taught Nesrin the art of black magicks, even though it is forbidden, and taught her the skill of painting, specifically body art. When she passed, it hurt Nesrin like no other, and remains as a great pain whenever brought up. Ireth Shadi'ra Aunt, Former Matriarch. ( ♥✖ ) - A Despicable Woman Character's Thoughts: " A bitch of a woman." Ireth, Parvaneh's mother, was relentless in reminding Nesrin how much she was not Shadi'ra. Nesrin's unusual appearance and her shy nature made her an easy target, always reminded of being the 'black sheep' of the clan. Suffice to say, Nesrin doesn't care for her much. Ashent Mimieux Late Husband. ( ♥✝ ) - My Dearest Friend Character's Thoughts: "One who gave me solace, one who gave me meaning... but did not have my heart." Nesrin's late husband. A very wealthy noble Elezen of Ishgard, they met when she but turned 18. They found great relief and friendship in each other. Wanting to care for her and have her start on her own, he married her, she not knowing he was to die soon. He knew, and did not tell her, but covered it by wanting to grant her Ishgardian citizenship. After two years of great friendship, and love, he passed from sickness. He left everything to her, a fact unbeknownst to her until his death. Since, many have thought her only a conniving witch out to steal the man's money. Even worse, some even believed she herself killed him. NON-FAMILY Khuja'a Bajhiri complicated. ( ♥♥♥ ) Character's Thoughts: " The darkness that has captured me... and I can't escape. But then again, I don't think I want to..." A man that wandered into her life, unexpectedly and uninvited. He kept interrupting and invading her space, a quality she never did care for. But in a moment of weakness, she fell for his flirtations, his odd sincerity in his mannerisms toward her. He is wrapped in mystery, and she knowing full well to stay away from him and his manipulations, but she can't help but be drawn in. She is completely enraptured and obsessed with him, like a drug. Or as some would say, a fly to the spider's web. They have endured much and she is hardened. She is bound to him and he to her.
