Basic Info

Taking after his father, Rajsha'a Qeht is an inquisitive mind. His intellectual pursuits include Kinesiology, Pharmacology, Nutrition and Aetheric Studies. Like his mother, Rajsha'a also strives to be practical and industrious.

Rajsha'a speaks ESL (Eorzean as a Second Language); though only slightly reflected in sentence structure and some phonetics. Qeht prefers body language to express his thoughts and feelings.

A recent graduate of the Adventurer Guild's Hall of the Novice, his skills as a martial artist and willingness to aid refugees, citizens and adventurers alike have earned him enlistment into Ul'dah's Immortal Flames Grand Company.

Background

Rajsha'a's parents were targeted and killed in a coup of jealousy and corruption. He and his uncle took refuge in the , where they lived off the land and traded with local highlanders.

Rags, as he would come to be called during this period, developed a desire to help Eorzea recover. He eventually began to complete simple adventurers' errands to pay for passage back across the continents to an unfamiliar home. . .

History

Rajsha'a arrived in Ul'dah to be trained in the premier guild for martial artists. At the suggestion of a few encounters, he also enrolled in the Adventurer's Guild, mainly as a way to make coin starting out.

Only shortly after his arrival, Rajsha'a experienced his first serious encounter with another adventurer. He went by the name of Tank Heal, and he welcomed Rags to Ul'dah and the adventurering life, with gifts of fine leather gear and a generous sum of gil. That was the first friend Rajsha'a made in Eorzea, and though not in touch too often these days, his generosity will always be remembered.

Overcoming a set a unique circumstances found Rajsha'a in the company of the city-states elite.

A recent graduate of the Adventurer Guild's Hall of the Novice, his skills as a martial artist and willingness to aid refugees, citizens and adventurers alike have earned him enlistment into Ul'dah's Immortal Flames Grand Company.

Shortly after his enlistment, Rajsha'a began survival training, honing his skills to be self-reliant and resourceful while afield. He spent most of his time training in Vylbrand, where he could also study the Arcanist's discipline and learn more of his father's knowledge. Noting Qeht's aptitude, and inclinations, Mealvaan's Gate granted him authority as a field agent. Rags would get further clearance as a Scions' agent, investigating military, political and trade affairs.

Rajsha'a Encounters the Empire

Rags first encountered the Empire's presence during a field investigation out in East Shroud. A regular visit that was as much about diplomacy as it was personal ties - and manual labor. During one of such mission, Private Qeht's instincts spiked again, fueled by that looming threat; and he found the discovery unnerving. Even after defeating a primal in battle, Rags could sense he still had more to learn and perfect. He also knew that joining the Grand Company meant larger battles lie ahead. He looked at his fists with curious anxiety and stared off towards the path back to the small settlement, pondering whether to pounce the vilekin within the path or run fluidly through them. Rajsha'a kicked off into a light jog. . .

Rajsha'a the Researcher

Rajsha'a studies martial arts, pharmacology and nutrition. He also prefers to live off the Land. He uses his Botany and Mining Skills to study the land and learn of it's resources and care. Fishing is a hobby, (though any fish caught go to a good meal or other project!)

His father taught him the rudimentary basics of magic and arcanima. Rajsha'a initially practiced as a way to connect with and try to understand his father and the pain of losing him. With Thubyrgeim's tutelage, he uses his arcane abilities to support fellow adventurers in distress, and in pest control (with Carbuncle's help). It was in employing tactics to complete these types of missions, that he began to think more like a tactician.

Hoping to be considered a leader around his peers, Rajsha'a delves deeper into the science of the arcane, battle tactics, and alchemy complementing academic curiosity with more practical knowledge.

Other Notes

Rajsha'a possesses the Echo. One of the more frightening aspects is that he has seen his death on several occasions, particularly before an especially daunting challenge. While these moments terrify him like the worst of nightmares, he has learned to focus in on each episode, to better prepare and navigate the risks that could otherwise end his life permanently. . .
