Reckless Boar ❝Not everythin' can be fixed... [edit] Basic People History Pictures OOC Basic Info ● Dock worker/deck hand. Not bound to any particular ship. ● Fancies himself an 'acquirer' of goods. ● After years working around ships, he picked up a decent bit of carpentry. It might not be pretty, but it sure as hell will be sturdy ● Has a pet bluebird named Grog. Because Grog is a sailor's best friend. ● His manners are minimal at best. ● He is generally seen eating (most likely sunflower seeds, shell and all) or taking frequent swigs from a flask filled with unknown, and assumedly alcoholic beverage. ● Highly impulsive, but often too lazy to act. ● He made the conscious decision to not go by his birth name and instead go by the rough Common equivalent. Constantly one to ignore the wills of his parents, Wuotborn found himself often fending for himself. He would often disappear for days at a time, much to the dismay of his parents, for no other reason than because he could. When he would return home wounded, he would be scolded, but then immediately nursed back to health. Wuotborn would often spend time by the docks as a child, the large sails of the ships would amaze him. Once, while sitting on the docks he was swept into the bay by a surge. Without knowing how to swim, he flailed, managing to grab hold of the dock. While normally, this would strike fear into a child's heart, for Wuotborn, it merely added to the awe of an already unstoppable force. Young Adult Once he was large enough to hold his own, to carry his own weight, he joined the crew of a ship, The Endless Gale. On the ship, he found himself relatively low in the pecking order, being one of the youngest and having no particular skills to speak of. The constant, mocking mispronunciation of his name on the Gale led him to change his name to a more Common speak version, Reckless Boar, a name which accurately portrayed his impulsivity. Over his years on various ships, he picked up a skill or two, learning basic carpentry as well as combat. While a master of nothing, Boar is often viewed as a jack of many trades.
