True Neutral General Information Ryuichi has always been a passionate, caring and aspiring individual. From afar he is judged for his often silences, laid back attitude and sometimes cold responses. But when he has opened up around the people he cares about, he becomes a lot more like the former. Although he finds it hard to strengthen the bond of friendship, he is always found to be a loyal trustworthy friend. He always makes sure he has a set of goals to achieve either daily or in his life. Always watching and evaluating before injecting himself into an on-going conversation, this is an Xaela that when discovered, can make a valuable friend. The placement of strands co-exist in a messy fashion, displaying evident little regard for appearance. At the nape of his neck, butchered strands lay top his skin. The ends of these strands are split, clearly cut by a blade. It would be evident that Ryuichi's hair was unmistakably longer. Two toned orbs masked beneath his ashen locks would eloquently pierce through the strands. The left eyes mixture of cool, oceanic qualities fused with shades of teal would vastly mis-match the rights concoction of warm emerald and shades of grass. Physique & Markings Ryuichi unlike most of his fellow Doma refugees is built fairly slenderly. Standing at a 6 fulms, 0 ilms the Xaela is often deemed as 'average'. However the nature of his work maintains a healthy fitness which as an addition grants refined muscle definition. Upon his outer cheek toward his jaw bone lays a cross shaped scar completing it's shape before his mid cheek. Over his frame are scars littering over his skin, each with little to no story to them however each sharing one enemy. The Monsters of Eorzea. However upon the inside of his left forearm ink inbeds into his flesh in the form of a tattoo. Beside the strand of text is a small symbol, ink forming the shape of a mountain. The text beside it reads "Aåtá-yē ĵam Þðþă œþymǘpd" To which does not seem to resemble any familiar language. Hygiene & Attire Ryuichi is all too familiar with dirt, blood and other repulsive odours. However, he maintains a good hygiene schedule. Frequent visits to bath houses and of course soaking in the tub after a hard days work seems to clear away lingering scents. Though he seems to pay no heed to others opinions, he could never roll into a Tavern with the days kill still staining his outfit. Often within towns he is spotted sporting a long flowing coat. The stitching and general appearance is very reminiscent to Doma's fashion ideals. The woodland green fabric pieces mash quite pleasingly with the darker tones underneath the coat itself. The High-collar seems to mask the back of his butchered locks, the coat seems fairly worn with customised pieces to fit his body. With the sleeves being rolled and sown above his upper arm. What lays beneath this coat seems to vary, however Ryuichi would hardly be seen in it without sporting leather clad boots. Personality Psychological Profile Due to the events that led up to Doma's current state, Ryuichi has adopted a new form of approaching situations. He maintains a balance between a reserved nature and general friendliness. He is no stranger to jappery and general foolish nature amongst friends yet however as a stranger, Ryuichi is difficult to approach on occasion. His desires are of his own, and he tends not to engage with folks unless provoked or be drawn into conversations that pique his interests. Before throwing himself into conversation he often takes moments to read and evaluate those within that conversation. As his life from splashing from peaceful solitude to chaotic nonsensical violence from the events of Doma, he was left with a muddled opinion on how to interact with others. This period of evaluation is often deemed as a sullen silence from him and many tend to disengage contact. However, the Xaela is evaluating and establishing a profile for the person, using all the information he can gain to further evaluate how to approach. If the person in question is deemed out of his interest level, Ryuichi will simply disengage, whether that's a minute step away or an exit from the establishment immediately is based upon that judgement. Voice His voice matches the type of personality Ryuichi wields. His gruff enunciation of words unfamiliar to his tongue seems to greet the condescending tone in a mashup of his voice. His accent relies heavily on the Doma region, which seems to spread across every vowel and consonant of his words. Philosophy & Mannerisms Ryuichi is a firm believer in rebirth after departure from Eorzea. He believes if one is to prove their worth to the Twelve, they will be granted another chance at life upon Eorzea, however he believes that those who have no purpose but to deliver their ill intent; The twelve will ensure that their life does not continue. Equipment Arms Loyalty: This Zweihander is a common weapon. It was given to him from the refugee camp he resided during the events of Doma. Guia-Po: A halberd that was easily obtained from the Blacksmith in Ul'Dah. Only used during times of War. Disclaimer: History is still under construction as I wish to fill this in as storylines unfold. Sixth Astral Era Childhood Ryuichi had a pretty average childhood. There weren't any tales of woe during this Era. He grew up with his mother and father in Doma, residing within one of many Au'Ra tribes, the Auri Tribe did treat the Miqo'te as of kin. Their life was peaceful at most, with very little becoming an issue in this self-fulfilling Tribe. His father Kaleng was praised for his wit and intellect which vastly helped the Tribe become self-sustainable. Kaleng were thought of in the ways of a Tribal Elder, wisdom and reassurance were sought after by the Tribe to which they opted him the title of King. Of course Ryuichi in turn became the 'Prince' of the Tribe and undoubtedly wanted to be just like his father. So Kaleng indulged his son, and taught him how to fight. Of course, a two handed weapon was almost impossible for Ryuichi to wield. But he wanted to walk in his fathers footsteps, so he refused to battle with any other weapon despite his father insisting he used something lighter. As years grew by, his father had refined his son's movements to be faster, his form to be well defended and his swings to become more accurate. In Ryuichi's eyes, he hadn't wished for anything more, he was happy doing what he loved and being with his father. His mother Cereph of course did well to make sure they were clean, presentable and that their wounds were tended do. She did only as a mother would, and only fuel their passions for training. Before Kaleng knew it, Ryuichi reached the coming of age. The brat who could not even swing a blade without falling over was now well versed in Two-Handed blades and spears like they were an extension of himself. The Au'Ra's ceremony of the coming of age was undoubtedly the highlight of Ryuichi's life. Alcohol was spilled, singing and dancing had broken out and of course Ryuichi didn't decline a good fist fight with none other than his own father. A tradition of course. And so the son and father fought under the glow of the burning pyre, Ryuichi did not win of course yet however some say it was an draw. Nevertheless the duo drank further until morning had broke and Ryuichi was deemed by the Tribe as a man. Ryuichi spent the rest of his years aiding and defending the Village from others Tribes, and everything seemed to be going swimmingly. He met Mylla Greyashe, an orphan who mingled in with the various tribes. Mylla was that of a lost pup, seeking her own purpose in the world with no one by her side. She began to stick by Ryuichi like glue, and the duo had been inseparable ever since. Upon the night of Ryu's coming of age, he adopted Mylla as his sister. Not that of Tribeskin, but of blood and law. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood This era was the mark of the Garlean Invasion into Doma. Tribes were cut down like cattle, women and children torn apart by Garlean mutts. The true horror of a Garlean Troop slicing down citizens and ending their pain with a shot through the skull. It wasn't long unto the Garlean Army had found Ryuichi's tribe, and just like the others Tribes, they began their assault. Ryuichi was thrown a backpack, and his fathers blade before being ushered out the door to join those who fled. Cereph and Kaleng died that night by the Garlean Empire's hand, a memory Ryuichi would not forget. After the brief moment that the Doma Rebellion existed, Ryuichi fought for their cause before the Garlean Empire had won. And at that point he followed the refugees toward Eorzea where they sought asylum. The barren winter landscape in the Northern Mountains shaped his adulthood as time passed by. It was there he and several other Au Ra refugees called the Mountains their Home. It was a tough time growing up in such an environment but the Tribe constantly looked to the Prince for guidance to which he fulfilled. The mountains were vicious, refuging creatures and dangerous elements alike. From the moment Ryuichi trudged foot into the snow, his hard work had begun. He was taught how to cook, clean and generally survive. It was gruelling, but Ryuichi persevered through the various hard times. From a monster ambush on the village to food shortages, each day was a trial to survive. However, the bonds Ryuichi shared between all the Au Ra in the settlement was enough of a reward for the times of hardship.Living in those cruel conditions made Ryuichi very wary of folk outside the settlement, especially humans. For many who scoped the mountains, tended to have ill intent and Ryuichi knew this well. However, there were no tales of woe, no moments in his life after his parents initial death which screamed agony. When he was old enough, Ryuichi set away from the settlement in search of coin, a warm bed and a hearty meal. He tried to convince others to come with him, but they seemed to adore the mountains much more than he. And so it was, Ryuichi set upon the world in search of what some would call, everyday luxuries.
