Sarangerel is shy and socially inhibited. She has an inner emotional fear of approaching, befriending people, or being the center of attention. Outwardly, she is rather quiet and when she does attempt to speak or engage she lacks the ease and relaxation that a non-shy person may naturally have, causing her to come across as weird and awkward. She will also seek comfort in hiding behind her Tengri who is more outgoing than she is. Sometimes her shyness can be misconstrued as apathy and even hostility towards the people around them causing people to think they're cold and unapproachable. On the inside this is the furthest from the truth. When she knows someone, that's where she shines. Sarangerel is loving, kind, and quite affectionate, can be even playful and witty given the right moment. It's not well known exactly what she does, or where her true talent lies. She's of course been seen with a sword, but most of the time a cane. Though if she can use either to her benefit other than giving a good whacking is still unknown. However, there are mornings where she is found practicing with the sword, for those early birds, they know of her talent with the weapon. One would think from her frail looking form that she'd not be able to wield such a weapon, a dagger perhaps, but the balance of her and her weapon as she works the dummy is quite graceful, almost like dancing. The cane on the other hand... No one has ever seen her make use of it. As of late, she's not been carrying it around. A silly thing to do in Ul'dah? Perhaps, but who knows what else she could have up her sleeve... Possibly a crow... Some of these rumors may be untrue or greatly exaggerated. Common Rumors (Easily Overheard)
Moderate Rumors (Moderately Difficult to Overhear)
Rare Rumors (Very Difficult and Rarely Overheard)

They may not have come into this world together, but they came to the same parents. Their father was Geneq, their mother Moks. To him, they were his blood and his tribe. To her, they were but tools. As Tengri grew, their mother taught him the ancient signals and swore him and his sister both to secrecy. What he learned, he passed onto his sister long before their mother deemed Sarangerel ready. From their father, they learned the calls of the birds, learned to mimic them, to communicate as few other could. Five and nine they were, when their mother passed away due to complications in childbirth. Both mother and unborn child perished, leaving behind two Moks children who had yet to come to terms with and accept what their mother had always impressed upon them as sacred duty. Rather, the pair took their secret and revealed it at long last to their father and the tribal head. Suns turned to moons, and moons to cycles. Tengri came of age, and was beset by an idea: that by offering up his unique set of skills in service to the Empire, he might win lenience and preferential treatment for the Geneq. Though he thought his new course best, Sarangerel did not wish to lose him to the Empire, and beseeched him to not go. He was dead to her pleas, and for that he earned himself and the Empire her bitter resentment. Brother and sister both went missing recently, only to turn up moons later in Eorzea, sporting rags for clothes and little else to show for their past.... OOCI RP a few different types of characters, especially this two in one. I normally try to go with the flow of the RP. I will use dice if I have to, fair is fair right? RNG FTW! Like all characters we create, there is a part of us in there somewhere, however, I will not myself, do anything out of character for the character. That said, if it comes to ERP it has to be within the SL. I hate random encounters for such, so please don't ask. That's not what I'm here for, I enjoy the plot greatly. On that same note, I won't do it OOCly either, I respect you, you respect me. Personal information I will give is as follows: EST. Yeah, that's all your getting. =3 AnnotationsThis template was provided by Unnamed Mercenary and contains elements taken from both Roen Deneith and Coatleque Crofte. Thank you all! |
