Shigi is an ex-Qestir tribeswoman (tribesgirl?) who was shunned for her wish to speak. Unfortunately, she never gained a very good grasp on any language, able to speak most languages with varying fluency and cadence. She's anywhere from well-spoken to unintelligible, her speech tribal and simple most times, with many complex words escaping her. She tries out many disciplines, most recently dabbling in aetheric arts to a varying degree of success. Even for an Auri female, she's quite small, though far from frail despite this. Many other Xaela would likely spot her as a runt.

Shigi is very helpful and carefree, oftentimes offering help to others in a very naive and self-sacrificing way. Whether she is actually naive or simply has no true sense of self-preservation with other people is often the concept that brings itself into question.
