A Keeper of the Moon adopted by the Kha Tribe of Xaela in his infancy 26 years ago, Tarkhan knows nothing of his birth name and next to nothing about his parents. Having been raised as a member of the Kha, Tarkhan has grown and survived the trials of living on the Azim Steppe, and has been exposed the myriad cultures within and without Othard. An adventurous spirit has compelled him to travel the world, and wanting to know more of his origins, he has travelled westwards to Eorzea to learn more about his own race, and trace the origins of his mother.

Personality

A lifestyle that has involved interacting with many different people has made Tark experienced at going through the motions of social interaction, however, he is a naturally introverted and shy individual, taking time to make friends and truly warm up to new people. In contrast, learning to survive and hunt on the Steppes has made Tark very brave, he is not hesitant to fight if it means defending himself or those he cares about.

Tark is very persistent, he always seeks to improve his skills. He is driven by the desire to prove to himself that he is a worthy warrior, viewing every challenge as a trial that must be overcome in his journey. This stems from an inferiority complex; despite being raised and loved as much as any other member of his tribe, an incident in his adolescence that endangered the lives of both him and his adoptive sister has painted his view that there is always room for self-improvement, even if he has done something well.
