Tira is a young, loyal and ever-questioning Hyur of Gridania. Her youthful spirit has a yearn for adventure but is sometimes held back by her sense of responsibility to protect the Twelveswood. Although she usually seems hesitant to trust unfamiliar faces at first sight she can be naive and is quick to cast aside her doubts in order to see the good in people at the best and worst of times. She has great respect for those who are able to see beyond tragedy and trialing times and tends to have moments to take it upon herself to try and broaden her own mind and abilities. Raised and taught primarily in the field of archery and bardship. Aquired skills in close quarters combat but her strengths lay in the covert and supportive fields of battle. Most of Tira's training and work took place in Shroud/Gridanian terrain thus has come to obtain good skills in botany, leatherworking and weaving. A P P E A R A N C E "The girl with the green hair." A deinty and petite young girl with teal green coloured hair, tan skin, dark brown eyes with purple tattoos on either side of her face. Her facial features are soft and her doe-eyed innocent gaze would seem it could almost sway even the hardest of hearts. Hair often tied into a high ponytail with a braid crowning around the front of her head. A distinctive scar lies in the middle of her forehead from the hairline to above the nose. She likes to wear her sailor shirt and britches when she is to travel by airship alot for long periods of time but when home or in general, she is often in loose and comfortable clothing and some practical leathers for when she returns to the Shroud. A wooden talisman hangs from her neck with an engraving on the back that reads "My Little Leaf". H I S T O R Y Often evades the subject of her background should it ever be addressed by others in conversation. The little we do know about Tira is usually tiny bits of information she may give depending on the situation and environment. Born in a remote area of the Twelveswood and raised by two very loving parents. Her father a hunter for produce and her mother an astrology enthusiast and fortune teller. They often travelled and camped all throughout the great Shroud and so they were on the move quite a lot of the time. They lived happily for a short couple of years until a tragic wildfire spread through their encampment and allegedly claimed both Tira's parents as well as other campers nearby. How Tira survived is unknown as of yet but she was found and taken in by a compassionate Wood Wailer and placed the little leaf haired girl into a small orphanage ran by a kind Elezen matron. Tira has no known living relatives thus far. The only thing from her past that remains in her possession that she treasures dearly is the talisman pendant engraved "My Little Leaf" which she rarely removes from her neck. It would seem that she calls herself Tira 'Nophi' [no-fee] in honour of the deity Nophica.
