Nature, Personal, & Demeanor

Demeanor: Guarded, Honi is ever weary, even more so then your average adventurer. He has a tendency of being overly careful and is prone to taking his time when casting judgement upon others choosing to gather as much information before forming a solid opinion. He does enjoy a challenge and despite he relaxed approach to life, he can sometimes become reckless, driven by emotion then sound thought.

Nature: To those he chooses to become close to, he can be a thoughtful and trusting friend. In these moments, he can display a humorous side that few are privy to see.

Habits: Honi tends to narrow his eyes while in deep thought, his tail swaying in a lazy fashion. He is also prone to biting his lower lip as well while lost in contemplation. When angry, his often growls.

Notable Features

Common Appearance: Honi's complexion is sepia, adopting a reddish brown hue that compliments his golden eyes. His hair is dark with streaks of grey, a common trait with in his small community. Though slim, his bod,y like many Miqo'te, is muscled and well tuned to moving fast. His tail is longer and bushier then most of his kind, earning him the nick name of Little Wolf.

Scars & Markings: He carries the usual facial markings of his people, however like most male hunters from his clan he places red paint across his eyes. The ritual application of war paint to the face is regularly practiced before going on the hunt, a tradition symbolizing their readiness to stain their hands with blood, as well as sending a message to their gods that they are prepared to serve them as warriors in the afterlife should they fall. It is believed the vivid colors grant lunar powers.

Voice: Honi speaks in measured tones, thoughtful and careful to choose the right words.

Clothing: Honi holds no real attachments to finery, often choosing form over function. He has no real sense of fashion or style, wearing what is presented to him at the time if it is of better quality then what he currently wears. He has found though he is partial to clothing that is both of dark blue and yellow, finding the pairing appealing.

Prejudices

Like many of his people, Honi is weary of others though he does not find himself drawn to dislike anyone based off appearances or stereotypes. In that regard, he can be more open then his people tend to be as Keepers seem to keep to themselves. If there is one thing he hates with out question, would be flies, as he finds their existed a nuisance.

Strengths

Observant - Trained form childhood to hunt, he has a keen eye and sound hearing the is even skilled among his people.
Detective - Thanks to his skill in tracking and picking up the smallest of details, he is capable of gleaming much from the information presented to come to educated guesses which, more often then not, are correct.
Smell - He also has a rather keen sense of smell that has added him in hunting and when called for, sneaking upon fresh baked pastries while the baker remains on aware.
Self Confidence - He is sure of himself and what he is capable off, a trait which often leads him to victory or with the sense to flee when need be.
Archer - A life time using a bow has resulted in the masterful use of this weapon.

Weaknesses

Team Work - Honi often relies too heavily upon himself and because of this it takes a lot of effort for him to work with other people. Hunting with his clan came natural but working with others is proving hard.
Secretive - Because of his guarded nature, Honi is hardly ever quick to share anything about his past, choosing to focus on the moment.
Grump - He can be known to become grumpy if he has yet to eat.
Anger - Usually one to keep a cool head, he can become prone to bouts of anger given the right push. Because of this, he has been known to act with reckless abandonment.
Singer - He is terrified of singing which doesn't work to his advantage being that he will become a bard at some point.

Combat

Honi is able to keep a clear mind even during the most frightful or chaotic of situations. He isn't prone to panic which helps with his arrows finding their targets. Years of hunting has made him a masterful archer, and as he aims to explore the world he will only improve with time .

History

Born to the Keepers of the Moon, Honiahaka or as those in his clan call him, Honi the Little Wolf, knew no other life then that with in the Black Shroud. A simple life by most standards, he would have continued on serving as a hunter for his community if it not were for the disappearance of his elder brother. Often speaking of grand adventures once he was old enough to wander, his brother had left the forest they knew as their home sometime in the Seventh Umbral Era with hopes of making a name for himself as an adventurer. However with the calamity that befell the world, Honi lost touch with his brother and their clan lost one of it's brightest sons. Time passed and the wounds left by those no longer there would begin to heal however young Honi would one day come across a mysterious package addressed to him. With no idea who left it behind, the young hunter tentatively opened the parcel to discover the fine clothing of a master bard have been left for him. A single note had been left inside as well that read "I no longer need this so it is now yours." With the knowledge that his brother is still alive out there, Honi has left the forest to begin his own grand adventure.
