Vylette gives every impression of being a socialite, albeit one who sees fit to mingle with those of all stations. She befriends people from all walks of life, and perhaps it is the bard in her, but she has a way of adapting to make those around her comfortable and at ease. She typically presents a calm and collected set of mannerisms. Her actions seem to reflect high society and/or nobility, though she claims no noble birth or connection. She is kind, helpful and extremely polite in nearly all instances. She does have a playful or mischievous streak and while she respects more rigid or serious characters, she seems to enjoy teasing or engaging in playful banter. While she is polite, she seems to be unafraid of using words to cut someone down to size if they step out of line and will become rather sassy as the situation dictates. Addiitonally in times of great stress or annoyance she has been seen to lose her temper. Rare though this is, it marks a dynamic shift in mannerism.

Most of Vylette's background and history remains a mystery prior to her sudden arrival in Ul'dah approximately a year and a half ago. She was at the time a young musician dating a wealthy businessman in Ul'dah with connections to the jewelry and goldsmithing trade. She was well dressed and lived comfortably but it is unclear if it was due to this man or her own funds. Within a few moons of arrival the pair split and several moons later she was seen in the company of a blue-haired Seeker Miqo'te woman said to be her mate. Due to unknown circumstances the pair split just prior to their ceremony of bonding and the seeker has not been seen since.
Vylette claims her childhood home to be in the south Shroud, though she has mentioned “traveling” and other vague references. Her family history is likewise unknown, though she has made public claims about being trained as a priestess and little else. Her current family history or status is unknown.
Currently she maintains an apartment in the Goblet as well as a well apportioned office at her Free Company in the Mists. She is a known performer, playing regularly at Epoch tavern and also performing at various open engagements throughout the Mists, Goblet and Lavender Beds.
Note - This is left vague intentionally. I prefer details to be explored and learned through roleplaying. Also, keeping them scarce prevents metagaming. Personal RP Limits
■ I am an organic roleplayer I enjoy exploring in game and do not like to set up unrealstic scenes and one offs. I prefer to meet up naturally. While scenes and themes can and should be discussed prior and general times and such can be established, I like a natural flow.
■ I will play mature content and themes (violence, sexuality, drug / alcohol use) as long as they're logical in a plot-driven encounter. Coarse and excessive language. Temporary injury and incapacitation. Temporary imprisonment. Walk-up encounters where appropriate.
■ All actions are attempts If you want to hug, kiss, stab, shoot or otherwise perform any action that affects my character it is an attempt. I will afford the same courtesy to those I RP with. Every character has the ability to resist attempts provided it makes sense and is done in a natural way (IE - you can *try* to stab my character it does not mean you succeed, you can *try* to kiss my character but she can move her head and not allow it). God modding is bad.
