General Information
Zoktai is a man in his early forties who now seeks to live life as he sees fit. He's one known to lean back and let others play heroes and villains. Only taking action in politics when he deems it necessary. He refuses to risk the life of himself or those close to him without good reason. He's a business manger running several business under his company. '8-bits of Gil' Expanding across Limsa Lominosa and Girdania. He has a few goals which motivate his experiments.

Prideful ,but with restraint. Right handed. A huge one primarily across the left side of his chest. Two extreme dark circles under his eyes. A mix between Pirate and Doma fashion. In recent days some of his wears include foreign noble fashion as well.
Hair & Eyes
Both eyes are a deep crimson red. His pupils are small along with his iris giving him a stern gaze with a few wrinkles under them from long nights up looking over his research. He has an umbral ring in his right eye. His hair is graying from his old black luster the tint's of his father's red is still prominent in each of his tips. He wears it in a formal slicked back style to his neck to keep it out of the way during his experiments and tinkering. While his two horns jut out from it curved toward the front with a slight bent.
Physique & Markings
At 6 fulms and 10 ilms. His age doesn't quite show yet as Zoktai stands with confidence and vigor thanks to physical excerise he maintains to stay in shape. He's moderately toned not having any prominent muscles instead having a flat smooth body. This is interrupted by the scar across the left side of his chest as if it was a crater it's edges are cracked and jagged in design. That aside his scales are well kept to a dark shine his horns also gleam with a dark luster. His tail comes to 2 Fulms in length with 5 ilms in diameter as it protrudes from his lower back two spines decorate the base.

A Choker with a slide-able cover that clicks into place housing 3 soul crystals slots underneath.
A simple grey ring with a small Alchemist symbol plate.
A second ring this stretching over his finger with Doman designs
Zoktai activly keeps himself clean due to the chemicals he handles. The experiments he conducts and the meetings he must attend. Bathing at least twice a day if not more so. Even after exercise or other activities unless in bed he's one to take a bath after most activities. As for his attire he normally wears fashion close to a mix of Limsan and Doman wear fitting of a noble. The exception of this is his Magitek armor he only wears for expecting to go into battle. He never goes without some form of carry pouch for gadgets he made need later. He also always wear some sort of prescribed glasses/goggles.
Personality
Psychological Profile
Ambitious... as a youth growing up Zoktai has read book after book of the world at large. He wanted to go out and do more explore and make safe and comfortable living for himself and his family. With his parents death a reminder of the cruelty of fate he knew he had to make heavy profits to protect and maintain a lifestyle he enjoys.

Considerate... even though he's focused on furthering his own goals. He'll still assist those who turn a profit or feels like he shares a similar situation with as a youth. He's more inclined to help those he's familiar with then strangers. Even taking up arms against those he doesn't know to defend those he trust.

Persistent...when a profitable chance arrives he's willing to go an extra mile to achieve it. He's known to risk others to achieve these profits and willing to work on either side of the morality spectrum to determine whether he gets the end reward. His personality and mental state was first cultivated from his books then further refined through his interesting upbringing as a knight of the barracuda. He doesn't know how to treat other people properly only getting his knowledge from several books.

Vengeful...at older ages he grown prejudice against Isguardians and Dragons alike due to his appearance. He also has a seething hatred for those to steal from his coffers or take anything important away from him going to no end until he feels he's been paid back in full.
Voice
His vocie is mature and gruffy resonating calmly. It escalates to a roar with rough under tones when angered though. His whispers are usually from his throat as he tries to keep his voice from resonating by making him slightly husky.
Zoktai's views on life are simple at best. If it turns a profit, brings success, or helps someone he's bonded with he shall do it. Everything else false behind his goals whatever he achieves he focuses on it before moving on. Growing up and being on the sea taught him the truth about the world at least compared to what he's studied. He grown under the belief right and wrong is only relative to your perspective. One must be prepared to dirty their hands to acomplish what they feel is right. As long as you achieve your goal your right. IF you fail you did something wrong so try something new to try again. He's been out on the big blue more then enough times to reinforce his ideas. Hes prone to treat people fairly on how much they create success for him. However he is very vengeful when it retains two a lost of his profits or thievery of something important to him. His opinion on love and bonds is entirely based on books. Sometimes this is awkward when he applies it in real life even when he has the best intentions.

Non-Combat Abilities
Anatomy Studies: To better understand both wildlife and mortal races. He's done intensive studies into the anatomy of all known creatures in the realm. This lets him seek weak spots or know where to apply poison for disastrous effects to living creatures. This does not apply to the undead, undocumented creatures. If It's new to him he'll have no idea where to target besides going for obvious points.
Aetheral Arcanist Control: Tested time and time again his abilities in manipulating aether are powerful and well practiced. Able to control the amount inside of him. He disperses it well and has figured out a variety of uses for it in ways he sees fit. Casting spells however will come out with medicore results unless he has a grimoire at present allowing him to channel his spells properly. This is not without limits he cannot gather more of it where there is a lacking of Aether in the air. He can however drain it from another being to replenish his own supply with Life Drain.
Essence Mastery: He has gained a mastery over collecting ,summoning, and controlling Egi's essence. His various ordeals of seeing and fleeing. ( To the best of his ability or coming to fight off primals by necessity) He can use hand commands to control them as long as he's within 20 yalms within range of it. Any further and his connection will weaken lowering the strength of the Egi itself as well.
War Tactics Strategy books galore taught him various combat scenario's and techniques both on land and sea. These give him an edge in thinking of maneuvers in plans when put into combat or even espionage situations. He's studied into the lore of the Scholar yet has not found a soulstone for himself. He is familiar with the healing arts however.
Medicine Specialist: Studies of alchemist formulas allows him to have a vast knowledge on most remedies and tonics. He can't cure everything but probably has a book on most well known diseases and can make a cure for anything listed.
Poison Resistance Due to self-testing, trial and error, and a little genetics. He has a heavy poison tolerance for most common place poisons. For stronger dosages he still suffers effects yet weakens them considerably.
Combat Abilities
Essence Weaponry: 6 Years in development after his experience at cartenaeu he needed a counter measure for close combat. By condensing the egi's aether into a new shape he can create a temporary Aetheral weapon. It last from 3-12 hits depending on the weapon and egi in question. The surroundings,amount of aether available, and his own condition effect how well he maintains it as well. The Weapons Currently Include: Ifrit's Fist, Titan's Armor, Garuda's Grieves, Leviathan's Knives
Martial Arts: New to the martial world he only focuses on punching arts to use his Ifrit's fist to dart about and punch with fiery aether fist. This style focuses on dishing out blows while dodging incoming ones with weaving short hops thanks to foot work. A special move of his is the CrossXCounter in which he risk dodging at the last second to counter with a decisive blow. This has a high chance of failing causing him to take the full impact of the strike and is only used as a last resort.
● 'Special' Ammunition: With his tinkering he has made a variety of specialized bullets, grenades, and other gadgets to assist them as he explores. Some examples are: Morbol Grenade, Hallucination Smoke Bomb, Ignition Bomb, Mire Bullets.
Mathematical Enchantment: Using a theory of his own design in gemortic physics. His arcanistry is dastardly potent. If given time to form new calculations. He can even weave his poisons on top of others to boost his own spells rate of damage. Shorter calculations render his magic weaker but quicker to cast.
Fear Burst: When going against an opponent and his post traumatic stress is activated he gets a surge of Aether And Boost in his all his abilities. This is for an extremely short time (3 minutes Max) however as he soon gives way to fear and is reduced to a cowering from the source of said fear.
OOC Note
I understanding fighting happens it's a part of Eorzea's Life. Zoktai is not one to go straight into fighting physically. He almost if not always loses that way. If he can he'll first resort to sabotage before bringing his fist into it. I personally prefer using the first to 3-7 wins using rolls to determine the outcome of fights ,but im also wiling to do preplanned endings or even discuss other ways to determine a fight!

8-bit Of Gil
Management... 8-Bit Of Guil is a independent managing company under Zoktai's ownership stationed in the Lavender Beds. Inside not only does it contain a housing complex for workers. IT has an office, a lounge,a meeting area, as well as a crafting hub for handling goods. This is a central point where mercenaries are given missives to assist with business under this corporation as well as other businesses that need extra muscle or materials and such.

Currently under this company he owns four businesses.
Zetsubou Tavern
Management... A Bar with open stage on the bottom floor, a Caffe on the second and living quarters as well as his personal lab. This is his secondary source of income more often in not to fund it's self and his research. IT is handled by his personal retainers as well as hired workers. He host a personal questing board sanction by the adventurers guild to help those who can't afford guilds prices and such handled quest of their own accord. The lab on the top floor has his personal bookshelf, a bench for tinkering as well as desk for writing alchemist furnace and a pressurized Gordian compressor.
