E'salih Goldenbough --- The son of a well-to-do Limsan merchant and her miqo'te wife, E'salih has lived a life of ease and contentment far from the wildlands and clan structure of his kin. Friendly and well-meaning, E'salih suffers from the perennial naiveté imparted by an upbringing far from hardship. As he begins to set foot outside the comfort of home and hearth, E'salih is slowly discovering pieces of himself never brought to light - a wanderlust and a longing for exploration that's now making itself known. An extrovert simply suffering from misplaced anxiety, Salih is rarely one to turn down new friends or new experiences - as long as they're not particularly dangerous. His attitude is generally amiable, and he takes pleasure in many of the disciples Limsa Lominsa is known for; he can often be found on the lower decks of the city, fishing to his heart's content, and often ventures out of the city in search of particularly out-of-the-way fishing holes. Well-read and well-educated, Salih is smart, but lacks the wisdom that exploration and hardship afford. As of late, Salih has struggled with anxiety and self-doubt surrounding decisionmaking regarding his future. Though a part of him longs to strike out on an adventure, worries over his role in his mother's business and for his own competency plague him. About
E'salih stands at a surprising 5'8". Despite the few inches he might have on many of his Seeker kin, this does little to help him cut an imposing figure, dwarfed as he is by the Sea Wolves and Highlanders that call Limsa their home alongside him. His skin is dark, owing both to genes and the healthy tan the sunny port city affords to Eorzeans of his trade. The physical work he does entails other benefits; namely, a strength somewhat uncommon in non-adventurers. Though he may lack the know-how to put that muscle to its most effective use, the short-sleeved and V-necked garments he takes to wearing do little to disguise the strength of his upper body. His eyes, at a glance, seem a pale green, though on closer inspection one is ringed by a pale golden halo. Dark markings typical of his heritage adorn the corners of his eyes, and a smattering of dark freckles dusts his cheeks and the slight curve of his nose. Black hair falls to below his shoulders, rarely pulled up into a messy ponytail or bun.
Voice: Friendly and warm, male sylvari without the British accent Clothing: Comfortable collared shirts, vests, work pants & boots, occasional simple golden jewelry
