Character

Appearance
Edalyne is on the taller end of the spectrum for Midlander Hyur. There is nothing particularly noticeable or striking with her, however. Her hair is black, cut in a mostly-neat bob, her eyes are a simple brown, and her skin a pale-but-healthy pink. She has no obvious scars or birthmarks, and she is mostly visibly un-muscled.
Often, Edalyne's fashion sense is questionable and odd. She seems to favor dark and rich colors, and, predictably, she likes her expensive fabric. Rarely is she seen with anything other than a basic weapon.
Behavior
Rarely completely sober and with a penchant for lewd jokes, Edalyne is most at home in taverns. Although she does seem to possess manners better befitting the higher class, her love of that listed previously keeps her in more bawdy places. Despite - or perhaps because of - her habits, she carries an air of haughtiness and arrogance that flares almost as temperamentally as her pride. Still, she seems to enjoy the company of all sorts of crowds, and she seems to be able to temper such traits... usually.
History
There do not appear to be any written records, military or otherwise, of Edalyne Aedonin in any city-state until recently, when she began to apply to guilds. She will rarely reference her past in anything other than anecdote, but when asked where she is from, she will often reply with, "Ul'dah, or thereabouts."
Skills
Crafting
Edalyne is exceptionally skilled at weaving, although what she produces could easily be considered odd. She favors wearing her handmade clothes, and she rarely does outside orders. Additionally, she seems to have a talent with goldsmithing, and rudimentary skills in cooking and alchemy.
Gathering
In spite of being terrible in anything regarding mining or fishing, Edalyne has a small knowledge of plants. While she never gathers them herself, she can identify general characteristics and seems to be working on bettering her knowledge of such things.
Combat
While not exactly secretive, Edalyne rarely, if ever, talks about her combat abilities in public. She seems to know a large amount about spell-weaving and theory, but little on the semantics regarding them. When she does have a weapon, she carries a grimoire, although she seems to have a penchant for accidentally setting things on fire. Her skills with mending are non-existent, however, and any complicated melee combat seems to be beyond her.
Companions
Though rarely seen, Edalyne has two carbuncles: a gentle, adorable blue one and an angry, mean golden one. She can sometimes be found with a male elezen almost twice her size, the clan of which could not easily be determined at first glance.
