Lili Mhala was born and raised on the streets of Ul'dah. As a baby, she was sold by her parents to a wealthy Stranger so they could afford food. The Stranger performed many experiments on Lili as she grew older, grooming her to be a perfect courtesan, and to satisfy his own sick curiosities concerning the Void.
After many years of The Stranger's sick experiments, Lili managed to escape her former life with the help of her friend Sieglinde Volsung. Lili lived with (and worked for) Sieglinde for three years before Lili fell in love with one of Sieglinde's business contacts. Sadly, it wasn't meant to be.
Lili has had several ups and downs in her life, and now she is trying to be a good wife to her (soon-to-be) husband, Loronus Deatro, by abstaining from tons of casual sex, alcohol and drug abuse.

Biography
The Stranger
- Lili never knew her parents names, and was sold by them only a few days after birth. She was sold to an unknown person, whom Lili only knows as "The Stranger" and "Master." The Stranger had bought Lili in hopes of grooming her to be his perfect and ideal wife, to satisfy his lust and his sick curiosities. At an early age, she was infused with voidsent blood and subjected to other forms of experimentation regarding the void. The experiments soon became just normal life for the young Lili, and no longer objected to the pain and humiliation they offered.
Life with Sieglinde
- Lili had lived with The Stranger until around her 18th summer of being alive. The supplier of The Stranger's goods soon discovered what sick things were happening within the confines of his lab. Sieglinde Volsung was this woman. Sieglinde then purchased Lili from him, and hired her on as her personal aide. Lili was removed from the daily and nightly torture, and instead sought out to find new ways to harm herself. It was the only thing she ever knew, and adjusting to a free lifestyle was quite the challenge. For over three years, Lili worked for Sieglinde, trying to repay the debt for saving her life years earlier. Lili never had any formal schooling, and much to Sieglinde's dismay, didn't take to learning from books too well. About the only skill Lili had was that of the adult nature. She had been performing sexual acts all her life, thus she began to work for Sieglinde as a courtesan
