History
Early life:
On the 17th sun of the 4th Umbral Moon 1552 in a grass field inbetween the lands of Gridania and Ala Mhigo. An adventurer stumbles upon a basket from which the sounds of a crying infant could be heard. Beside the infant lied a hooded woman who appeared to be breathing her last few breaths. The adventurer quickly sets up camp attempting to nurse the woman but her strength was already gone and the light had already began to leave her eyes. Before she passed, she explained that fleed from Ala Mhigo, the city that was suffering under the rule of the Tyrant Theodoric. With her final words she pleaded the adventurer to aid her son. The adventurer agreed to take care of the woman's son and upon hearing his words the woman smiled and slowly laid to rest.
The adventurer from then onwards took the child under his wing and named him Lysian. The child that had brown and green hair, eyes of pure emerald and sunkissed skin bore a strange birthmark resembling two stars on his cheek.
The adventurer often took jobs around Gridania and the surrounding towns, sometimes asking the inn to take care of Lysian while the adventurer went and completed his work.
One night in a strange dream, the adventurer sees a vision of Nymeia the godess of fate listening to the cries of Lysian's mother pleading to spare their lives. Nymeia showed the mother mercy and weaved the fabrics of fate so that she may escape Ala Mhigo. Although fate is something that not many can escape. After the visions of the past, Nymeia speaks to the adventurer.
"The child's mother was shown mercy, that she would not die under the hands of the tyrant but to die nonetheless. The child however, the one who was fated to die as well did not. The outcome of his fate rests in his will to survive" The adventurer was adamant to keep this vision a secret from the child as long as he lived.
Current:
19 years passed since the Adventurer saved Lysian. Throughout the years he was taught the ways of the bow and a sense of familiarity with the forests and shrouds surrounding Gridania. Lysian one day decides that he wants to carve his own path following the footsteps of the Adventurer. The adventurer both happy and with a heavy heart agrees to Lysian's wishes while still not informing him about the fate that he is cursed with. After leaving the Adventurer, Lysian himself began to have strange hazy dreams of a cloaked woman pleading, her words inaudible but another voice from the distant dream would always echo in his head

Personality
Lysian is an energetic and lively young man. He is known to always be jumping and sprinting whenever he's on a job but also takes time to take slow strolls when he has the time to. Despite his energetic and lively appearance, Lysian often finds himself to be lonely and envies the affection and love that he sees that people or families share with each other. Hence Lysian alleviates this loneliness by being a presence that people would have fun being with and also by helping people in need during his volunteer scoutings around the shrouds surrounding Gridania.

Archery: Lysian is an experienced archer due to his times with the Adventurer. While he is not the best at his trade, his skills are prominent and worth of notice.
Scouting: Lysian is has a keen sense of awareness and can notice even the tiniest brushing of leaves in the forest

Affiliations
God's Quiver: Lysian as soon as he arrived in Gridania offered his skills and talents to aid the God's Quiver. While he is not an official member of the organization, he often volunteers for odd jobs and small scouting duties. This is where he aquired the nickname 'The Midnight Star' as some of the fellow God's Quiver members associate him with his star birthmark and his eagerness to take on scouting duties which generally happens to be midnight shifts.
