Appearance
His dark blue hair is jaggedly cut, the uneven strands frame an androgynous face that has a feminine cast. Round cheeks, a snub nose and pointed chin give him the appearance of youth, and are contrasted by full, naturally dark lips and vibrant blue eyes framed by a thick black fringe of lashes. The tiny miqo'te is skinny, though he has the impression of being dainty rather than gaunt. His fingernails are also naturally dark, and he keeps them long and manicured. Though his hair is haphazardly cut, and he's indifferent to his apparel, he is fastidiously clean. He has a thin scar that runs all the way across the front of his throat.
Personality
Michi is soft spoken, and very polite with a restricted affect. He often smiles and laughs in the company of those with whom he feels comfortable, though it's uncommon in the presence of strangers. He very rarely displays anger, but when he does it's incredibly explosive. Conflict tends to set him on edge and he will attempt to withdraw, if unable to do so, he will simply shut down and refuse to engage on any level, unless there is a clear and mortal threat. He will often choose to listen to conversations, with an occasional addition, rather than participate actively. Though if you can get him to engage on a topic that interests him, he is animated and displays a bizarre intelligence and often boggling logic.
History
"What Has Gone Before"
Michi suffered a brain injury, much of his memory regarding his past has been disconnected. He remembers the events, but almost in an observer capacity, rather than a participant. Those few memories that are distinct, make him thankful that he doesn't have more clarity.
"The Nightmare City"
Some of his first clear memories are the dusty streets of Ul'Dah, specifically Pearl Lane. The tiny miqo'te didn't fare well on the rough side of the city and frequently found himself hiding behind crates and barrels, venturing out to scavenge for food. The exception was his daily visit, in the early morning, to the fountain at the Milvaneth Sacrarium. The miscreants were holed up for the day and the guard generally tallying their haul, monetary and other, from the previous night. It was on one such excursion that he met a bookish blonde miqo'te, with a face he knew, but not from where, or why. E'lario. The name evoked an image of an open book. With no small amount of coaxing, the Seeker was able to get the blue haired miqo'te to return with him to the small estate that housed his business.
"A Brave New World"
Once at the house he began to open up a little. While still skittish and meek, he started to take up household tasks, small at first - like tidying E'lario's office and organizing his small library. And after a short time began to cook in the small kitchenette downstairs. His life at the house was quiet, study and aether tests performed by E'lario, with the exception of a few weeks in the fall, that culminated in his being savagely beaten and buried alive by a psychotic voidsent masquerading as a miqo'te.
As a way to help him recover, and to keep him busy, one of the storerooms was cleared out and remodeled into a kitchen. Michi discovered that not only did he enjoy cooking, but he also had quite a knack for it. The trauma gradually faded, and he started to recover his sense of self.
"Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow"
Michi is much changed from the fragile little miqo'te that was brought to the house. He's the caretaker of the library, and lead reasearcher for Golden Coeurl. He also handles much of the more tedious aspects of the business: accounts, inventory, payroll, so that E'lario and Dietrich can both have more time to pursue their specialities. He still cooks for the small company, but it's now more of a creative outlet and relaxing pastime.
