Current Info
Morelle is a 24 year old Elezen female. Currently, she lives a somewhat nomadic life, living in various parts of the Black Shroud or squatting from place to place around Gridania. She has dedicated herself to the art of archery as she is proficient with a bow.
History
Upbringing
Morelle's upbringing was fairly regular but by fairly irregular parents. While Her father taught her basic survival skills, he also taught her the art of grifting by frequently using Morelle as a part of his cons. Her mother taught her courtesy when conversing with others and education while simultaneously teaching her to talk her way out of predicaments.
Calamity
The night of the Calamity, Morelle slipped out of her clan's dwelling to enjoy the night. She had been contemplating running away from her home to escape an arranged marriage that was to take place the next day. Due to her clan's dwindling lineage, it had been placed on Morelle's shoulders to marry and keep the bloodline, in lue of surname, going. When the Calamity struck, Morelle raced home to find it empty of any occupants with no trace of either parents. Morelle was struck in the head and rendered unconscious by a fallen branch on her way from escaping the fire that raged near her home.
The next five years
Morelle spent a good deal of time searching for leads to either her parents whereabouts or confirmation of their demise. In the last two years, Morelle has given up as her efforts have yielded nothing.
Beliefs/ Morality/Lifestyle
Morelle is a loose follower of the deity Nymeia the spinner. She will pray to the goddess and turn and curse her in the same breath in most instances. Her choice of worship is mostly influenced by her clan as Nymeia is Clan Noire's patron deity. Her moral compass is generally guided by any situation and its possible outcomes. Her worship of Nymeia sometimes effects her decisions and actions.Living the life of what some might call a "petty thief", Morelle has no shame about how she makes her gil. She has been known to hold honest work but only rarely and for short periods of time. Her "morality" keeps her from out and out bow-point robbery, but tends to stick to smooth talk,grifting, and sometimes impersonation as a means of income.

Family
- Father: Tristaux Noire: A confident grifter with a patient manner but quick to cast blame on others for his own short comings. Arranged the marriage between Morelle and her intended while cursing the deity for not blessing him with a son. Disappeared during the Calamity. It is unknown if Tristaux is alive or dead.
- Mother: Solette Noire: A quiet mild mannered woman. The quintessential homemaker. Disappeared during the Calamity. It is unknown if Solette is alive or dead.
As far as she knows, she is the last of her clan/bloodline, though relatives may exist. ((This is open to anyone who wishes to RP as such.))
Interactions with others
Morelle generally comes off as brash and "all knowing" to the point of being called immature by most. On rare occasions, Morelle can make a good first impression. She can be down right rude at times due to her brutal honesty and slip of the tongue racism that was instilled in her from childhood by her father. Though, over the years, she has gotten better at either holding her tongue or changing her point of view altogether. She is heavily guarded emotionally and sees trust as being both an asset and heavy liability. Generally, she does not make a habit of interacting with the same person twice, if she does it's because that person has either made a significant impression on her or has become of some use to her. In the context of romantic encounters, Morelle is heterosexual and prefers monogamy over promiscuity though she is not currently romantically involved.

Quirks/Habits
- Sometimes talks in riddles to either gauge a person's intelligence or to talk her way out of situations.
- Has a strange aversion to Miqo'te hair. It makes her nose itch uncontrollably.
- Is a big eater. She can eat very fast and put away large portions.
- Over prepared for all situations to the point of obsession.
