A Bad Basilisk Babe!

Basic Info

Just a small town girl, if by 'town' you mean the desert, and by 'girl,' you mean a tribal huntress. Still, P'ashara is just starting out in this big, wide world, having left her tribe less than two months ago. Currently, she's on the road to see some cool things, meet some cool people, and if Azeyma favors her, find the Nunh of her dreams.

Appearance & Personality

P'ashara is tall for a miqo'te woman, though, that being said, this only translates to about 5'4”. She is nubile and healthy, exuding an easy, supple vitality. Hale and agile, this Sunseeker has a runner's build and an overall athleticism that gives her an aura of strength. Her skin is dark, almost mocha, and is peppered here and there with the small marks and tiny scars one might receive from outdoor living, though one scar of note is a little knick across the bridge of her nose. Hair and tail are strawberry, laced with streaks of gold. She's usually got an affable smile and looks on the world with a mismatched gaze: one copper and one golden eye.
In manner and speech, P'ashara appears confident and self-assured. She seems to put a lot of weight in first impressions, and may seem judgmental if she is unimpressed. She holds others to high standards, especially other Sunseekers. She is a traditionalist and values tribal customs.
P'ashara is straightforward, fun, and possesses a tenacious streak. She is someone you'd want as a drinking partner and also at your back when the chips are down. Though she's not reckless, exactly, she also isn't afraid to get involved, especially as she has high confidence in her own strength.
The gal actually possesses a good amount of common sense, though she has a limited world-view from which to act and rationalize from.Socially, she takes people at face value and feels devastated if she is betrayed or deceived by someone she considers a friend. She values loyalty and honesty. Temperance is not her strong suit. She struggles with keeping her mouth shut when she feels provoked or insulted.
Despite her tough, fun-loving exterior, P'ashara can become depressed without frequent interaction with friends, other Miqo'te, and loved ones. Having spent her entire life in the company of a bevvy of sisters and aunts, she has a hard time dealing with prolonged periods of isolation.

Skills

P'ashara possesses a range of skills typical to a Sunseeker huntress, though her specializations come from the specific conditions she hunted and tracked in.
Badass
MARKSMANSHIP
Desert terrain makes longer-range bows more practical. She's great with long-distance targets, though recently she has been working with shorter bows and learning to range in forest terrain.
ENDURANCE
Big prey doesn't die easy. A good tactic for a lone hunter is to run prey to exaustion, so P'ashara is capable of running or walking long distances for a long time. She has a ground-eating gait when she gets into it, and can even keep up with chocobos on stretches of clear terrain (for awhile).
TRACKING/SCOUTING
Scents, sounds, signs, and instinct. She excels in desert tracking, of course, but has been learning more about forest ranging.
CHRONICLE KEEPING
P'ashara is the chronicler of her tribe, entrusted with the stories and histories of her people and tasked to preserve them in verse and song. Since leaving the tribe, she passed this responsibility to her sister, but she retains an ability to memorize complicated information and repeat it back (but only if she fashions it into verse or music).
Pretty Okay
GUARDING/PROTECTION
She's had one job in this field so far.
SPEAR HUNTING
Her younger sister is a lot better at this, but P'ashara can manage with a spear well enough not to embarrass herself.
DYE MAKING
Her tribe specialized in three or four particular colors, made from materials in their territory. P'ashara also possesses these secret recipes and sometimes makes a batch if she needs money.
STRATEGY & TACTICS
She's not exactly the next Immortal Flames general, but her lifestyle demands a certain amount of foresight, intuition, and planning.
INTIMIDATION
You don't want to get on her bad side.
Sucky
SUBTERFUGE
Though she doesn't always draw attention, she also is terrible at lying and deception.
POLITICS
Nope. Just nope.

Biography

Family

P'ashara was born to the Basilisk tribe, located somewhere on the Sagolii coastline, on a stretch of protected mud flats. Born of P'ari, Nunh of the tribe for twenty seven years, and P'galana, her mother, P'ashara is one of eleven sisters borne by eight “aunts” (some related to her mother, some not). Her sire bestowed his tribal identifier as well as his name (Pari, instead of Ari), saying she would be twice blessed. She also has two brothers.

History

Her upbringing was typically Sunseeker. Along with her sisters, she grew up to hunt, worship Azeyma, and embody the values her tribe held close. Though somewhat small, numbering under thirty members, this Basilisk tribe is very close-knit. P'ashara had a happy, pleasant life, surrounded by the love and guidance of her many family members. Thus, it leaves her confused and conflicted when she meets other Sunseekers who have bad tribal experiences. However, the three older sisters of this tribe have a particularly strange problem: they were all sired by P'ari. As they are coming into a breeding age, and the Basilisks do not favor interbreeding, P'ashara has taken it upon herself to set out into the world to find a nunh and a tribe suitable for her to join, with the goal of introducing some of her sisters in the future as well.

Present

Ever exacting, and having had an excellent role model on which to base her ideal of a good nunh, P'ashara seeks a tribal leader who is not only strong, wise (and handsome would be nice), but also has a collection of mates who add to his strength. Just as important as the nunh are P'ashara's potential sisters, and her relationship with them is actually almost MORE important. So, with these things in mind, P'ashara is on the road to find what she's looking for. More and more, however, she is coming to realize there is a lot more to see in this world and often finds herself distracted from her mission.
