Character

General

A Lalafellin tailor with an unquenchable curiosity when it comes to most anything. Commonly found roaming through the cities, as well as in the Lavender Beds. She does most of her weaving work through the Weavers' guild.

Appearance

Ruruni stands a bit short for a Lalafell, with a light dusting of freckles on her face and bright sea-green eyes. She has thick, naturally wavy hair that is a bit of a dark, dusty shade of red, and is often kept in a variety of styles. Her posture is proper and straight, and she speaks softly. Currently, her hair is getting quite long, and she usually keeps it up to keep it out of her face.

Behavior

Naturally warmhearted, Ruruni has a weak spot for people in need, sometimes to her own detriment. She is optimistic at heart, and she's always looking for the best in people. She has a tendency to stare at people, especially if she finds them interesting, and she gets flustered if this is pointed out. When alone, she's almost always happily humming some tune, especially when she is working with cloth or reading. Some seem to find her to have almost a motherly aura of sorts.

She does tend to have moments where a more melancholy side shows through, though she tries to stifle it best she can.

When working with people in a professional sense, she often acts in a much more blunt and straightforward fashion--and in the case of her healing work, scolding people.

Combat

General

Though she once feared using her own magic, she has since, for the most part, conquered this fear. She knows healing magic, but her main offense is thaumaturgy. As she has also had physical training, she is quick on her feet and can defend herself in close quarters if need be, but could be easily overpowered if her movement is restricted. When pushed, she can be rather vicious, and will not let up until the fight is over. This tends to cause her to disregard most injuries she receives, often leading to a very painful aftermath for her.

Family

• Zozoma Zoma- Ruruni's mother. A strict thaumaturge. Ruruni once wanted to be just like her, and was willing to do anything to make her proud. Presumed dead.
• Viviloto Sasaloto- Ruruni's (half-)brother. A man who rarely takes himself seriously. Ruruni holds him in high esteem, as he was her only friend for a long time. Alive and well.
• Nonotome Tototome- Ruruni's father. A priest of Nald'thal who makes really good tea and omelettes. Ruruni has a lot of admiration and respect for him, despite the circumstances surrounding her birth.
• Nonope Nope- Ruruni's half-sister. Ruruni is definitely not envious of the trouble Nonope finds herself in because of her adventuring work. She does get worried, however. Especially worried about Nonope's life expectancy.
• Bahoy Dalahoy- Ruruni's Plainsfolk husband-to-be. Ruruni wants nothing more than to ensure happiness for the both of them, and she feels blessed to know him. She often wonders what she did to deserve him.

Friends

• Marina D'arca- One of Ruruni's closest friends. Ruruni thinks of Marina as something akin to a sister, gravitating to her side whenever she's nearby.
• Momoro Momo- An eccentric Lalafell with a strange sense of humor. Ruruni enjoys her company, as well as her constant chatter, and she's pretty sure Momoro's joking about pushing her down stairs.
• Nananomi Nomi- Ruruni considers Nomi to be a good friend (and sparring partner), though she worries about his health quite a bit. She absolutely will hunt him down to force feed him soup if he gets sick.
