Ryoko Masae
Ryoko Masae was born and raised in Kugane. Her Father was a Samurai while her Mother was a commoner. Her lifestyle was lavish, as her Mother died in childbirth, leaving her Father to raise her on his own. He raised her to have an open mind, and experience what savvied her interest. She grew an interest to the Kami which were all around in her world. She later learned of the Omnyoji who get to cleanse the world of the taints which plagues their home and help those who are ill. Thus, Began her journey to become a Priestess.
Dedication, practice, and some help with her Father's social status, Ryoko began to grow in popularity. In her Mid-Twenties, she decided to look for a man to wed. Her Father, was supportive and offered suggestions. She found what she was looking for, and wed two summers later. Her life was going the way it was supposed to be going.
Ryoko, Her Husband, and her Father went on their pilgrimage to pay their respects to their Kami. They believed to be as prepared as they could be, but they were not. As the group trekked along a steep and narrow path, Ryoko went first as she was smaller and more nimble than her Husband and Father. She was the first to make it, and the only one who did. Her family was crushed by boulders that had came loose by rainfall, crushing them in a cruel twist of faith. Wrought with grief, Ryoko attempted many a method to bring them back, to no avail. Now, she wears a smile to hide away her sins.

- I'm more than happy to play a support character in your story.
- I prefer it when people send me tells before the walkup to make sure I am available and actually there.
Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):
I have a preference for heavy roleplay; however, with a new job that works me many night shifts, and my endless multitasking I so often do, it becomes difficult for me to focus a lot. So, if you see I'm slightly responsive or slow during a walk-up, please keep this in mind! However, do not fear, I won't turn down a walk-up even if I have to play my way out of the situation. I'll try to let you know OOCly.
Views on RP combat and injuries:
Ryoko as a character is the kind of character that would not get involved in a fight directly, she's not a combatant; however, as a player, I enjoy RP Combat. I have a heavy preference for dramatic battles which result in injuries which are sometimes permanent. If you want to include me in a fight, please reach out to me OOCly first, so that we can coordinate on our preferences in style.
Views on IC romance:
Writing a good story requires without a single doubt romance as a moving factor. However, I will by no means allow for my character to become involved with the character of a player who refuses to communicate, to avoid any drama.
Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
Yes. Yes. Yes. I'd love to have someone play a family member of Ryoko, this is something that I've been looking to get; however, just like above, I have a strong preference for experienced players that are willing to coordinate and make things work. If you're interested, please send me a tell so that we can discuss further.
Views on lore:
I love the lore; however, I love the idea of clever lore bending. I'm by no means an expert in terms of lore, so I'm always looking to talk with people that know more than me about the lore.
Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
I have a preference for public Roleplay, but only if it's not a bother to others. If you see me using quotes or narrating, that means that I'm IC. If you see me using (( brackets )), that means I'm OOC. Pretty standard
I try to keep my /say and /tell IC when possible. However, I'll sometimes end up having to respond to a non-Roleplayer in /say without the OOC marks. Linkshells should be IC or OOC, but never a mix. Voice chat is OK, but always OOC.
