With a devilish, inquisitive spark in her eyes and a mind for business, one can't be sure if this woman is trustworthy or not at first glance. Her demeanor is somewhat eccentric, but oddly friendly, polite, and flirtatious. Seeking to allure, her words will almost always be carefully picked to sell herself, keeping them loosely laced with a seductive undertone and a smile full of promises. Whether it's entertainment, services, or simple conversation, she's always looking for something.

Born into wealth, the girl is a result of generations of old money, and she plays the part. With a perfectly straight posture and a chin held high, it's rather obvious she was raised and spoiled as a single child. Sassy, flirty, and a bit vain, one will surely be able to pick her apart from the crowd.

Sasha Elizabeth Rochester was born on the 1st Sun of the 5th Astral Moon, 1557 6AE in Ul'dah. She is the sole heiress of the R&R Shipping Company, a trading empire inherited by her mother and brought to flourish by her father.

The information given here is very limited, as I don't want to risk people metagaming, if you're interested in more obscure aspects of her past and personality, it's best to befriend her ICly.

Sasha Rochester by Soranamae.jpeg

The first thing most people tend to notice is her hair, long, willowy, and sleek. An ashy light brown which then fades to white towards the tips. The change of colour is very gradual, so the possibility of the colouration being a result of an unkept dye-job seems highly unlikely.

Bright green eyes peer at the world between thick, dark eyelashes. Reddish, plump lips seem to be perpetually showing a hint of a devious smirk. With high cheekbones and a small jaw, her features come off as very feminine and delicate. There isn't a single blemish on her skin, except for a white birth mark on her left cheekbone. Despite this, the woman tends to burn rather easily, so she usually stays indoors to avoid any unwanted sunburns. Her skin is very pale and clear, almost like porcelain, there’s almost a ‘transparent’ quality to it that makes her veins easily seen in areas like her wrists and chest.

Fitness wise, all the constant travelling and going on expeditions has made it pleasantly toned. However, due to recent health problems she has lost a bit of muscle and overall weight, as she’s hardly eating, and when she does, it’s pastries and wine. She’s still slim and toned, but not as healthy looking as she used to be. When it comes to her proportions, her figure is very much feminine and hourglass, with ample hips, a small waist, and generous curves.

She has a tendency to go for deep, dark, and rich colors. Her style is usually luxurious but provocative, something that could generally be associated with a high-class courtesan, opting for expensive fabrics and figure-fitting styles. She may occasionally change her style to suit the mask she puts on for certain individuals, making it difficult for some to tell what her taste in fashion truly is.

Sasha is an extremely vain character, considering her appearance to be her most valuable tool. This results in going to great extents to keep it up, and she will become very fastidious if she isn't pleased with the way she looks.

Equipped with smooth words, a disarming smile, and a keen eye for what she can use to her benefit, she sees the world as her playground for lies and deception. Her demeanor is pleasant and charming, always keeping a friendly though somewhat distant disposition. Seductive, provocative and perhaps a little cheeky, she takes pleasure from keeping others off-balance.

To those she can benefit from, this mask will be kept almost permanently plastered on her face, always willing to please and seduce. Analytical to the core, she will inspect and morph into what she believes others expect her to be, from the foolish, harmless damsel in distress, to the cunning archmage. Give her a stage she desires and she will put on a show. To her, all truths are malleable and easily bent, words are nothing but child's play. People she considers fools or threatening will see another side of her, however. And they will soon discover that the coy smile bears sharp teeth and a sharper tongue. While she doesn't seek to harm, her patience is often limited towards those she deems incompetent, and her sweet words will turn into bitter sarcasm and condescending arrogance.

Due to a distaste towards violence, she has a strong inclination towards battles of wit when facing conflict. Sasha also implements under-handed tactics, and more than anything, persuasion. She sees fists and blades as the arms of savages, and will frown upon those who see them as their first resort.

Despite her seemingly refined demeanor, she can be quite reckless and childish in her pursuit of magical power, having an absolute fascination for aetherial phenomena. She doesn't care that aether harms her. So long as she can feel the rush of magic surging through her veins, she will always be motivated to look for more. Due to her aetherial sensitivity, her obsession with magic has proven many times to be highly detrimental to her condition. She stubbornly insists on continuing to push herself further and further, caring not for the consequences.

Manipulative, self-destructive, scheming, secretive, and distrustful, it's easy to portray her under a negative light when people discover that part of her nature, but in her eyes, her tactics are nothing but a shell that protects her from a harsh, ruthless world. With few enemies and even fewer friends, she feels deep affection and loyalty towards those who choose to stand by her side, even after witnessing the best and worst of her.

Blessed with a talent for the aetherial arts, Sasha is a magic-user. However, regardless of her magical skills, aether has proven to be unreliable during multiple occasions, as it may sometimes weaken or even kill her. Despite looking somewhat toned, she's surprisingly frail, and not particularly quick on her feet. Anyone who can get past her magical barrier could easily kill her, if her condition doesn't do so first. So, how does she fight?

She doesn't.

Other people fight for her. If diplomacy doesn't solve the issue, she will resort to the aid of her allies, and only when she sees herself truly cornered will she take the risk of taking matters into her own hands. Depending on her condition, she may be meek as a mouse, or a force to be reckoned with. An intelligent hunter wouldn't take the risk of rolling the dice unless they knew her weakness. However, she always avoids conflict if she can, since she has a strong dislike for violence.

Magical

  • Arcanima. The only form of magic Sasha has truly nearly mastered, mainly due to the fact she was put undr strict magical training since she was a child. Her grandmother deemed Arcanima to be the most suitable form of magic for her, and to this day, she has yet to be proven wrong.
  • Thaumaturgy. She's an adept Thaumaturge, though she has mild difficulty controlling her spells, and seems to be a tad trigger-happy.
  • Conjury. Easily her second specialty (besides Arcanima) years of travelling and using healing to gain allies have turned her into a competent conjurer, though her relationship with elementals is likely to be strained in the near future.
  • Astromancy. While adept, Astromancy is Sasha's weak point when compared to other forms of magic, and she doesn't seem terribly interested in changing this anytime soon.

General

  • Alchemy. Sasha studied alchemy along with her magical studies, and is considered to be a competent alchemist.
  • Diplomacy. Raised in a family of businessmen and diplomats, she was raised to have tact when it's convenient to her. Unfortunately, her snarky attiude often surpasses her skill.
  • Lying. Her ability lies in the fact that she can temporarily convince herself that what she's saying is the absolute truth.
  • Manipulation. It's not beyond her to analyze her audience and morph herself into what she believes they will be most vulnerable to. While seduction is a common tactic, she can easily use others to get her way. Crying, using their past, exploiting their vulneraiblities-It's all a game to her.
  • Merchant's Eye. Sasha has a skill for spotting people that can be useful to her, and will go out of her way to befriend them for this purpose. She knows who or what will be beneficial, and isn't afraid to pursue it if it suits her needs.

FAMILY

X'elo Maimhov 💍💕💖⭐
Sasha's husband. It's rather obvious she is very fond of the bard, to the point she considers him a 'crippling weakness'. Unlike the vast majority of the people she has used in the past, X'elo is someone who can somewhat 'tame' and coax her. It's not very clear how this pair came to be together, to be truthful, people find their partnership almost comically bound for failure. By logic alone, they should hardly be able to tolerate each other, but somewhere along the line between all their adventures, struggles, and loneliness they found each other, and it just works. Despite the fact they seem very close, it hasn't stopped Sasha from hurting, betraying, and throwing him away in the past, leaving the bard heartbroken multiple times. Sasha currently seeks to make atonement for every time she wronged the man, but as guilt plagues her, so does her patience with him.
Paternal Grandmother. Caroline is likely the person who has the tightest strings on Sasha due to her power over the family alone. An ambitious scholar with a strong, nearly controlling personality. Caroline cares about Sasha as the last testament to her legacy and bloodline, and goes out of her way to make sure Sasha's path doesn't stray from her goals. Sasha and Caroline often clash, but it's often due to generational differences. While she'd never admit it openly, Sasha has a tremendous amount of respect and admiration towards Caroline, and often aims to try to best her, a task she considers nearly impossible.
Catherine Rochester 🔥⭐💛❌
Sasha's mother. Maiden name is Catherine Otrell. A talented diplomat and businesswoman with a knack for wordplay and manipulaiton. People often remark the similarities between Sasha and Catherine not only in looks, but in personality. Despite their similarities, they clashed a lot in her childhood and teenage years. Catherine's obsessively perfecitonist personality overwhelmed young Sasha, to make matters worse, Catherine often sought to distance Sasha from Caroline and magical pursuits altogether, mainly due to her condition and the threat magic posed for her health. While Catherine's intentions were noble and kind, the way she acted out made Sasha antagonize and fear her. After Catherine's husband died, she slowly began to go mad with loneliness, and sought to rebuild a relationship with Sasha. This failed. Catherine went too far and Sasha retaliated by killing her in the middle of a chaotic encounter. While Sasha remains a main suspect in her murder, there was too much evidence stacked against other witnesses to truly pursue justice. Deep inside Sasha knows that killing Catherine was too impulsive, but she refuses to think about the subject to prevent guilt from consuming her.
Emeryck Rochester 🔥⭐💗❌
Father. A kind man who was surrounded by women too driven for his own good. While a talented buisnessman, he often gave in to the whims of his mother and wife, something which frustrated both since they hated each other. Emeryck clearly loved Sasha, but he was completely out-of-touch with her reality or life. Their relaitonship considerably worsensed when Sasha revealed the fianceé he had picked for her attempted to rape her, something Edward was horrified by, but Catherine dismissed as a "selfish complaint". Being subservient to Catherine, he continued to push for the marriage to the point it drove Sasha to run away from her own home and disappear for over three cycles. On his deathbed he sought reoconciliation-but unfortunately Sasha didn't show. In a final attempt to reconcile with his daughter beyond the grave, he wrote a heartfelt letter apologizing for his failure to defend her. To this day, however, Sasha has yet to read that letter.
Uncle. In progress. Still testing the waters.
Ava Rochester 😊⭐
Aunt by Marriage. In progress. Still testing the waters.
FRIENDS
Issabel Drake 💚💗💋
Issabel and Sasha seem to have met almost by chance, and Sasha cares deeply about the woman despite their stark differences in morality and outlook. Issabel is kind and sweet, someone Sasha trusts deeply and unapologetically. However, Sasha's often reckless and insensitive attitude have caused more problems than she'd like to admit, which is why she started to distance herself from the tailor. Despite this, Issabel holds an important spot in Sasha's heart.

BUSINESS
Ibakha Dumet 🔔💚😊💗
Sasha's maid/bodyguard/retainer extraordinaire. The woman of a thousand jobs. Sasha has a soft spot for Ibakha, someone she ironically seeks to shelter and protect despite her employment. While she adores Ibakha, she also hides a great majority of the truth from her. In a way, Sasha knows that if the Xaela were to know about her crimes she'd never forgive her. It's a friendship founded in lies about Sasha's character, but they are lies she doesn't intend to reveal anytime soon.
Kire Zanuff 🔔⚫💛
Sasha's current bodyguard. A rude, bitter, cynical man with no attachment to anyone but coin. Sasha managed to employ him while he was working for someone who worked against her interests---Essentially buying him under her enemy's nose. Due to the circumstances of his employment, Sasha has little faith in his loyalty, but makes sure to pay him well enough to assure it. While she doesn't seem to mind his bitter, brash personality, people often clash with him. This doesn't stop her from hiring him, however, after all, he's is extremely effective at his job.
Adelard Praicard 🔔⭐💚😊💗
Sasha's main butler and head of security. A capable, intelligent, and discreet man who has known her since they were both young. People in the manor refer to him as "the magician" due to his capacity of handling nearly every problem brought to his attention. His loyalties lie more with the family than Sasha herself, however, which means unbeknownst to her, he may work against her interests if it means furthening those of the bloodline. Despite this, it's obvious Adelard and Sasha care deeply about each other.
K'rhaz Tia 🔔💛🔥
Sasha's secondary butler, or as the guards of the manor so charmingly call him, "Adelard's bitch". K'rhaz seems fairly laid back. In reality, he takes his job very seriously and boasts a perceptive mind and surprisingly keen intellect. While these traits are often sought out, it has led to minor clashing between him and Rochester. Sasha dislikes his ability to catch her in her lies, and especially dislikes the blatant way he calls her out- K'rhaz seems prioritize her security and well-being over her commands, much to her frustration. The only reason he hasn't been fired yet is because other household members seem to have a great respect for him. Despite this, there's a small part of Sasha that likes his personality, but this is often overshadowed by her frustration towards him.
Kikikiri Ririkiri 🔕💢😊
A former bodyguard of Sasha's. Kikikiri, while young, was always extremely effective, which is why Sasha assigned him a key role in framing someone for murder. Kikikiri played his part well, but grew disgusted as he began to see Rochester for what he considers her true colors. Since then, he has chosen to resign his job. They remain on polite terms, but rebuilding a friendship seems extremely difficult.

◢ Common Rumors - Easy to catch, feel free to use them.

"She's a vampire!" -- An idiot who reads the cruscible
"She's the kind of woman that exudes money, the truest representation of the Ul'dahn upper class. Quite disgusting if you ask me." -- Some bitter poor person.
"The woman seems a bit full of herself, does she not? Always keeping her chin up and speaking with an air of arrogance." -- A jealous woman, probably.
"Polite. Clearly well educated, but a tad too outspoken if you ask me." -- Boring elezen noble.
"I actually heard she's really nice. I don't think I've ever seen her being rude to anyone, plus, she's real pretty! I think people are just initmidated by her." -- Swooning clueless moron.

◢ Uncommon Rumors - You're either a decent informant or have keen ears. Ask first or use sparingly.

"I've seen her shift personalities in different company, not sure if it's her having mental issues or some fucked up tactic. I'd keep an eye out for the latter." -- Quicksand Patron
"Her grandmother is an extremely influential scholar in Sharlayan, Caroline Chamberlain. I kind of pity anyone related to that old hag though, her standards are above the rooof for her students, can't imagine what it's like for her own kin." -- Sharlayan Student.
"I heard she swives ALL her bodyguards. Heheheh, maybe I should submit an application?" -- Sleazy roegadyn who only thinks with his lower head.
"She has a real mean, sarcastic streak. I think she has little tolerance for buffoonery. I've heard she got into spats with figures of higher authority simply because she deemed them incompetent. She must be fun to be around. " -- Lalafell who may or may not be sarcastic.
"Apparently she's married to some miqo'te halfbreed. Disgusting waste of her bloodline. Her parents clearly didn't raise her right." -- Bitter old man.
"I pity the poor sod who is married to her. I've seen her flirting with so many different men, I find it difficult to believe she stays faithful." -- Nosy guy.

◢ Rare Rumors - You're either an EXCELLENT informant or one nosy bastard, either way, please ask OOC before using.

"She has been quesitoned multiple times for different conspiracies surrounding her... Always has an excuse, always has a damn story. The latest crime she was questioned for was that massacre in Ul'dah where twenty-two were killed. I was at the trial of the supposed killer, but something didn't sit right with me. She seemed too calm, almost relieved... I heard she behaved similarily in her questioning. She must be used to it by now. I don't trust people like that. No-one should trust people like that." -- Brass Blade Officer
"Yeah, she's a good alchemist alright. About four cycles ago she arrived into our forests with some sob story about losing her friends in a ship wreckage. Veileux took pity of her, poor sod. We were all stupid enough to trust her. Within a year he was imprisioned for the production of illegal alchemical substances, and our group completely fell apart. Of course she got away scot-free, she turned us in, after all. She's a back-stabbing, manipulative piece of shit. I knew it from the beginning, of course no-one believed me until they were behind bars. " -- Gridanian Prisoner, former medic.
"Her bloodline is cursed. Both by their sickness and their duty. 'Keepers' they call'em. Protectors and hoarders of magical artifacts stuck to their kin for generations. They don't have a choice, you're born in that bloodline, you're bound to their duty. It's a rather sad existance. Imagine that horrid luck! Bound in life to magic by your bloodline's duty, bound in death to magic by your bloodline's curse. There is some cruel, sweet irony in that. I heard her kind is still considered 'top stock' in most circles of magi. Wonder why she's pissing it all away by marrying a non-mage?" -- Sharlayan Charlatan.

"She carries herself with an air of dignity and boasts a keen mind and sharp wit. I respect her quite a bit." - Graeham Ridgefield
"Take care, lad, lest ye find yourself used up and discarded like yesterday's refuse when the next shiny new thing comes along, and you're no longer a convenience to her. She's a fake, that one. Through and through. Should you still wish to take your chances, though, enjoy her while you can. When I finally put down that traitorous dog, I'll be doing all the realm a favor." - Velenn Letourneaux
"Highly dangerous, highly arrogant. If we were to match wits I'd say she is far outclassed, though...there is something in the way that she speaks, in the look in her eye that is utterly disarming and absolutely alarming. If you'd ask me anything else about her though...I'd say you should mind our own business while you still have the capacity for curiosity. " - Lho'a Garanjy
"Lady Rochester was a valued member of my branch when she was part of my free company. I'll admit that I admire her drive to succeed, even though I think sometimes her methods are a bit questionable. I've not spoken with her in a long time, but I may try to reconnect with her in the future. - Lan Darklyn
"“She is quite an enigma, is she not? She and I are similar in some regards, yet drastically different in others. I have to wonder how she came to be where she is now. Perhaps she will enlighten me, sometime.Edda Eglantine

Bird in a Cage(Age 21)
Velenn and Lan Darklyn began to notice Sasha was missing, and an investigation was launched. A few weeks into the investigation, they gathered intel from guards in the manor about where she was taken. They investigation turned into a rescue effort.

Meanwhile, Sasha stubbornly refused to cooperate with Cassius and his investigation, no, not because he was Garlean, but completely to spite her mother. It was a childish effort which only led to Cassius tormenting and torturing her into submission. Honestly, she didn't last a week. Cassius resumes his research, unaware of the storm about to burst through his laboratory.

A few weeks into his uninterrupted research (now with Sasha's full 'cooperation'), Evenn and Lan manage to make their way into the laboratory, and stealthily attempt a rescue. The rescue was (somewhat) succesful. Sasha and Lan escape, but Velenn is captured and imprisioned. Unable to relocate him for weeks, Sasha gave up on the search, and presumed his death. Little did she know that Velenn was very much alive, and as moons passed in prision, so did his resemtment towards her.

Whoopsie.

Mad Queen(Age 21)
Sasha finally returned home. Before she met with Catherine, a servant disclosed that her father had died to Illness while she was gone, and her mother had slowly been slipping into madness since then. Catherine welcomed her warmly, being nearly moved to tears when she saw her daughter finally return to her arms.

As Sasha stayed in the manor, she noticed Catherine's mannerisms were... Different. Not only that, but parts of the manor that had previously been used for aetherial research were closed off, and Catherine would go into hysterics if she saw Sasha mustering a spell. Catherine explained that Emeryck died due to his condition weakning him to the point the slightest aetherial instability would drive him into seizures. She feared Sasha would follow the same fate, so she banned all magic from the house.

Unable to pursue her passion, Sasha left the manor once again, but she kept contact with Catherine to soothe her worries (and to receive money from her).

While in Ul'dah, Sasha met a smooth-talking miqo'te by the name of Velenn Letourneaux. She found him interesting, witty, and incredibly intelligent. A breath of fresh air and a new start now that Sebastian had been taken care of. As they grew close, they both joined the Harbinger's of Dawn, a Free Company led by Faye Covington.

Friendship turned into love, though Sasha still maintained friendly contact with other men in her life, like X'elo and Stefan. X'elo, by now, was someone she manipulated for her own amusement, while Stefan became absent from her life due to his own work schedule, still, Velenn was more than enough to keep her occupied.

A few moons go by and Sasha simply forgets about Catherine, which caused the woman to become increasingly paranoid. Catherine, in panic, begins to consult a contact of hers, a Garlean Scientist named Cassius, and explains Sasha's condition to him, asking if perhaps he could offer a cure. Cassius told her that he would try to help, but that he'd have to take Sasha to a facility to properly study her condition--He even added that he will pay Catherine for this, and that Sasha will be safely returned to her once the research had been completed.

This was all a lie, of course.

Catherine invited Sasha for dinner with a "guest", being unaware of Catherine's intentions, Sasha allowed herself to be disarmed, chalking it all up to the 'no magic in the house' rule. It only took a single look at her guest to know something was wrong. By the time she could react, however, she was already cornered and overpowered.

Cassius took her back to his laboratory, turning Sasha Rochester into a missing person.

Blood on the Streets (Age 20-21)
The search became known, and it became difficult for Sasha to gather allies when most were tempted to drag her back to her family, eager to claim the generous reward for her return. At this time, Sasha had three people actively protecting her from mercenaries and adventurers alike: Cyril, Wolfskull, and Zerier. While X'elo assisted in most of their ventures, Sasha at the time deemed him too weak and incompetent to consider him security, despite the fact he proved otherwise many times.

As months went by, more adventurers hunted her down. Sebastian joined the search himself. More things became necessary, more name changes, more escapes, more sneaking around. It began to wear her down. She needed a final solution. She would return to her family---If Sebastian was dead. In order to do that, however, she needed help from someone morally corrupt enough to carry on an assasination.

Stefan Delumiere.

She contacted him, and knowing he wouldn't do it for free, offered a couple of million to dispose of him. Stefan agreed, and a week later, Sebastian had been brutally murdered somewhere near the pearl lane. Sasha, eternally grateful for his service, thanked Stefan and they became rather close... So close, in fact, that they became romantically involved.

The suspects were never found, but the Castilles suspected Sasha's involvement due to previous events. This is when Edward and Edith (Sebastian's parents) began their investigation, aided by one of Edward's bastard sons, Alexander Garamsythe. He would become relevant much later.

Cops & Robbers (Age 19-20)
Ecstatic about the news of her daughter's return, Catherine informed Emeryck and the Castilles about Sasha's whereabouts, something that was received with both relief and happiness--Their union was back on track. It didn't take long before they combined efforts to hire search parties and mercenaries to look for Sasha and bring her back home.

A few days pass before Sasha stumbled upon a "MISSING" poster with her face on it, she frowned, tearing down every poster she saw as she began to think about hiring back-up. Seeing that her search had yet to pick traction, she goes to the adventurers guild to see if she could recruit security and useful potential allies.

The Diamond Hound (Age 19)
Sasha arrived in Ul'dah for the first time in nearly four cycles. She found herself alone once again, hungry, and with only a single hope for funds before her coffers ran empty: Her mother's diamond choker, the last piece of jewelry she stole from her cycles earlier.

Sasha searched for a potential buyer for weeks, carefully making sure to keep the necklace out of sight from thieves or any threat. One evening, she overheard a man claiming to be Ul'dah's top 'Diamond Hound', a talented jewler and merchant of such goods. It only took a single look at him for Sasha to know that he was what she was looking for: A man with more gil than brains.

Sasha befriends this man, whose name was Momoruto Sosoruto. A few days passed before she finally asked him if he'd be interested in buying a choker from her, he said he'd only be interested in real diamonds, something that clearly would never be an issue. When his eyes fell upon the choker, he was immediately interested, asking where it came from and how she got her hands on it, Sasha said it was a family relic that had been passed for generations, a choker her mother had given her for her 16th birthday. The man ate the story up and agreed to buy it for a couple of million, more than enough to get her back on her feet.

A few weeks passed before Catherine caught wind of the fact a rare Thavnarian Dimond necklace was being sold in the black market, very similar to what her daughter had stolen--Seeing a glimpse of hope, she decided to investigate the matter and invites Momoruto to the manor, an invitation he gladly accepted without knowing he'd be questioned.

Catherine greeted Momoruto without a glimpse of rancor, telling him that she was interested in finding the person who sold him the necklace. Momoruto refused, saying that for the sake of their security, he kept their names anonymous. Catherine offered to buy the necklace and to pay "a little" extra for information. Expecting to have to go through a chain of people before encountering her daughter, Catherine was delighted to know that Lolruto's source happened to be a "pretty girl with brown and white hair". The woman thanked him for his time, and began to plan her family reunion.

The Cursed Alchemist (Age 17-19)
Sasha arrived in Gridania, with a new identity, lost, and completely alone. She was cold, hungry, and terrified of anyone from Ul'dah or Limsa Lominsa following her trail. Enter stage Veileux. Being a young alchemist running his own clinic, he saw a trembling, vulnerable Sasha as a chance to play hero. So he approached her, offered his aid, and proceeded to nurture her for a few weeks.

During these weeks, Veileux realized that Sasha is not only a talented conjurer, but an alchemist to boot. Knowing her skills, he promised that as long as she works alongside him, he would provide her with food and shelter. Sasha agreed to this. Knowing and analysing Veileux, she exploited his weakness for the vulnerable, and they quickly became romantically involved.

A few months into the business, they stumble upon two redbellies while looking for ingredients in the shroud. The redbellies were lying on the ground, high out of their minds, one of them recognized Veileux as an alchemist, and asked him if he had any of the 'good stuff', that they'd pay generously for it. Veileux denied this and left both men on the ground.

That night, back in the clinic, Sasha expressed her concern for their financial stability, and questioned whether they should be producing recreational drugs to pull in more profit. Veileux dismissed this, saying he'll think about it the next morning.

The next morning Sasha has a conversation with Veileux, explaining their financial difficulties and how busieness in narcotics can be incredibly lucrative if they're careful enough. Eventually, the man yields to her cocerns, and they begin to underhandedly sell soft drugs. As moons pass, Veileux's confidence grows, and his company grows with him. He then controlled a major drug smuggling and production ring in Gridania. The money kept pouring in, and the authorities began to notice.

One night, a contact revealed to Sasha that the wailers had been considering starting an investigation, but that they have yet to follow a lead after a disastruous incident of lost merchandise and arrests. Sasha thanked the informant and began to plan her exit.

The next morning the wailers found Sasha at their doorstep, saying that she had some information to aid them in the investigation. They took her testimony, the following day, a chain of arrests began throughout the city-state.

Veileux chose not to incriminate Sasha, not knowing her involvement in the investigation. He covered for her, claiming that she was one of the few alchemists who didn't know what was happening, something that supported her testimony. Veileux was condemned to fifteen summers in prision.

Knowing that she'd be covered, she promised Veileux that she would visit him as often as she could. In the three years it took for him to break out, she never visited once.

Veileux now knows the truth.

Into the Whirl (Age 16-17)
Sasha arrived in Limsa Lominsa under a fake alias, and immediately began to search for adventurers to aid her in her mission of leaving the continent for good. As she walked on the decks, she met a crew of seafering adventurers. Sasha nonchalantly asked if she can join them, her request was flatly denied intially, but they eventually relented when she offered to pay them and to aid them as a conjurer on-deck.

Things went smoothly for over a year, the crew considered her one of their own. She began a romantic relationship with the captain's son, Tristan, whom she intially befriended out of convenience but ultimately grew attached to. This, however, didn't last too long.

As they were bypassing an Island with a large grotto, one of the crewmen mentioned that the place was filled with Nymian artifacts, but most people were afraid to sail into the cave due to its unstable structure and frequency of earthquakes in the area. Excited by this idea, Sasha (along with a few other crewmembers) began to insist on entering the cave, and the captain eventually yielded despite his well-founded uncertainty.

They managed to sail inside the cave, exploring it for a few hours to find it had already been scavenged. When the captain began to turn back, an earthquake struck, causing parts of the cave to collapse on the entrance and damage the ship. Angry, the captain began to accuse Sasha and his crewmen for talking him into sailing inside the cave, an irraitonal response which Tristan sought to point out--Only to be interrupted by a second earthquake that collapsed the cave on the entire ship and the crewmen. From the 36 crewmen, roughly 8 survived the second quake, two perishing to their wounds a few hours later.

The captain's initial blame caused Sasha to feel incredibly guilty, and instead of helping the few survivors, she ran away, abandoning them in the cave without a medic in sight. Tristan sought to follow, but lost her the moment she crawled out of the cave through a small hole he wouldn't fit in.

By the time the survivors found another exit from the cave, Sasha was already on the other end of the island, boarding a ship of fishermen who took pity on her.

The fishermen contacted the authorities, trying to start rescue efforts for those left behind. The rescue managed to find the survivors, but when they sought to reunite them, Sasha had already left the city for Gridania.
Out of the House (age 14-16)
Sasha was 14, engaged to Sebastian Castille. Their marriage had been arranged by their parents in order to further their monetary interests. They had been childhood friends and got along rather well, so everyone seemed rather content with the arrangement. As the years go by, their friendship began to bloom into romance. Sebastian became Sasha's first kiss, and he began to pressure her into going beyond that. Much to his frustration, Sasha did not budge in her desire to keep her virginity until her wedding night. Moons went by and Sebastian's patience began to wane. On the night before her 16th birhday, he reached a breaking point and attempted to force himself on her. Fortunately, Sasha was able to push him off and run away, but the night only proceeded to get worse.

Catherine and Emeryck were in their library when they were met with the image of their daughter in hysterics. As they try to calm her down, Sasha explained that she wanted to call off the marriage due to what just transpired. Emeryck was disgusted by Sebastian's actions, but Catherine jumped to his defense, claiming that as her fianceé it was his right anyway, and that she shouldn't "selfishly" call off an arrangement that would greatly benefit both families involved. Despite his feelings, Emeryck relents to Catherine's request to push for the marriage, drastically damaging the relationship between them and their daughter. Sasha was dismissed to her bedroom. Sebastian was politely dismissed from the manor for the evening.

K'alla, Sasha's maid at the time, watched this transpire and immediately went to her room, comforting what she saw as a vulnerable, sobbing child. Feeling immense pity for her and seeing no other escape, K'alla reluctantly agreed to aid her in her mission to run away from her family until they choose to call off the marriage. The next evening, on her 16th birthday, Sasha stole many of her mother's jewels, packed her things, and left the manor for good.

RP Hooks

HELLO WRITING STUFF STILL

Personal RP Limits & Preferences

I am open to almost all kinds of RP. Gore, dark themes, violence, sexual themes, torture, and even severely disturbing content is fine with me. I have a pretty strong stomach for this kind of stuff, regardless, it's preferable that you read the rest of this section to avoid any misunderstandings.

Permadeath is allowed. However, please consult out of characer before doing any sort of long-term injury or even attempting to kill this character, this includes severe psychological damage. Needless to say, if you follow this route you have to be prepared for consequences. I will not tolerate someone killing or severely injuring a character and then expecting no IC retaliation. I've had this happen before, it won't happen again.

There are certain things I'm not willing to RP. RP involving pedophilia, zoophilia, loli/shota-con is not something I'm interested in. I will not RP any sexual content with OOC (or IC) minors.
