Combat, Abilities & Weaponry
Aetherial Understanding & Training Rozaria hails from a home of warriors in the making. While her chosen aspect to life was a Katana, knowledge of Aether control was made a necessity among her family. She has enough understanding to use low level healing spells. But due to her swordsmanship training, her Aether is usually used in tandem with her Katana. Storing energy into her sheathe and firing it out, or using it to fuel her techniques. Because her formal training ended rather soon, most of what she has learned before joining Eorzea Garden has been completely self taught or "winged". Rozaria is also in the process of developing a walking technique that uses sound and area Aether control to manipulate the sights of a person the technique is used on. If all goes well, it would be one that would have her appear to spawn illusionary clones of herself, using audio and visual ques to confuse a person. She'd come to name this concept technique the "Formless Mystic Step". Lastly, as Rozaria has begun training in the Dark Arts, her choice in weaponry has shifted. While she still uses a katana, her grandfather's blade has been modified past its original design to accommodate her new style as she now has a proper Master. Without a sheathe to fit it, she cannot use her original technique of storing aether and firing it out, but she has begun learning a new style of magic to make up for it. Rune KnightFollowing her previous combat tactics class, Rozaria was given the task to find a style more unique to herself. This is where she gained the idea to practice Rune Magic to some degree. Proper research would be required beforehand, but her goal is to develop a way to place runes on objects such as her sword, or objects for varying effects. Non-Combat Abilities
Informal Training
OOC Note
Its a running joke that Rozaria is not a very physically strong girl. Even if she carries and swings a large weapon, once she is disarmed, her barehanded brawling is nothing more than the harmless swings of a kitten. Its a reference to RWBY if you've seen it, as such was made a joke there. Inspiration for her style comes from characters like Saito (FGO) Nero (DmC) and more. More will be added as time goes on, such as Espionage training and Aether studies, etc. Her weapons of choice are either a Greatclub (For Training), and a Claymore for real battle situations.

Luna Clan's Origin
Within a village hidden in the Gridanian forests, a clan of adventurers once lived. Originally a clan hailing from the mountains of Doma, it boasted a history of assassination and intimidation. The target would only be those that act with evil in their hearts. Something as small as a bandit camp, or as large as a politician in high power would not fail to become the next victim. Over centuries, and relocation, that style of operation has long since faded. Yet still, the clan trained the offspring to come with each passing generation, so that their skills would reach the future. No longer seeing fit to use their skill and tactics for murder, the elders taught the new generation that their skills should be used to help and protect. Part of this new generation was Rozaria, and her sister Raskeria. Brought to life through union between a Hyur outsider and their Auri mother, with support from their collective parents, the clans named changed to match the husband of the current generation. The convenient surname of Luna was much to the delight of the Raen members of the family, as they believe their ancestor is the moon itself. For this, the name was accepted wholeheartedly.
Sixth Astral Era (Early Childhood)
Rozaria herself was raised to many of the same aspects of most children. From an early age, she was educated in general studies, while otherwise being taught proper use of Aether and other magical properties. Military arts were studied, but unlike her elder sister, when it came to choosing a weapon there were troubles in her ability to gain much interest in using them. It wasn't until witnessing the sheer technique and speed her own grandfather displayed, when Rozaria became infatuated with the katana of all things.
Though, only born one year apart from one another, the gap in strength became too massive to ignore. Rozaria would train day in and out, but compared to her sister Raskeria, who studied multiple weapons, she discovered her own mediocrity. Raskeria's choice in weaponry was a grimoire that was said to have been cursed for one reason or another. A grimoire rumored to possibly allow one to summon a Voidsent, but regardless of such, Rozaria could only focus on her own lack of talent compared to her sisters.
Early teen Years
On her 14th birthday, Rozaria watched as her sister finally rose to the top in their clan. A celebration was held that hailed her as the new head. Though young, she had the maturity to handle the role that would allow their parents and elders to rest. Though the day itself was that which drove Rozaria to feelings of resentment and jealousy. All eyes were always on Raskeria, rarely looking Rozaria's way. Through her eyes, she was neglected and lacking in recognition.
"If it weren't for that dumb book, would we have switched places?...." She asked herself, while looking on from the sidelines.
Loss and Tragedy
Soon after her ascension, a violent storm struck the small village. Throughout a flow of emotions, Rozaria in her fit of anger, Rozaria saw fit to steal her sister's book and toss it out into the nearest lake. Unaware of the many eyes on her clan, rivals saw fit to use the mishap as an opportunity to strike. Once Rozaria returned, as that was left of her village was ash. Not many survived the encounter, while unaware of the true culprits. With her sister missing and assumed dead, Rozaria was hurriedly promoted as the Luna clan's head.
Everyone left alive remained unaware that her own actions left them without a warrior to defend them. The forced ascension did nothing to bring her joy, in fact the title felt more like a branding and a curse so that she would never forget.
"It is my fault. My fault for being jealous of a genius. Through my own actions, I doomed everyone with my own hands."
"How can I atone for my sins to you all? I'm not even good enough to be his replacement."
Joining the Garden (A New Beginning)
Years passed. Along with the Calamity. The elders and those left of the clan passed away either due to old age or sickness. Rozaria was left with her grandfather's katana as her own and gave her home one last exploration before finally deciding to set out for the world. Believing her sister to be alive and missing, she promised herself that she would face Raskeria and explain her wrongdoings. She couldn't allow herself to die without doing so.
"I've become an adult, yet my memory of your face is still stuck in time to that day. I'm sorry. I promise, I will find you. So please wait for me, Raskeria. No matter what it takes."
Somewhere in the world, Raskeria lived. Darkness festering in her heart…
Rozaria was recruited to join a school of future heroes in the making. A school of young individuals of all ages, and elder veterans of the world that acted as their teachers. Rozaria began with a slow start, but eventually mixed in well with the crowd. She has yet to experience any major missions. So far, she's been enjoying the school life with the new friends she has made. The first friendly face being a Miqote by the name of Reina Highwind and a Raen by the name of Michiru Tempest. Within this school, Rozaria only grew to make more friends, and engage in pranks, or various antics of the like, slowly finding true happiness to break away from her depression.
Dark Heart
Off on an expedition as part of an assignment from one of her many instructors, Rozaria scavenged the war torn lands of the now ended Dragonsong War, meant to learn from the carnage and chaos while taking notes to understand the atmosphere of a true battlefield. The rocky lands served as a rough bed for the night, but during her research she came across a peculiar stone that made the trip far worth it, bad bed or otherwise. The stone "spoke" to her in a way. Something that would come to cause an even more peculiar encounter within the lands of Ishgard the following day.... This caused a meeting between Rozaria and a mysterious Knight by the name of Mozmoetta. Rozaria being saved after an encounter with a mutated Roegadyn and his family, had a conversation with the fellow Auri about the voidsents, and Dark Knights that travel around hunting them in secret. Being interested, and courageous enough to join this path, fueled by her hatred for the Void, Rozaria agreed to accompany Mozmoetta on a hunt. Then later met at Mozmoetta's estate for her first beginning lesson about the history of Dark Knights and their innerworkings.
With one lesson done, training was sure to continue.
