Basic Info
Tristian is a 17 year-old, tall (5'7"), lean, Miqo'te. He has blond hair, grey-blue eyes, and a scar across the bridge of his nose. As for cloths, he currently has some light plate bracers and shin-guards but nothing substantial in ways of armor.
Backstory
In a short summery of Tristian's backstory is that his Sunseeker parents and him lived in a small outpost near Ishgard before the second invasion occurred. They left the tribe life to seek better fortunes in a logging outpost not far from one of the great cities. A fugitive took refuge in the outpost hoping to hide from the invading Garleans but the outpost was destroyed by a small scouting party shortly afterword. Emotionally traumatized he wandered for a day or two before meeting a Garlean fugitive who was hiding in the outpost just before the attack. The Garlean feeling responsible for the boy's plight took him in. (This is when Tristian was really young and because of that, he doesn't remember much of the attack.) Tristian took to calling him "The Master" and the Master gave Tristian his name.
After a few years of the master teaching Tristian to speak, read and write in Garlean and Tristian being the master's personal squire, (polishing armor and sharpening the master's sword, that sort of thing)
Two years later, the same scouting party from the attack on the outpost found him and the Master. They attacked as well as lighting the wooded area ablaze to hinder their movement. In the engagement the Master and the officer in command of the party clashed. The Master was killed and the Sargent turned to Tristian who was petrified. He fell back and as the Sergeant loomed over him, Tristian reached for the Master's sword and took a wild slash, cutting the Sergeant’s face, thus earning him the name "The Scarred One." Tristian took off holding onto the Master's sword and scabbard while the Scarred One was screaming at the young Miqo'te. Tristian gets away and wonders on his own for a few years picking up hunting and thieving skills to survive.
Personality
- He is honorable and airs on the chaotic good on the moral spectrum. He would be friends with an honest thief and he would deck a snobby noble. He hates being talked down to.
- He is rather impulsive in behavior but he will restrain himself if the situation calls for it.
- He is ignorant of most of Eorzean culture because he spent childhood being with a Garlean, learning Garlean things.
- Also due to the destruction of his home and the burning of the forest around him when the Master died, Tristian has become Arsonphobic (Afraid of fire.)
- He also has severe motion sickness. If he rides a chocabo or even in an airship, he'll be over the side vomiting and be really weak.
- Another thing about him is that he isn't very bright. He doesn't have the mental capacity to play mind games, nor would he want to. He would rather fight an opponent head on and be done with it than have a long-winded mental battle.
- Tristian idolized his master so much to the point that he was not trying to be himself, he was trying to be a copy of the Master. Not until recently did he realize this and started coming into his own.

Activities
Tristian has found a friend in K'haz Tia during an incident in Gridania became in debt to him. All tho Tristian decided he would act rather childish decided he would be a dick towards K'haz, who had healed his wounds and was giving him a home. K'haz at the time was an alcoholic and Tristian didn't like that at all, so using his pickpocket skills he often took K'haz's flask and hid it from him for days at a time until K'haz caught on and took it from him.
Later Raze entered the picture, Tristian was taking a class with K'haz's Conjury teacher, Warner. After a long session with Warner they concluded that Tristian had no talent for Conjury magic. Exhausted Tristian returned to K'haz with Warner just before Raze, from the brush, shot a small ball of Aether at K'haz like a bullet. Tristian did not appreciate someone harming his friend so he challenged Raze to a fight. There was a long winded statement in poetry that Tristian didn't quite understand but he didn't care. Exhausted he charged anyway, his master's sword in hand trying to take down the poet. He wound up getting bloody and broken through ice shards that slipped through his defense and a fireball to the fore-arm without even being close enough to touch the poet. He dropped his sword in the processes but he refused to be beaten. Defiantly he walked up to the poet, taking even more punishment to simply headbutt the poet. He didn't to that much damage but to him, it was a hard fought victory. That one hit told him that he could beat him, if he pushed himself harder and wasn't exhausted at the start of the fight. After the head but he slid off the poet's shoulder and fell to the ground unconscious. K'haz and Warner took Tristian away but left his sword behind.
Tristian would wake up at the fane and panic, his master's sword no where to be seen. Regardless of his injurd body he willed to get up. He slowly got dressed and snuck away during the shift change and returned to where he dropped his sword. The poet's scent was all over the area, he was overcome with anger and tracked down the poet to a small lake in the central shroud, not to far from where Tristian had fought the him. K'haz was already there talking to the poet before Tristian demanded that his sword be returned. He bargained that he would leave and never come back if he was given the master's sword. The poet would simply draw the sword and shatter it before Tristian's eyes. That was the last thing Tristian had to remember the Master by. He collapsed to the ground in hysteria, trying to put the pieces back together as if it would simply mend itself after. Tristian would then be kicked and beaten while he was on the ground crying. The Poet would then mount his chocabo and leave Tristian in k'haz's care before returning to Uld'ah. He would return in a week's time.
Tristian could not move on, he idolized his master. So much so that he even payed for hair dyes to change his blonde hair to silver with streaks of crimson red to resemble the Master. But K'haz dragged him out of the rut kicking and screaming, teaching him how to read and write in the Eorzean language, which he had never learned to do. His books were medical and his lessons were a battle, literally. K'haz would fight Tristian using his conjoury and tristian would have to spell the word correctly or he would be struck. This helped with Tristian's Pugilism in two ways; one for teaching him how to use his fists instead of a sword. Two for learning about the human body.
Upon the Poets return, he took K'haz and one of his friends, X'yuikiih, and Tristian to Uld'ah. Tristian was not to happy travailing, although he wasn't sure which he hated more. Travailing with the Poet, or riding a Chocabo. The last night before they would ride into Uld'ah, an unexpected visitor came to camp. A lalafell came into camp and was sifting through everyone's' bags. Without hesitation Tristian slew the intruder to find that he was aquanted with K'haz. Tristian, still being new to taking human life, was having issues of his own. He had to leave for the moment, he couldn't stand K'haz's bantering and the looming Poet, waiting for k'haz to give the okay so he could light Tristian on fire with his magic. Tristian grabbed his belongings and set out into the darkness of the Thanalan night, heading towards Uld'ah
He managed to come in a day late so he had to find his own way into the gates. For Tristian it was a matter of waiting for the next carriage to come by and grab on to the bottom. He snuck in with ease. Once safely inside he dropped from underneath the carriage and it pulled away as he sat in the streets of Uld'ah. Knowing he was late he immediately made for the meeting point which was, poets house. He wasn't to thrilled with seeing poet again but he owed it to k'haz to put his worries at ease. After which he went to the Pugilists' guild and signed up immediately and started with his training in earnest.
Other Notes
His most defining pieces of clothing is a red scarf and black leather jacket which has great sentimental value to him because it belonged to his parents. Along with this he lugs around the Master's shatterd sword which is wrapped in his father's jacket and uses his mom's scarf to tie it all together.
