[edit] Details Personality Relationships Rumors Gallery OOC Notes GENERAL INFORMATION Nivia is the daughter of a lesser nobleman of Ishgard. She is not blood though. She was adopted and is actually a Duskwight. Nivia does not stay in Ishgard. She ran away when she was younger, and even though she has gone back, she prefers to wander the land. She has her own place that she goes to when not traveling. Nivia is kind and doesn't like to judge people based on appearance. APPEARANCE Nivia is an Elezen that is slightly shorter than average height. Her build is slim like most Elezen. Nivia's complexion is pale, and that has allowed her to blend is with Elezens that are not Duskwight if they do not know who she is. She keeps her dark brown hair short, and there is also grey in her hair. It's been like that for as long as she can remember. Nivia has light brown eyes that sometimes look gold depending on the light. Her eyesight is poor, and so she wear glasses. Her hearing is excellent though. Her ears are not that long or pointy. She generally wears her black ear clasps and one or two other earrings. The last thing about her appearance would be the beauty mark that is under her left eye. Aspects That Stand Out: ■ The grey in her hair. ■ Her glasses. ■ Her complexion. PERSONALITY Nivia is extremely kind. She does not care what class someone is or even their race. She grew up being different than the other Elezens around her. It made her feel unwelcome even before she knew why they gave her such looks. She doesn't want others to be looked upon the same way. Nivia is also an extremely passionate person. What she is passionate about sometimes changes and moves around between her interests, but when she is focused on one of them, she becomes very passionate about it. L I K E S ■ Flowers. I love having different flowers around the house. I also love being able to see them when I am away as well (which I often am). The scent is always nice, and flowers look lovely. ■ Divination. I have an interest in divination. I use cards mostly. I did learn a bit of astronomy last time I visited Ishgard, but I don't use it often. The cards are enough for me. ■ Archery. I have always liked archery. I have had a talent for it since a young age. I am mostly self-taught from constantly practicing. My brother gave me pointers when I started to learn, but archery was never his area, so he could only tell me the basics. ■ Tea. I very much like tea. ■ Crystals and Gems. I like crystals quite a bit. They are beautiful. D I S L I K E S ■ Judgmental People. I cannot stand it when someone is judged based on their appearance. It is a terrible thing to do. You cannot know someone and their story simply by looking at them. Claiming to is absurd, and treating them differently is terrible. ■ Mint. H O B B I E S ■ Daydreaming.I daydream quite often. I didn't play with the other children when I was younger, and daydreaming is what I ended up doing when I wasn't reading and practicing archery. ■ Archery. I like to practice whenever I am not in the mood to read or continue on with whatever I am doing. ■ Goldsmithing. I sometimes work on making jewelry. It's not a hobby that I do too too often, but I do it enough that I can fix any of my jewelry or weapons without having to think too much about what needs to be done. ■ Reading. Reading is another thing that I like to do. S T R E N G T H S ■ Excellent Hearing. Nivia is Duskwight, and so she has great hearing. ■ Excellent Aim. Nivia has been using the bow for many years. She has experience, and so she has come to have great aim. ■ Magic. Although her magic is nowhere near as powerful as those that devote themselves to the different magical arts, she does know and can use magic. She considers it a strength because most do not know that she can cast spells and heal small injuries. Perhaps this is something that she can learn more about. ■ Divination. Her style of divination is different than what is taught in Ishgard. However, she can predict things will the help of her cards. She does not do this with everything, but it can be a strength.
