General Information

The adopted daughter of an Ishgard Inquisitor, Marian is currently focused on travelling & research to see how influencing aether and communication with elementals can affect the weather: her ultimate goal is to help restore Ishgard's pre-Calamity climate.

Appearance

5ft 5 with a slim build, Marian could be described as a very 'plain' looking girl: With pale skin, butter blonde hair which is long but always plaited and kept neatly in buns at the base of her head, the only really notable feature is her distinctive soft lavender coloured eyes.

Raleigh Prolux (Adopted Father, Elezen) ☀ § ✔ An Inquisitor of Ishgard who eschewed his loyalty & lineage to any High House to prevent politics from interfering with his work. He adopted Marian & Joshua after their parents perished due to a Dravian attack when they were children. The only parent Marian has ever meaningfully known, she holds him in the highest regard and is eternally grateful for taking Joshua and herself in when they had nowhere else to turn. While she will always love and respect him, they do not always see eye-to-eye, especially in regards to his work. If anything, Marian feels sorry for Raleigh that his work seems to hollow him and keep him trapped in pursuit of enemies ever at the border, a fate she also fears her brother succumbing to. Joshua Vaphialdis (Brother, Hyur) ☀ § ✔ A quiet but zealous priest of the Fury who serves devotedly in Saint Reymanaud's Cathedral. While Marian took on their adopted father's name, he kept their birthparent's one. Much like with their father, Marian does love her brother dearly but is often frustrated with his stubbornness and inability to see things from other points of view. His unnervingly deep devotion to the Church & Holy See worries her and causes her to fear that he may do something very foolish that he'll come to regret later.
