Chaotic Good General Information Pleasing to look at and not particularly memorable, R'atri appears to be your standard adventurer. She has a wide knowledge base on a huge range of topics, though her favorite tends to be history. She's more than happy just to let someone chatter on than to speak herself. Though subtly, it is clear that her left eye is slightly lighter than her right. She's a woman with eyes the color of the sea and, like the surface of the sea, they seem to reveal hidden depths. R'atri is always watching. Always. Her gaze is observant, though it is rare that she voices such observations unless she must. If her raven hair is not tied up to keep it out of her face, it easily falls past the middle of her back to rest in soft waves that somehow perfectly frame her face. Physique & Markings Save for the green tattoo under her right eye, R'atri has little in the way of defining markings. Certainly, she has no visible scars. Her stature is small, her body in peak physical condition, and her clothes seem to hide surprisingly toned muscles. Hygiene & Attire When not in her captain's attire, R'atri favors clothes made from expensive materials - as much for comfort as for fashion. Though understated, it's clear this woman has expensive tastes and reflects that taste in what she wears. R'atri leaves a subtle scent of salt air and lilies in her wake, though this seems less a perfume and more a scent picked up naturally from her various activities. Personality Psychological Profile R'atri commands respect. She carries herself like a woman used to power - a woman used to getting what she wants. She doesn't abide traitors and has no use for people who show her rudeness. If she has an obsession, it could be called control. R'atri must be the one in control at all times. She can't stand the idea of being somehow lesser than those around her. Voice When speaking normally, R'atri's voice is soft and stern. Somehow, even at a whisper, it demands attention. She rarely speaks with much emotion at all, instead preferring a monotone in spite of it often causing her to be misunderstood. Philosophy & Mannerisms R'atri prides herself on manners. She may beat a man to death but she will do so with dignity. She isn't above torture to get things she wants. Still, she rarely has need for such brutish measures. First and foremost, R'atri practices diplomacy. Why kill something that could be useful? She's just as likely to bring someone over to her cause as she is to kill them. And why is this? Simple: R'atri wants as many advantages over others that she can have. History . Disclaimer: Please ask me if you plan on your character knowing some things about R'atri. A lot of her past isn't common knowledge. Sixth Astral Era Childhood From birth, R'atri was fascinated by the sea. Nomadic though her tribe was, every chance she had to glimpse the sea was seared into her mind. However, it wasn't to last. Ripped from her tribe at age 11 along with her twin brother, R'avitra, R'atri was thrust into a completely different life. One that she doesn't talk about. How did she become a pirate captain? How did she get an entire ship of people to follow her? You'll have to ask her that. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood R'atri is the proud captain of the Nymeia's Lily - an infamous vessel known for sailing into dangerous waters to secure trading routes. Not that all these "trades" are above-board. Frankly, she's a privateer and a pirate - one that has earned her respect from the ground up. Known as a tough but fair woman, R'atri does not bear insubordination easily. She'll take care of her men - both in the traditional sense and the more ominous sense, should they cross her. In Recent Times Moving Forward For now, R'atri takes up residence in both Shirogane and The Shroud (specifically, a dive bar called The Sanguine Shadow). When she isn't present in one place, she's usually found at the other. Her reason for taking up with The Sanguine Shadow is simple: she's bored. She needs something more in life and she's hoping this group will provide it to her. If not? Well, there's certainly other groups out there who are just as worthwhile.

Character Concept R'atri's concept is that of a woman who has clawed her way up from the bottom through an iron will and an unstoppable desire never to be treated like nothing again. She's set up to be a pirate and a fairly ruthless one at that. Because of her stilted nature, she's terrible when it comes to actually interacting with other people. She is surprisingly loyal when it comes to those she has pledged herself to. ■ Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: Polite as she is, R'atri considers herself above most others. She doesn't get involved in petty squabbles and instead reserves her emotions for those who deserve to see them. ■ Sugar and Ice Personality: R'atri can be kind. Really, she can. It just takes time getting used to how she operates. Though she does show the world the image of a cold woman in control of everything, those close to her know differently.
