General Information
Iskand'r is a bright eyed young Miqo'te whose only true desire is to run through life with a full stomach and lots of excitement. Overall, he has a lack of any ambitions, moving around wherever he pleases. He has the poor habit of mooching off friends and family alike during his never ending travels. Fitted with a short attention span and a Napoleon Complex, Iskand'r often comes off as hostile, untrusting, and self-assured to strangers. Even among his loved ones he can be standoffish and rude. But none of these traits are rooted in malicious feelings, simply overwhelming and obvious insecurities. At heart, and when not pressed by others, Iskand'r is a glad hearted boy who is eager for approval and affection. If he finds that his sharp tone has genuinely hurt someone he cares for, he will, inevitable so, apologize. If one ever doubts his truthfully gentle soul, they only need watch his face turn bright pink when he rigorously denies having any feelings of affection or compassion for anyone.
Appearance
Only 5"2, Iskand'r is notably shorter than most of his peers (miqo'te or otherwise.) Iskand'r's penchant for wearing little to no clothing at any point in time has granted him a two special characteristics: a glowing tan and a few too many scars. Small slash marks cover is sun kissed arms and torso, littering his skin with little pale stains. His honey shaded hair, tinged with faded pink dye falls to his chin if left ungroomed, but his nomadic and active lifestyle demands he pins his hair up in a small pony tail behind his head. When the weather proves too cold, he will let his hair down in the hopes to keep warm (hat wearing is blasphemous and at the very most you might catch him pulling up a hood should snow, rain, and wind overpower his vanity.) Iskand'r is fitted with one sky blue eye and one bright green eye. A light scar colors his left cheek and jaw, barely noticeable on first glance.
As mentioned before, Iskand'r has an aversion to clothing. Complaints like "it's too hot" and "the fabric is itchy" passed his lips many times as a child, just before discarding the clothes his mother so carefully picked for him, running about the caravan in nothing more than shorts. He eventually learned to wear shoes (though opened to sandals are still his preference) after taking a rusty nail to the foot, he never did grow out of his exhibitionism. If the weather is so much as lukewarm, he will refuse to wear a shirt. If forced out of his natural, sunny habitat, he will down a light blue sweater and scarf (both of which are gifts from loved ones he claims to only keep around for practical purposes). On his side are two swords. A shorter bastard sword and a longer tachi blade, which may be compared to his own height. He also usually has a on dagger strapped to his right thigh and a small arm shield which he adopted use of after the first time he got stabbed.

Mannerisms
As mentioned before, Iskand'r struggles socially, like many people his age, and finds himself flinging wildly between annoyed and embarrassed. When in a good mood he carries himself confidently, wearing a smug grin befitting any catboy. When something, or someone, triggers his insecurities, Iskand'r resorts to a more defensive or aggressive posture. His tail stands straight and his ears pin back when this happens, contrary to his usual demeanor where in his ears are perks and his tail flicking gently.
Philosophy & Ideals
While Iskand'r has no reason not to believe in gods, he also has little reason to practice their worship. He does however have some ideals and standards for behavior, finding racism and other petty predujuices pointless and wastes of time, if not proof that other people are inherently bad. On the matter of life and how it should be lived, freedom takes all precedence. One should not tie themselves to people, places, and things in Iskand'r's mind.

Early Life
Childhood
Iskand'r birth and heritage are anonymous. He was found as an infant on the side of a road leading to Ul'dah by his adoptive mothers. Already fitted with miqo'te son (albeit a Keeper of the Moon), the couple believed they knew how to give him an appropriate sounding name for a Seeker of the Sun. They failed, hence why the extra letter of his name comes at the end, not the front.
Iskand'r spent his youth in the back of a caravan, travelling alongside traders and mercenaries, and living secluded in a cottage in La Noscea with his family. It was a carefree existence for the lad, spending the days running barefoot in the sun. This lifestyle instilled in him a strong love of freedom and a dislike for the constricting demands of city politeness. Of course, besides developing a lack of manners, this way of life also made education difficult for Iskand'r. The bulk of his education fell on his mother, Idra, who was not a native speaker of any of the main Eorzean languages. Paired with his inattentiveness, this handicapped his capacity to read and write. While he can manage well enough now when he must read, his spelling and handwriting are still subpar.
Adolescence
While his parents had never kept Iskand'r on a very short leash, they had always expected him to return to the caravan when it was time to leave, or back to the house before midnight. This changed when he was 16 and announced he would be staying longer in Ul'dah after they had stopped there with a caravan. While this declaration garnered some concern from his mothers and brothers, he was permitted to stay so long as he visited or caught up to them sooner or later. Since then he has been spending more and more time roaming at his own pace, only occasionally reuniting with his family.
Adulthood
Iskand'r is not yet an adult.
Recent Times
Iskand'r's latest endeavors have led to him travelling across Eorzea. He has made a few friends along the way, most notably Eberelle, an Ishgardian who probably worries for the well being of the semi-literate cat-boy.
